Shadows Eternal: Remnant Archives

Rate this book
A queen that soaks the lands in blood.

A shadow fae that dances with darkness.

A shifter that knows only echoes of time.

A world that may never survive it.

How far would you go to save the ones you love?

The Sanguine was once a thriving land flowing with sinister power, but now, cut off from the rest of Faerie, it is nothing but a frozen wasteland, a tomb long abandoned – until now. Thrown back into a world of darkness, intrigue, and blood, Remnant Ezra Solaire Dark, once a general now a goddess, seeks to finally complete what she failed to do one hundred years ago, end the former Queen of Faerie’s reign of terror. Banded together with her found family, only one thing stands in her way, her soulmate Emon.

In a desperate quest to free Emon from invisible enemies, and save the land of Faerie, Remnant and her family must battle powers beyond their understanding. Sinister creatures lurk in the darkness, hordes of original beasts rise up against them, and an unknown player in the games of fae enters, delivering a severing blow that threatens the bonds of love and friendship that fiercely tied them all together.

Except in the lonely darkness of adversity, Remnant knows this is when she is at her deadliest. For her shadows are starved for vengeance, and so are the fae joining her. With their future hanging in the balance, Remnant and Emon take on the threads of fate to forge a path into a new dawn…and an end neither of them saw coming.

✨Shadows Eternal✨

I truly don’t know how to put what this book is into words that will fully encompass the heartache, the depth, the vulnerability, the love, and the HEALING that is culminated in Shadows Eternal. It is hilarious. It is heartbreaking. It is equal parts romantic desperation and bad assery. All so vividly written that I saw it all.

We begin SE right where we left off after Shadows Ascend’s cliffhanger. This is a book that feels like your in the climax (*insert Tyr comment here*) the entire time- you are always on your toes, never trusting, biting your nails, screaming for change, hoping all is not lost. And yet despite the war and loss and impossible stakes, SE is also a found family of epic proportions, romance that is ETERNAL, spice that will entice your own spice life, and a journey of healing and acceptance in the wake of grief and hardship beside characters who love every flaw and perfection of each other.

Knowing a little about Bri’s own healing journey makes this series even more moving and I believe she represented it all in a way that encouraged vulnerability and a supportive and life-like environment despite the fantasy world it is in. She gives us all of the answers we’ve been hoping for in an intentional and whimsical way. She weaves destruction with banter and keeps us feeling every emotion as we rally with characters new and old, fight loss and heartbreak, experience new bonds and deeper friendships, and witness a romance that is held together by unconditional love.

Tropes you may find in SE are soulmates and bonds, found family, high stakes, fae and unique creatures, banter, medium-high spice, amnesia, “my wife”, possessive mmcs and fierce fmcs, shadow mommy, burnt cinna daddy, enemies to lovers, epic world building, grief and panic attack rep, comfort, and so much more!

Bri, I’m so proud of you. Thank you for letting me be a part of your ST and bother you with every play by play, question about chapter 68 and 22, and for listening to me cry. Love you 🫶

Stopping at 25% because it’s been a while since I read book 2 and 2.5. I have the memory of a goldfish so I feel like I’m missing a lot without remembering all events in prior books.

This book is quite the experience. It’s the final book in The Remnant Archives so really the whole series has been an incredible roller coaster and I’ve loved every bit of it.
The emotions are from one end of the spectrum to the other. B.K. Cavaleri has a special talent for not only ripping your heart out, but stomping all over the pieces before beautifully putting it back together even better.
So many things happen in this one but problems are resolved, questions are answered, real unconditional love endures and thrives, new love is found and so much growth.
If you love these tropes, you Must read this series.

This was my least favorite book in the series and not because of the writing per se, but because of what I personally look for in books.

It’s a great story throughout the series and I really enjoyed the last 15% of the book as it wrapped things up and teased what is to come in the universe.

But most of the book was aggressively sexual to me and I wasn’t a fan of quite a few of the relationships that were coming about. It was also very emotional. I’m not a hugely emotional person and I don’t like to talk about feelings constantly. This book was an almost nonstop discussion about feelings. Which I understand, because it shows the depth of the characters and their grief, but I got tired of it and unfortunately skimmed through most of it. Even happy feelings like love got a little over the top for me.

