Anabel Axelrod is one of my favorite book characters! I just love how twisted her mind works; its many of the things we all say in our own heads but never repeat. I really like how “Adieu to Destiny”, as well as the rest of the series, is a mix of romance, mystery, and comedy. I find myself laughing at loud throughout the whole book. I absolutely love to read but very rarely re-read the same books more than once but the Axelrod series is one series that I have read multiple times and are my go-to-books when I cannot find anything good to read (or just need a little laugh). I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out and see what crazy antics Anabel does next.

Anabel is at it again!! Life couldn't stay nice an quite for the Axelrod group for long! This book doesn't disappoint, it's funny and still has a little mystery. I seriously recommend not only this book but the entire series!!! Tracy Ellen is an amazing writer! The characters are extremely relatable and I feel like we have all meet somebody like the Axelrod's at some point or another in our lives! Personal Anabel is my favorite and I can relate to her on some many levels! I hope you read this book as well as all her others! You will not be disappointed!!!

Tracy Ellen does it again! Adieu to Destiny is a romance/mystery. You laugh, you cry and can't wait for the next book. The Adventures of Anabel Axelrod series is better than the Stephanie Plum series.

I really love this series, I've read each Anabel book many times and still enjoy them. Adieu to Destiny doesn't disappoint, I just love Anabel and Luke Drake is still my book boyfriend! More Tracy, more!

absolutely love this entire series, I can honestly say no books have ever made me laugh as much. Once again Tracy didn't disappoint. Anabel reminds me so much of me and my friends, their expressions and stupid stuff they do. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!

Very funny, witty, sexy, suspenseful, & thoroughly enjoyable! I wish more families were this much fun. Tracy knows how to bring out the best in her characters. You want to know what happens next with Bel, Luke, family & friends alike. Really looking forward to the next book!

With every book I read, I love this series more. Adieu to Destiny has it all; humor, mystery, sex (not in a raunchy way), and a HUGE twist that will make this book not only impossible to put down, but unforgettable!

Another GREAT read
Once again Tracy Ellen has created a well written book of another adventure of Anabel's! There's mystery, lol humor, hot romance and a perfect unexpected ending to leave the reader begging for more in this series!

Oh Tracey, Tracey, what have you done to me, your books have hypnotised me, I can't get enough of Annabelle and Luke's steaming, sexy love story. From the perilous, mysterious escapades to the sultry, steaming hot passion and the flirtatious love and delicious mouth-watering food, this set of books has captured me from the very first page. From the moment I came across your first book I was totally smitten, every waking moment, morning until night I have raced through each book in the series. Tracey you have drawn me in so that I feel like I am one of Annabelle's sisters and I am living in her crazy, beautiful, hilarious world, sharing in the love and passion of their hot, ripped men and enveloped by the love and caring nanabel, the all seeing godmother, Jamie and sexist, opinionated police chief, Jack Banner. I love how luke interacts saucily with Annabelle and so envious of Annabelle's hilarious and flippant repartee and the banter with which all the family members have when they all get together. This series has spoilt me, it is a hard act to follow, how can I read and enjoy any other books written by any other author now Tracey?

This is the 4th book in the Anabel Axelrod series and I must say the story is finally getting interesting. Unfortunately, I find the numerous grammatical errors to be terribly distracting. There were some in the previous books, but in this one, it seems they decided to chuck proofreading right out the window. Sorry. That just bugs me.
I have found the story to be extremely slow moving. There is just so much extraneous crap going on and I find Anabel's inner dialogue to be grating on the nerves. I know. They are supposed to be humorous, but to me, they are just irritating.

Could have ended here
Ms. "Ellen of Troy" could have ended the series here, since she wrapped up key points. But I'm glad she didn't. Anabel is fun to "know." It'll be fun to see where she, Luke, Anna, Jazy, Tre J, Candy and the others end up next!

