C.E. Hansen writes mystery thrillers. Her formula of combining suspense and mystery with erotica has proven to have tremendous appeal.

C.E. wrote her first romance novel at age fourteen when she discovered writing about boys and girls was way easier than actually having a relationship of her own. Since that time, her communication skills haven't improved, but she likes to think her writing has. After earning an associates degree in literature from WC, she has worked in a bus company, a law office, and a wine/gourmet food shoppe, but has never abandoned her love of writing.

She's a proud mother of a beautiful daughter who is newly married, and currently lives in New Jersey with her husband, and if she's not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to chocolate.

C.E. Hansen's debut novel IT'S A CRIME was released May 2013, her follow up novel IT'S A SHAME, was released November 11th, 2014, followed by ACT ACCORDINGLY, EVER, SARAH and WHERE I FOUND MY HEART (a novella). Her newest novel, FAITHLESS, diverges from normal genre as it is a dark crime mystery.

C.E. also writes under the pseudonym C.E. O'Brien for her young adult series, Hero. The first installment UNLIKELY HERO is also available on Amazon.

If you want to read more posts like this one or follow her insane journey to debut authorhood, you can find her here...indulging in her passions...whether they be writing or eating chocolate...

Words cannot describe how much I love this book!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would!! I have read all of the author's books and she just keeps getting better. I could not put this book down I just had to know what happened and if Brad was as perfect as he seemed (sorry no spoilers you need to find out for yourself!) I just love Sarah's sense of humor and corniness! I love her witty quick comebacks! And let me tell you this author knows how to write a sex scene!!! This book is a must read!!

Ever,Sarah is the third book I've read by C.E Hansen in the scant three months since I've been introduced to her writing. I loved her romance mystery series Blood and Tears. She gave us a story featuring a HOT alphaman and a sophisticated young woman. In this 2 book series, we also got a mystery where the villain's' intentions were pretty clear cut. With Ever,Sarah, we can't be sure we have a hero and heroine, and we are left doubly uncertain if there is a villain and what if anything they could want. The story is really well-crafted, built on our main characters amnesia and her quest to try to find out who she was and who she is.

I loved getting to know Sarah as she was trying to comprehend her life prior to the accident that left her hospitalized. Her fiance Brad has all the answers but she is so uncertain if she should trust him, and so are we. Everything is entirely from her perspective and she has some odd doubts. Surely her life couldn't be as perfect as it seems, right? As she’s looking for clues ( including reading through her own diaries), and she’s trying to reason through her situation, she starts to question her instincts. It made me wonder what instincts are without full full context, without knowing one's history with certainty. Experience helps us to build that knowledge that creates that gut feeling, so what do you do without it.

But for Sarah, nothing is certain. She has rare moments where she actually flashes to a memory that helps solidify who she was. And from Sarah's perspective, all she has is Brad “telling her “ how she is, that she’s corny and what her favorite foods are. There’s no way to prove him wrong. If there is one thing she trusts, one thing she embraces, it's her physical reaction to Brad. There are some wonderful moments where this aspect of their connection helps her through some of her anxieties. That is until she encounters a stranger who flips the world as she knows it upside down and back again.

From this point on, her anxiety doubles and so did mine. I had no idea what to feel or what I should hope for her. Sarah now has to question everything she’s learned about herself from Brad and her mother. The confusion throws her reasoning skills off balance so that with even the most obvious examples that something is off, she can’t find it in herself to question the situation. It’s a very clever thing the author does, leading us to draw conclusions on behalf of Sarah.

Although the book released in late 2014, it is easily among my favorite mystery romance reads this year. I’m fascinated by amnesia and although it’s a great set up tactic to create a mystery, it takes a well thought out storyline and great characters to pull it off successfully. 5 Stars and recommendation!

I have read all of C.E Hansens books and she knows how to write good books! I love a sexy thrilling book and this book if fantastic. She has a excellent plot and you just can't put the book down! There are included some steamy scenes in the book that are "tasty" and at the right moment, so it doesn't feel like you are reading porn.
I fell in love with the people in the book, and I couldn't put the book down before I knew who did what and what happened. I love Sarah's humor and Bradleys charm, I also love the people around Sarah that C.E has included.

I love how Sara get some insight in her life before the accident by reading her diary. When you read some of the things in the diary you try to figure out what happened and if she will ever figure out. And what will happen, will she ever remember? That was some of the thing I was thinking about when I read this book. You just want her to get a happy ending, but how and will she? Is Bradley the man he says he is or is he hiding something? What about the strange man she meets?

Where is the "Ever, Sarah" from?