It’s definitely a charged book with an emotional ending! The author does not shy away from getting rid of characters and really trying to hit you where it hurts.

Book 3 — and what a damn journey it is. From the very first page, I was completely captivated. The bond between Remnant and Emon is eternal, a connection forged through loyalty, sacrifice, and a love that refuses to break. They fight for each other and for their found family with a ferocity that leaves you breathless.

And it’s not just their love that shines here — we’re given glimpses of other budding relationships woven throughout the story, each one had me falling in love with those characters 💗

This book is overflowing with action, intensity, and heartbreak — the kind that shatters you completely — yet somehow also delivers some of the most stunning expressions of love I’ve ever read. It truly tore my heart and soul to pieces, and I’ll be putting myself back together for a long time after this. 💔✨

I cannot recommend this book enough — and not just because it was dedicated to me 😏

If you’re looking for a story that pulls you in, breaks you open, and stays with you long after the final page… read this.

Quotes ❤️‍🔥

“Love conquers all Remnant Ezra Solaire Dark-and your love? It has always been too great for this world, but I was fucking born for it, made for it, I devour it, crave it, beg for it.”

“Tu es lux in tenebris meis. - You are the light in my darkness.”
“Domus mea es cum perditus sum. - You are my home when I am lost.”

“But this was Remnant’s world, and we just f***ing lived in it.”

Wouldn’t be a me review if I didn’t add in a quote from my fave side character 😉

“Just as I will never be gone from you. That air you breathe, terella? It is me. Every time you take that inhale, I bury deeper and deeper into you-into your soul. Like Rem, you’ll never be rid of me. We are one.”

Standby for review - let me settle my racing heart.

My biggest reading flaw is that I don’t like to finish book series because in my mind if I close the last page than the characters are no more. If I don’t read the final book the characters continue to exist and have adventures until I finally read the book. Knowing that this was going to finish up the story with the big bad and this leg of the story made it difficult for me to read the book.

This book is a wild ride from beginning to end while not shying away from hard or emotional topics. The whole gang is back together and ready to take on Deirdre and the Sanguine once and for all. It was a long, treacherous road for all of other faithful companions but they each bring something special to the group and their camaraderie is one of my favorite parts of the stories. The book does a wonderful job of displaying relationships romantic and platonic and how those relationships can shape and change a person. That fall into the wrong crowd can be detrimental while find the people that lift you up will bring you out of any self imposed exile and remind you of what is important in this world and the next.

The book took a moment to find its stride and once it does it does not let up until the end. There are moments of true joy and levity. There were times I wanted to launch my kindle across the room and moments I yelled at the characters for their impulsivity. I cried. I laughed. And in the end I felt that everything that happened, all the blood, sweat, and tears were worth every moment. Seeing all of the various characters that have made appearances in past books, all the acquaintances and friends that have been helped along the way coming back to lend a hand to save the land and the life they knew was perfect and I could think of no better way to serve the memories of all those lost and loved in the past books than to have then stand by Remnant’s side as she took once more to protect the weak and innocent. Emon will forever be the height of book boyfriend which not only his words but more so his actions. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for his lover and his daughter. A man that knows bearing his heart and soul is not a sign of weakness but of the utmost strength. Ethereal is the greatest sidekick of all time and he would eat me if he ever heard me say that. His own emotional battles and learning to forgive himself make him twice the person he was and and even better friend to Emon.

Tyr and in all his cherry and licorice deliciousness will forever be my favorite. There is something about a man that can feel everything around him but be strong and goofy that calls to me every time. Riley and Xi are the perfect yin and yang. Him the silly, goofy air elemental and her the stoic yet sweet earth elemental make a perfect one two punch, especially when she joins in on his jokes.

The ending is a master class in how to piss off an entire fandom and then reel them back in with a nice pat on the head and a lollipop to make the heartache ease just a fraction. I could do nothing but smile as I closed the last page ready and excited for what is yet to come.

