I liked this collection of 3 stories, I just wanted a bit more from each story.
The first story was about a loving, but outspoken Puritan wife who wanted a bit more sexually (think dominance) from her chaste, obedient husband. The second story was about a missionary's wife whose husband was more interested in converting the African natives to Christianity than pleasuring her body, and the third story was about a bold princess who showed her husband who was boss when he expected a meek wife who would lie back and "think of England".
The third story about Princess Alira was my favorite. She was a badass! I just wanted a little more closure for that story (and all the others!).
Otherwise, a fun, short collection of erotic stories. Thanks to the authors, especially Alexandra Noir, for the opportunity to ARC!

This is a three story bundle. In, Freedom in the Colonies, Ezekiel punishes his wife, Martha. She returns to the old Hayward house seeking deviant pleasure. Ezekiel wants to see what she endured in her past. In, Assuming the Missionary Position, Reverend Joshua Garland and his wife, Cathy, are missionaries spreading the Bible in Africa. Saved from bandits in Lawana, they were taken to a walled city by the leader Bull. It was decided that Cathy would become Bull's ritual bride "to keep the tribe strong." In, The Princess' Pleasure, Married as a duty, to merge the rivers of the two provinces, Princess Alira kept up her part of the bargain, including in the chamber. Prince Kestrel performed out of duty. After three weeks of neglect Princess Alira took matters into her own hands and with her personal guard, Captain Verek, she showed the prince how she should have been treated all along.

If you are looking for a dark, unique clash of sweetness romance stories this is for you. It was amazing the way the men claim their women it's dark and sweet.

Three women across different eras find new things about themselves. Each story is written well with steamy scenes. Ms. Noir knows how to write steamy novels.