You just have to buy this book, thats the only way to get the answers !

If you love sexy, thrilling reads "Ever Sarah" is a MUST! C.E. Hansen has a talent that is unmatched by any other author I've read recently. Her stories weave complex characters and mind blowing plots that leave you unable to put her books down. She also always makes sure to include steamy scenes at just the right moments so that you're always breathless, for one reason or another.

Something terrible has happened to Sarah but she doesn't know what. After waking up in the hospital with no recollection of who she is or how she came to be there, she finds clues to her identity and her life in her diary. Her own words seem foreign to her but they are all she has to rely on since something inside her is telling her she can't trust even the people in her life that claim to love her. When a stranger introduces himself and tells her things she isn't sure she can believe, Sarah has to figure out if her life was the happy one her husband is trying to help her remember or if he's trying to cover up something horrible.

Just whoa. It won't be an overstatement when I say Ever, Sarah had me gripping the pages so hard until the very end. It's one of those books that really have you going, and just when you thought you have it all figured out, it'll throw you off your feet.

So it's never a good thing to wake up in a hospital, add the fact that you apparently were in a coma for a couple of weeks, and the best (or worst) news is that you have no recollection of anything about the accident and/or your past. The whole out of body experience, the depersonalization, all of it went on Sarah's head. In a way, it was a good thing her family stuck with her, though it only added more confusion when she learns that she's engaged to be married to a virtual stranger. Being told of what you were, who you were, and how you were pre-accident, it was a whiplash for her as if people know her better than herself.

I give props to the author for depicting such mystery to the whole story. For basically the whole time, I seem to have developed a distrust towards everyone around Sarah. Heck, even I distrusted her! I've learned my lesson of not getting too lax about what's going on, and yet I was still caught off-guard with everything that happened.

Needless to say I had a love-hate, trust-distrust going on with Brad. I mean, nowhere in history of stories did it ever been a smooth-sailing story that such handsome fellow is downright innocent. There's bound to be deeper stories within their facade.

And just when I thought I had it figured out, and for a while I did, but it didn't diminish the fact that I was blown away what has happened. It was truly a pity that it was ending because it was that great. Sure, there were still questions, but fair enough.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports

Ever, Sarah is a romantic suspense thriller by C.E. Hansen about Sarah. Sarah is in a terrible accident that leads to her waking up in the hospital with no memory of her life or anyone in it. She meets Brad her fiancé and her mother and tries so hard to regain her memories which at times does come back in flashes. Flashes and heightened senses lead Sarah to be on edge knowing that something is not right. That something terrible could have happened to her. Can she trust Brad or is Brad hiding something sinister from her? Is her Mom being honest with her? Who can she trust? What really happened??

I loved this book. I loved Sarah. The book is so well written you feel like Sarah is one of your dearest oldest friends. I love when she reads her diary and we get peeps back into the life she and Brad had from the time they meet. Brad is funny, charming, and takes such good care of Sarah. He treats her like a queen and cherished the life they have together. Ever, Sarah is a fast paced thrill ride that grabs you from the first chapter and doesn't let go till the end. I found myself truly holding my breathe and rooting for Sarah. Yelling at her to look out. You know how you do when you love the characters and see what's coming before they do. I literally caught myself holding my breath at times.

If you like your romance with a edge this is the book for you. I'm thrilled I got to read it. I loved everything about it and can't wait to read more books by C.E. Hansen.

My second read of one of CE Hansen's books and once again I wasn't disappointed. If you want a mystery, with a bit of spice thrown in, and a lot of misdirection then you'll enjoy this book. Its a slow burner for the first part but that just sets up the rest of the book for a very explosive ending.
Imagine for yourself how it would be for you to come out of a coma and then remember,....absolutely nothing. Who do you trust, who do you believe, who was responsible for you being in a coma in the first place, or was it a terrible accident. CE mixes up all these dilemma's and turns in a terrific story which will have you flicking your reader faster and faster until all is revealed.

Poor Sarah was in an accident that almost killed her. As a result she was left in a coma and had no memory of who she is/was when she wakes up. This is the story of her fight to remember who she is and to regain the upper had on her own life. She is the victim that must solve the mystery that is her own life. Also is Brad truly her fiance and in love with her or is there a ulterior motive? All she knows is that something is wrong. She doesn't even know if she can trust her Mom.

These books always make me happy to live the life I have. I felt so sorry for Sarah as she fought to regain her life. The author does an amazing job of making you feel the emotions of the characters and I could actually almost feel as suspicious and upset as Sarah was at her lack of memory. I enjoyed this book.

Maaalo!!