I could rave forever but I would rather you read the books. This series will forever be near and dear to my heart as will the person who wrote it. May the shadows keep you safe 💙 Amici Anime

Remnant Archives is a series that has held my attention since book 1. BK Cavaleri knows how to draw her audience in and hold their attention through fantastic storytelling, descriptive world building, and character development that makes it easy for readers to care about their journeys. Each book takes you deeper into the world and conflicts that started in book 1 and now within book 3, Shadows Eternal, we are immersed back into this wonderful universe. But be warned, you will slide through the entire spectrum of emotions with this book and BK will still leave you unwell at the end.

Picking right up where book 2 ended, you are immediately thrown into the drama and heartache that BK left us with months ago. I was immediately invested in finding out what is happening with our band of characters, while staying aware that there are twists and turns still coming that I will not be ready for. And yet, everything that happens within this book, some things remain true and steadfast. The found family that has been created is one of the best I have ever read. The depth that they care for each other and the lengths they are willing to go knows no bounds. I wanted to celebrate with them, grieve with them, and love them.

The romance that has been woven across 3 books just keeps getting deeper, stronger, and spicier. While there is so much destruction happening, there is always a ray of hope staked in the middle of BK’s stories. This is what kept me reading when things seemed broken and unattainable. Getting to know her through social media, I can see some of BK’s own healing journey being written into this story and it is done so beautifully.

If you have not started this series or started and decided to not continue, I implore you to pick it up and read it. You will be swept away to a beautiful universe that never stops fighting. You will discover a love that gives you hope for tomorrow. You will discover characters that don’t know the meaning of the word quit. This entire series has been a total joy to read, despite the heartache that it has given me. I can’t wait for book 4 and to see where BK takes me next!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

This book all 839 pages of it is a freaking masterpiece from beginning to end.

Did it break me? Yess.
Did it build me back up? Also yess.
Would I change anything? Absolutely not. I’d read it again and ohh yess I will.

After the first two books and the novella, I was more than ready to jump into this one. The ending of book two nearly gave me a heart attack, so I was desperate to see what would happen next. And let me tell you, this book takes you on a wild, emotional, beautiful rollercoaster. I felt everything humanly possible. I cried ugly tears, hopeful tears, relieved tears. I laughed, swooned, fanned myself like the full emotional spectrum. This book has it all.

It’s hard to say much without spoiling anything (and I refuse to spoil it), but what I can tell you is that it’s absolutely amazing. Our favourite found family is back, and their banter is still everything. Their dynamic, loyalty, and love for one another continue to shine through in every page. And the spice… oh, the spice. Hot as sin. The altar scene and the shadowplay? Hands down my favourites.

B.K. Cavaleri delivers it all stunning storytelling, rich world-building, and pacing that’s tighter than a nun’s ass (yes, I’m channeling my inner Tyr here). The emotion, the tension, the depth it’s perfection. There aren’t many books that can make me ugly cry the way this one did, but god, I loved it. Every single page.

And the ending? Well babes, you’ll have to go through it yourself to see… but let me tell you one thing straight: get a box of chocolate cake and a pile of tissues ready.

There’s only one thing left to ask you. What do you do when the darkness comes? Do you hide or do you run?

Thank you, Bri, for this ARC and for trusting me with such a powerful, beautiful story. I can’t wait to see where you take us next.

I knew this book was gonna be absolutely amazing and B.K. is an absolute master at storytelling. I was so excited to get back to Faeirie and reunite with characters that feel like family. She wrote a world so intense and rich you cannot help be drawn into. I think i went through every emotion In this book and honestly thats an understatement. The plot is so gripping and leaves no stone unturned. We see a different side of Rem in this book and i thought it was done in such a way you could feel her every thought and emotion as you turned the page. The story is fast paced and will have you on the edge of your seat filled with so much intrigue and passion. B.K. consistently provides delightful humor in her books, and the found family's playful arguments are particularly enjoyable. Let me not forget to add in how hot this book was the altar, the shadow play. You better get some water and rehydrate cause B.K. is here to quench your desires. Remnant and Emon will always hold a special place in my heart; the love they share embodies the aspirations we all have, showing the importance of perseverance through any circumstance. I think I cried more times in this book than I can count this story this series is so beautiful crafted. I could go on and on about this book and how absolutely phenomenal it is. I probably highlighted most of the book. It is my favorite from the series. I hope you take a chance on it i promise this series is a gold nugget you are missing out on especially if you are a fan of dark fantasy. This world, these characters, mean so much to me and it’s a bittersweet feeling.

