If they want my blood, they're going to have to walk through hell to get it. And I'll be the devil waiting to collect their souls... Betrayal escalates, hearts are entangled in fate's mistakes, and life as they know it shifts into a whirlwind of controversy. Blood becomes a weapon of war, a means to an end. And the life Aria has threatens to vanish before her eyes the second she finally starts to live. The war within herself is only overshadowed by the war going on around her. It all closes in. All hell breaks loose. And everything they thought they knew is shattered by the truth.
This book had more twists and turns than the other two. I was fairly gripped by what was going to happen next. Jase was definitely my favourite character. Needs another proof reading.
"The name is Hale. Captain Hale Ericson." I think I just died. Eek!! :D I just loved this book. Now I want another one to see what happens with Keela and Hale :D :D :D :D

I have been obsessed with C.M. Owens books since I first found her Cursed trilogy. I have read everything she has written and I still can't get enough. Keep the amazing characters coming!!! If you haven't read her books, do yourself a favor and download asap. You won't regret it.
Really enjoyed this trilogy. I read the previous series some time ago and it was nice to revisit the world CM Owens created. There's plenty of energy and mostly great tempo though book 2 had some drag and I paused book 3 and read an entirely different book. It worked out really well because when I came back to finish this book I had rejuvenated interest. This series is built around a kind of futuristic/fantasy world where people have evolved with certain abilities like mind reading and ability to see the further. However it stemmed from some irreversible human action that caused the changes. Then there is divided ideology with some people trying to create the best DNA version. Well this sounds way too complicated but it played out well with the author's imagination. Basically a crisis that could destroy the world but brings a couple together who fall in love while they work to save everyone.
I absolutely loved this entire series. Amazing writing. If you’re a fan of paranormal/fantasy books, you must read this entire series. Over the past 6 books, I’ve become immersed in this extraordinary world, and I LOVED IT. The final installment answered some questions I’ve had for all of Aria’s books, and resolved almost everything quite well. I love Simone- I think she was the most under-appreciated character, but I’d love to hear more about her. This world has endless possibilities for spin-offs and alternate tales, so I hope that comes to fruition!
In this series, we read POV from many characters, and the epilogue, which wasn’t labeled, had me confused for a second, and I thought Aria had changed her taste and into women 😂. Anyway, I would love to have another spin-off to the series for Hale Ericson, and it would be nice if Brazen and Araya have offspring 😉.
Overall, the story plots were almost similar to the Curse trilogy, but I felt like it was an improved version, and I liked it a lot. The author had wrapped the story nicely with a happy ending for all characters. Just one thing, though, I would have loved if Alice made a different choice.
So I was not really impressed with the Cursed Trilogy, but I loved Aria in these books. So much has evolved in this gifted world. I would have liked to have seen Alice make a better chose at the end.
Aria has a big heart for those around her and wants everyone to find happiness, it shows when she gives Captain Frocks a surprise regardless of what he did.
As always, story well told. Suspense, love, twists and turns and finally a happily ever after. Side note, quick chuckle with the very last 2 sentences. Brilliant and can’t wait for more
One of my favorite authors . Loved this series. The only problem I had was sone misspelled words . The first book was a little confusing . Really needed a page to explain the different types of people . Hybrids , full bloods etc. all in all , a good read .
I haven’t read many vampire stories before, so this was an interesting trilogy. Characters were likeable, but not loveable. Lots of action (both in the bedroom and fighting), and some interesting plot twists. Overall a 4/5.
Fantastic!! I loved this trilogy more than the first one and that is super hard to admit because I loved it as well!!!! Wow I can't get over this amazing trilogy!!!
Just an amazing series all the way around. I was happy to see the characters I loved from the Cursed series and they all had roles in this series but not to much to take away from Aria's story. The writing is amazing, such a fresh original take on vamps. I really hope Owens expands this series cause the world is crazy good. More people need to read these. This series has quickly became one of my fav series. Tons of action, suspense and very adult reading.
Get ready for a roller coaster of emotions. Death, destruction, savages, new counters and so many revelations and discoveries will keep you glued to this book unable to put it down. This series was incredible. I love this series but I always struggle to write a review because I just can't formulate words to write and describe what an amazing book it is. Just know you won't be disappointed and like all her books it will blow you away.
Loved this book. I loved that aria was able to overcome her destiny and be with who she chose to be with. I first read this book a long time ago and have been anxiously waiting for the book mentioned at the end to come out. I hope it still happens one day as this is one of my favorite CM series.
While I enjoyed the last book in this series and held my attention, I feel it was predictable. I believe the story could have been 4* if the author worked more with the story line then to conveniently change everything to give the MC everything that she wants because she wills it so.
I loved this book to bits. It was the best ever possible ending and I wish it would carry on. Though, I should just probably reread it for that matter. Ha-ha.
C. M. Owens is the best author ever. I love all books she's written, especially the supernatural sprinkled romances. Damn.
Yet another amazing read from C.M.Owens! She is by far my favorite paranormal author and I just love her Gifts Trilogy! If you want a different twist on vampires this is the series to read..I would recommend the Cursed trilogy first since this is a continuance from that series!
This story was a great ending to the series. I love the HEA and the nice twist in the epilogue! I'm hopeful that the author will develop more stories with this cast of characters.
Freaking awesome! I love they way C.M. Owens make the women feminine yet not damsel in distress and totally kickass! From the looks of the epilogue there could possibly be another trilogy?! Gosh I hope so! Great job C.M.!
Five intense stars! CM Owens is a fabulous author. She has a wonderful ability to create plots that continuously keep a story interesting and the reader engaged. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and recommend it as a good read.
Fate, destiny, savages, counters, ‘blood-screws’, demanding obstacles, epic battles, and so much more! The conclusion of the trilogy doesn’t disappoint! I wish Owens would finish all her amazing works!
Between Aria, Jase, Kellan, Simmone, not to mention Araya!? I don't think this Trilogy could've ended better! I laughed, I cried, I screamed "hell yea!" at the top of my lungs! Great read!
I loved this trilogy. This was one of the most satisfying endings that I have read yet. This C.M. Owens has a gift of storytelling like no one else. She hooks you in and holds you, hostage, until you finish the ride. Amazing.