I just cannot get enough of these characters. I am trying to concentrate on writing this review but I can’t stop laughing as various scenes continue to play out in my head. So much happens throughout this installment, and Tracy is amazing at which storylines she concludes and which she carries over into the next book. I find it quite entertaining to try to guess each outcome because I am always wrong. I really look forward to what happens next.
Another aspect I love about each book in this series is that I feel every character gets the perfect amount of attention; there has not been one whom I felt needed more or less of it. It is also impossible to choose which character is my favorite because I adore them all. Jazy is ducking crazy and never fails to crack me up. Being inside Anabel’s head is my favorite place to be; it is like a having an outsider’s perspective into my own thoughts and actions since I relate to her so much. Although, I don’t think I would have the big hairy vagina to say the things she did during her interrogation; I would think them, but never be able to say them which only makes me love that girl more. Luke’s sexy self is going to be at the top of my book boyfriend list for a very long time. I don’t even like cops, but I have a developed a soft spot for Chief Jack.
If you are looking for crazy adventures, kooky characters, hot anaconda action, and moments where you will be laughing harder than you ever have while lounging around late at night, you must read Adieu to Destiny.

4 (or more) Sparky Stars. Anabel is officially one of my favorite book girlfriends. Luke is officially one of my favorite book boyfriends. Until this book.....
I am done...Done. Done. Done...with Luke. I mean it! I couldn't believe he could do the things he did in this book. He was a snake at one point in A Love by Design, but it was understandable. Certainly, Anabel figured out what was going on almost immediately. At least she thought she did, and she was right. This time? Yeah....Luke is beyond despicable. There is no way he can appropriately explain himself. Until he tries and then doubts set in. You'll just have to read Adieu to Destiny to find out how horrible a person Luke really is.
Anabel can't help herself from immediately jumping from one adventure into another. Why do all her adventures involve death, destruction, and mayhem?!?! Adieu to Destiny picks up right where A Love by Design left off. Anabel had Sparky securely on her finger and all was well in the world of Anabel and Luke. Well, that was until Anabel panicked and Sparky was taken off, just until their lives were out of danger. Then Luke had to go back to Chicago and Anabel started having nightmares. Or Lukemares. You'll discover that Anabel has some serious issues to get over. Then, Luke comes back to Northfield and he is a totally different person and obviously is moving on. What you won't believe is who he's moving on with.

The fourth volume in Anabel Axelrod's adventures does not disappoint as it's still full of exciting suspense, the hot romance between Anabel and Luke, and the humor of her thoughts and her interactions with her many family and friends. This book is heavily about potential and future babies, from the extreme desperation of one who wants to have a baby to Anabel's choice not to have any, and of course her dealings with her best friend and niece's pregnancies. There were also a lot of bridal showers. It seemed like the whole town threw Anna and/or Stella a shower and poor Anabel has to attend them all. Despite all the wackiness that goes on, Anabel is a sassy, smart, and genuine character that any reader would like to emulate or to be good friends with someone like her. I always learn something new, whether it's fighting/shooting/spying techniques, cosmetics, or healthcare. There is never a dull moment and always something to smile about in every chapter. I look forward to reading the next Anabel adventure and her romance with Luke.

Anabel and friends are on another hilarious adventure in this 4th installment. This is a laugh out loud, romantic comedy with a bit of intrigue. It picks up where the 3rd book left us, right after the proposal. Anabel and Luke put everything on hold to track down a murderer who could be threatening their happily ever after. Luke shockingly breaks Anabel's heart, and mine!! Sister Kenna makes an appearance, and the un-cousin comes to the rescue?!?! No Anabel adventure is complete without a ninja style rescue, and this one has a doozy that almost ends in death. Anabel has a quite a memorable way of flushing out the killer, that I found truly genius! I love these crazy characters and look forward to reading what happens next!