I'm not going to lie this one hurt like hell but I loved every second of it. What can I say? The most painful books are always my favorites. The sadder the better.
You don't want to know how many times I cried.
I was sobbing by just going through my highlights.

It felt so good to be back in this world with all my favorite characters.

Shadows Eternal picked up right where book two ended. It's a story full of loss, sacrifices and hartbreak but it's also full of love, laughter and hope.

Remnant and Emon showed us that love is not a weakness if you find the right people to share your love with, it becomes our greatest strength.

The found family aspect is one of my favorite things in this series. Emon truly is the collector of lost souls and he found the most beautiful souls to build his own family with.

We got to see a lot more of the side characters this time and I loved to learn more about all of them. All of these characters went through so much and it was bittersweet to see them find happiness even in the darkest times.

I already shared some of my favorite quotes in my post but here are three more, just because I highlighted so much and I can't choose:

✨"Don't forget, I am the air you breathe."

✨"No capture, no games, no surrenders, no sacrifices. You k!ll them all."

✨"Your greatest strength is feeling, Remnant Dark. Show me the beauty in what's broken. But know this. Whole, shatterred, glued together, strung by a single thread, nothing but jagged wreckage that cuts deep, whatever way you choose to be, it never makes you weak."

A big thank you to the amazing and beautiful B.K. Cavaleri for the opportunity to read the story in advance. 💜

“ I was death. I was life, I was darkness that could love light or destroy it. I was the beginning and the end, and this time.. it would be the end.”

“The world stood still as I controlled death, I was the reaper, I was deaths beckoning call, I was the goddess of souls, and I was a fae of my word.”

Oh wow. This entire series had my entire soul in a chokehold. I screamed. I cried. I raged beyond repair. For the entire series. When I say I cried, I mean I sobbed for basically the majority of this book and it was worth it every single second of heartbreak and pain was worth it even when I wanted to throw my kindle across the room when I finally made it to the end it was worth it. This woman has a way with words and it is beyond my wildest dreams the world that she created and brought me into. Rem and Emon their love transcended everything I’ve ever known. I have read about so many couples, I have loved so many couples and this couple had me on such a soul deep level I was wailing. I was falling apart at the seams. I mean I absolutely have no words other than this was such a masterpiece because I was transported into another world that I felt I was right there with the characters. I don’t know if I will ever come out of it. When rem broke at the end I broke with her. All of the characters hold a place in my heart. This story holds a place in my heart. I am so glad we are going to get more. Just trust me. It’s a soul transforming journey.

“Having a world without you is no life at all. You are the peace in which all my monsters are kept at bay, the joy that makes fighting for you the greatest accomplishment of my life.”

It’s that time again! Another @cavaleri.archive.author book that ripped my soul in two. When I say you will never find a series better than this one, I mean it. I have never cried, laughed, been so angry at a book than this one. I am in a swirling pit of devastation now that this series is over.

First, fuck me. Like please, Emon, I’m right here waiting.

Secondly, this book was so beautifully written it’ll stay with me forever. The usual Cavaleri twists and turns, pain and witty humour woven in every page that leaves you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

It is pure heartbreak wrapped up in a nice little package of spice, trauma and deep, intense love not only for the main characters but for the friendships and family forged. There are no side characters here, every single one I love with my entire being and sobbed for, laughed with, mourned. And goddess damn it, I am in mourning.

We had wild adventures, battles won and lost, humour when we needed it most, and the hottest shifter daddy and shadow mommy you could ask for. Such stunning storytelling from one of the best authors this generation will ever see. You will see, feel, even fucking smell everything they do.

Bravo, Bri. Even now I’m tearing up that it’s over. I love you. And your books. I can’t wait to see what you do next 😘

Finding the right words for a review of Shadows Eternal after finishing it is extremely difficult since I am at a loss for them. The Remnant Archives have a special place in my heart and soul for their depth and sincerity. Shadows Eternal was no different.

