These splendid and original little cakes are wonderful for afternoon tea, but they deserve a much bigger role than that. Serve them as a special dessert at a chic dinner party (a different cupcake for each guest) or make a loved one - adult or child - a cupcake as a birthday cake. While the cupcakes in this book look like little works of art, the instructions on making them are clear and undaunting.

I have an abundance of nutella (I know it's bad for us, but🤷) in my pantry, so I thought I would peruse some of the baking cookbooks I have to see if I could whip something up real quick. Not going to be the case with this book.

There are 53 recipes, each include well detailed directions and a lovely picture to show something I could never create. Some of these cupcakes look super cute! Seriously, the pictures are great!

Everything is a bit too fancy for me to make, since I like easy peasy recipes, but if I do end up making something it would probably be the no-bake chocolate cakes.

I like that it gives us more information on: equipment, variations of what to do with chocolate, toffee and fondant, how to pipe and other various techniques. A glossary, index and conversion chart round out this fancy shmancy book.

A sweet parting gift on my last day at the winery, I am not sure whether to shelve it with cookbooks or art books. I am hopeful the recipes will be as delightful as flipping through the adorable full color photographs and helpful glossary. I plan to first test the "froufrou" cupcake (coconut and raspberry!). This is what I call sustainable art.

Beautiful cupcake book with lots of helpful decorating hints and beautiful photos. The recipes only make 12 regular sized cupcakes, so you don't have to worry about too many leftovers. I tried the Sweetheart recipe, with raspberry jam, and it was good. Unfortunately, the modeling fondant recipe didn't work for me, so I threw it out, and used icing.

Yes. It's cupcakes. My friend, who is a sorceress of the kitchen, found this for me and the recipes themselves are almost filling. A work of pure magic and glitter. A GOOD READ, indeed.