Another great read in Anabel Axelrod's adventures!
The stories in this series just get better and better...
I totally enjoy the tales of Anabel and Luke, and read almost straight through this one - much as I did with the others. I did try to pace myself since currently this is the last book in the series.
Murder, mystery, family, comedy, twists and turns, and steamy exchanges abound throughout the story. You just never know which direction the tale is turning. I found myself happy at one point, totally furious at another, then curious and racing through the pages. What a ride!
Absolutely cannot wait for book 5!!!

4th book in the Anabel Axelrod series and I have been waiting and waiting. I love Anabel and her mis-adventures. Her family is a crazy mess and she thinks she is a private investigator or ninja which cracks me up. Now I had to go back and reread almost have of book 3 to remember how that ended to ease into the start of this book. There is a lot jammed into this book. I just want to see Luke and Anabel together but maybe this is just the relationship they are destined to have. Great fun to read.

4.5 Stars. The antics of the Axelrod family and Anabel in particular leave me laughing - - - a lot! However, there was a twist (no. I won't tell you) that was so unexpected I quit reading the book for a day. I kept wondering 'how is Anabel going to deal with __________?' That incident was the ONLY reason I downgraded it to 4.5.
This was another fast-paced read. It was full of action and advances the story line of each character nicely. I like how each chapter begins with the date, time and song title. That's a clever touch. Now, how long do I have to wait for Book 5? :-)

What a Rollercoaster Ride
I laughed, cried, swoon and thought I was going to have to get Jazy on someone. This is the best of the series so far. I have come to feel that I am invited to Anabel's Sunday dinners. I feel that Anabel got a little piece of my soul when she found hers. The story has everything needed to make a great story. You have love, sexy, suspense and even puppy dog eyes. You do need to read the series in order to appreciate the storyline. But it is well worth it. I can't wait for book 5.

Hilarious
As with the rest of this series, this book was totally gloriously snarky and irreverent. Parts of it had me so shocked and furious I couldn't believe it, but then it would turn around and have me totally happy. I suppose in Annabel's world you never know what to expect. This is not a series for the easily offended or a series that can be read out of order, but if you think you can handle it, you should totally go for it! I know I'm addicted:-)

I was given this book as an ARC for an hones review and I have to say after reading the others in the series, that this one does not disappoint! I love this book:) What a hilarious treat! There are twists and turns but no spoilers here. The characters run true to form as we get to know them a little better and I hope this series never ends...lol I can't wait to see what they get into next!

Anabel, Anabel, you’ve hooked me again. Adieu to Destiny is fun, sexy and fresh. Excitement packed into a juicy romance that will have you honing your detective skills as the mystery builds. We learn to see things a different way from Anabel’s unique analytic view on relationships and situations. It’s laugh out loud funny and, Swear to God, this fourth installment to the Adventures of Anabel Axelrod is a great read!

I love Annabel. So many of the books I read end in marriage and baby. I love that Annabel does not want babies and being married is not her life goal. I hope she stays true to this in the rest of the series. Luke is hot and I love them together. Marriage some point down the road would be fine but please no baby. Not all woman need babies to make them happy and this series has been so refreshing for that and Annabel's quirky personality.

I won a set of this series from the author and I can not get enough! The first book took me some time to get into it but this journey keeps getting better and better.
Luke dumps Anabel in front of everyone, someone is trying to snuff Anabel out and she has lost all control over her life. Tracy Ellen acknowledges the conversations we all have in our heads AND has our Axelrod ninja actually expressing them.

Another outstanding book that I hated to end!
Just love, love, love the surprise ending! I did not see that coming. Can't wait for next in the series, What will become of un-cousin who now will be around more than ever? What about Jack and the snow plow boy's grandma who makes great cookies? I just can't wait to be in all their lives again!

The books that keep on giving. Plenty of mischief and adventure to keep you hooked and though Anabel is supposed to be "A different type of woman" I suapect many of us can actually relate to her many voices and quirky habits. Another fantastic read, brilliantly written. Loving every word.