Shadows Eternal was similar and also strikingly different from all that came before. There was unimaginable heartbreak. There was unyielding love. There was sacrifice, solemnity, and serenity. There was more than I could have ever anticipated.

Shadows Eternal rocked me to my core, and left me reflecting upon my own life. It forced me to look inwardly at all the times I told myself I wasn’t good enough, smart enough, right enough. It left me with the realization that I do not always require light to my darkness because the right people (the people that accept me as I am) will help me find peace in the darkness that rages within. It caused me to come to terms with myself in a way I had not been ready to as I was too afraid to face the reflection I would see. But, as Rem would say, “may you always accept who you are in your reflection.”

I am still reeling from the loss and the love experienced in this book. The pain from the characters became pain I felt so deeply. I am still processing through the shock of those we lost and the way it ends. And, despite how heavy the ending feels, I look forward to whatever B.K. writes in their story next.

I am still crying over that ending, and I can’t decide if I’m happy or sad at how devastating it was that then got somewhat turned around! I got attached to so many of these characters after 3 books and I am grieving them right along with the other characters but I am still excited to see where this goes for the next book based on the ending!

This book picks up right where the last left off, with the end of their world hanging in the balance, and our MMC overtaken with his memories distorted and wanting to kill his friends and mate. Our FMC must do everything she can to help bring back the man she loves, all while trying to complete the impossible task of saving their world against and protecting her found family and daughter.

This book was full of plenty of tension between the MMC and FMC even if he believed the horrible things he’d been tricked about her, and banter and urges to save her he couldn’t overcome. There was lots of battles and teaming up with old players from previous books that kept me on the edge of my seat! I am still so devastated by some of the losses of characters but was also surprised by some of them who survived. I loved the expanded found family and how some of the side characters also began to find their mates and who they should be with. This book tore my heart out and also put it back together again several times and I cannot wait for the next one! Overall my rating 4.7/5!

Thanks to the author for the gifted ARC, all opinions given are my own!

Especially, opening up my heart and fallen irrevocably in love with Rem and Emon and their little cub. Going through the trauma, the heart aches, the uncontrollable pain of crying and mourning, or full out giggling.

My Wife
She saves him
Sacrifice
Forced Proximity
Enemies to Lovers
Amnesia
Rebirth
Shadow Mummy
Shifter Daddy
My beloved little family

And flaming heck, B.K, it felt like you put your hand in my heart and ripped it out in moments in this book. I thought, I would never recover. The found family moments, with the banter and sassy, laughter was what healed me along the way. How you poured your entire self, heart and soul really and truly into this book and the representation that was highlighted in during the how book made me emotional. It truly took a piece of my heart and will be a favourite series of mine for years to come.. I can't wait to see your journey more and what you write more with

Thanks you for expressing love in circumstances versions and adapting and accepting of a person and their thoughts and feelings. It's hard to carry guilt, love, loss, the low feelings of not wanting to carry on but people rely and love you. Even in the truly dark moments there is light in the people who love you and you can accept help without losing your self.

*I received an E-ARC of this book for free in exchange for an honest review* - Thank you @cavaleri.archive.author!

Shadows Eternal is book 3 in a dark romantasy series and you do need to read them in order. This book made me the most emotional out of all of them so far, it destroyed me and I have still not recovered. B.K. skillfully plays with the reader’s emotions, putting you through an emotional roller coaster that takes you through the story while you’re dangling and holding on for dear life but you don’t dare let go because the pain is worth it. Read this book if you need to see love, platonic and romantic, overcome all barriers. Knowing how much of herself that B.K. puts into the story only made me feel deeper and connect with the characters even more. You get so attached to the characters and invested in the story that you forget they aren’t real, even though some of the struggles they go through and pain they experience are real life issues. Cancel all plans before you start reading because you will not be able to do anything but read and then take a few days to recover, or at least attempt to. If you enjoy romantasy, bada$$ FMCs, and queer rep, you have to read this series!

Get excited to read Shadows Eternal, available October 28! 🎉

Shadows Eternal by B.K. Cavaleri is book 3 in the Remnant Archives by the author. This is a dark fantasy with moderate/high spice in the pages, so if you like that you will love this book!

Touch Her and Die
Shadow Mommy
Shifter Daddy
Soulmates
My wife
She saves him
Enemies to lovers
Found family
Eternal love
Love story through time

There is a short introduction in the beginning of the book that goes over the story thus far so you will not need to read the previous books, but you definitely should to get more out of the story as with any book series of course. There are three characters that the story goes between: Remnant, Ethereal, and Emon. The story continues for our characters after the last book with the cliffhanger in Shadows Ascend. Read that book and find out what happens up until this point. There is a lot of heartache as we pick up the story with Remnant and Emon, be warned. I love this kind of love, where you have no bounds and you will do anything for the other person. There is a tremendous amount of spice in this book as well between the characters so you will love this as you get more and more immersed in the author's world! You need to read this entire series y'all! I can not wait for the next book in this series and will also be reading all the books up till this one!

Shadows Eternal is a dark romantasy. It’s book three in Remnant Archives series. B.K. Cavaleri has done amazing with this series. I fell in love with the way she wrote Shadows Eternal. I love the tropes for this book.

• Enemies to Lovers
• Amnesia
• Rebirth
• My Wife
• She Saves Him
• Sacrifice
• Forced Proximity

I love the world she built, the characters. She was a thick book but I loved it. I was loving the map, I’m a sucker for a book with a map. The character art was simply beautiful. You become invested heavily in the characters. The emotions you go through while reading were intense. There were so many favorite parts within the book. I don’t think I can pick just one. I cannot wait to see what in store for the next book.

This is a dark fantasy romance with themes of language, violence, gore, sexual assault, themes of bound captivity/torture, and premise of infertility complications. For readers 18+.

Thank you so much to Luna Literacy and the author for the eARC!

Every once in a while, you stumble across a book that leaves you completely speechless, and this is one of those.

Prepare yourself: this story will shatter your heart, make you cry, yell, and maybe even throw the book across the room, and yes, I might have done all of these things! But don’t give up and keep on reading, every tear(s) and gasp(s) is worth it. It all comes together in an amazing story of love, loss, and resilience. Working together toward a shared goal and putting aside differences, is at the heart of this book. To defeat the Sanguine, everyone must stand together, no matter the cost.

I can’t say enough about Rem and Emon’s relationship. The way they love and protect their daughter, Riella, through everything is beautiful. And Emon’s dynamic with Ethereal? They may clash often, but at the end of the day, they agree on what’s most important to them!

This isn’t the end of the series, and we get just a tiny glimpse of what’s next to come, and I cannot wait to see where it all goes next.

After the events of book 2 left me absolutely reeling, I wasn't sure how Remenant and the crew would come back. Cavaleri made these characters so real. The emotional journey I went on with every one of them will live in my heart for a long time to come.

This beast of a book covers so, so much. And it's still so insane to me that books 1, 2 and 3 ONLY span 4 weeks 😅

The story of Rem and Emon is so beautiful, add in a little princess to their found family and it's happily ever after! Or is it?

Not only do we get one big bad in Shadows Eternal, we get two! The book is divided into two parts, where one is vanquished in part one....and then the real battle begins.
This book was a true emotional rollercoaster for me. I have really come to love the characters B.K. has created. Yes, this is a HEA but there is no happiness without loss, or better put, we value the happiness more after the loss.

I laughed, was angry, bitter, and cried my heart out reading this book.
Definitely recommend.

Be sure to read books 1,2, and 2.5 prior to book 3 otherwise you won't get it 😜

I don’t think I’m the target audience for this book which is my own fault for not carefully reading the description.

I’m still rating the book 4 stars because all the elements of what makes a great story for me are 100% there. The descriptions in the book were amazing. Great banter among the characters & very well written spice. The side character’s were hilarious, perfect example of found family.

It’s also book 3 in the series so if I would’ve done my due diligence I think I would’ve enjoyed the story more starting from the beginning. I did buy book one and plan to try it out next. It is a long book, but I feel like all the parts of the story were important. I did feel emotion for the characters when a certain things happened. I loved sweet Riella.

I reccomend checking this series out for romantasy lovers.

Thank you Luna for the ARC!

My thoughts:
I have been struggling to put into words how this book made me feel. It was so good! It picked up where the last one left off, with Emon now struggling to recall his memories and the battle against the Sanguine. This was an emotional rollercoaster, it shattered my heart and mended it repeatedly.
I adore the found family dynamic and the banter that healed me between heart wrenching moments. This book has everything: action, sacrifice, found family, and undying love.
The character development is incredible, making me feel deeply connected to the characters, especially Rem. This story showcases the power of surrounding yourself with people who bring light to your darkness. The ending provided a sense of closure, but also hinted at what's to come. I can't wait for the next story B.K. Cavaleri writes! ✨

Check trigger warnings!!

May the shadows keep you safe.

Thank you for the early copy! 🫶🏼

Blood and death ravage the land but the Shadows seek vengeance.

Fight for hope, fight for freedom, fight for the ones you love.

Your darkness is your power and your strength.

Shadows Eternal is a feral wild emotional roller coaster that will leave you speechless and eternally devoted to Remnant Dark.

BK Cavaleri's expansive world building and captivating storytelling will hold you hostage from beginning to end. With classic tropes of faded mates, enemies to lovers, and touch her and you 💀 you will also find an extensive list of various creatures and references to Irish folklore.

If you liked ACOTAR then you will fall completely in love with the Remnant Archives.

Thank you Luna Literary and BK Cavaleri for gifting me with an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book delivers in all aspects of romantic, world building, character development. I’m not necessarily giving it a 5 star only because I read this book first before I went back and read the other books because I was a bit lost an that is entirely my fault, but never the less it still delivered. Am I recommending this book to others? Yes. Everyone should give this entire series a try because it doesn’t disappoint.

I will definitely be going back to rereading from the very beginning.

I genuinely enjoyed this book. The description and the world building was amazing. The characters were so well done that their description in your mind was exquisite. I love when an author takes the time to not only write a story, but to feel it. And that’s what B. K. Cavaleri did this with one. In reading, I’m fully immersed, and I’m standing right next to them experiencing the world as if it were my own.
This book has twists Ava turns and chaos galore. Romance, heartbeat, healing, and of course spice. It was the absolute perfect read. I loved every minute of of this. Thank you for allowing me to be an ARC reader for this amazing book.

~My chest rattled with fury while my blood seethed with regret, it was all I could manage as her power incapacitated me, covering me in a red film. I wanted to deny her words but I had no voice.~

I’m sorry to my other reads but… this is my absolute favorite of the year! The entire series is a MUST read. It starts with the author’s amazing profoundness and each page continues to capture your attention. Thank you for the arc!

I… think this is my favorite out of all of the Remnant Archives. Do I dare say that? The heartache in this book particularly hurts more than anything.

If you LOVE:

sacrifice
dark fantasy
forced proximity
enemies to lovers.

Pick up the entire series to read. Please and thank you. Much love to Mrs. Cavaleri 💕

thank you for the ARC but bitch what in the entire fuck. 😭😭😭 I loved this book with my entire heart. UNTIL YOU KILLED EMON. but I digress, I am loving the character development throughout these books and how grown up Riella already is for just being 7. I am so glad that you gave me the opportunity to read another book from you and I cannot wait until there is a book four so I can see how Remnant and emon navigate their new life together, how Riella grows as a Queen and also to see how she got captured and what transpired from there.

thank you again

Where do I actually begin with this one?! Bri took me on such an emotional journey that its so hard to put into words. The journey Remnant and the rest of the gang went through was definitely an emotional one, Riella is literally so so cute and watching her grow up so quickly in such a short space of time makes my heart happy🥹
I absolutely love this found family, I am forever grateful to be a part of Bri's team and being able to love all of her characters as much as she does, especially my Ethereal😏
I can't wait to see where we go next in this journey Bri is taking us on👀

What. The. Fu-

This was insane. A fucking roller coaster of emotions - and I might be biased, but the afterword broke me (it’s not a might be - I am biased - that’s my wife in the afterword)

The character arcs. The story. The loss. The emotion that went into this book - it broke me, and I tell no lies when I tell you I cussed out the author - in her DM’s - multiple times.

Just. Done. Cooked. Finished.
Fuck.
