In the last installment of The Inheritance series Caitlin Wheeler follows her heart and Neal Dietrich into the seedy underbelly plagued by Chicago’s elite, where she learns very few can be trusted, even those disguised as a friend.
With the help of Neal’s ex-fiancé, she unearths a long kept secret that could change the course of her life and Neal’s, forever.
She thought the hard part was over, but loving Neal is complicated. Can she handle it? Will she want to?

This was a great series! The writing was interesting and thought provoking. I was definitely kept guessing!!
I do have several issues with the series. I'm so annoyed with the lack of marketing for this series. There are barely any ratings/reviews for the 4 books! Most of the books I read are ones with a decent readership so that I know the author/book has already had a test run and the response was a positive one. I'm not looking for a book with all 5 stars and gleaming recommendations, but SOMETHING to show that other people have good things to say about it, but there is NOTHING for these books! Why?
The conclusion of Caitlin and Neil's story... The two have been through a whirlwind of emotions and situations including arrest and gone into hiding... And all in the first half of the book! It's difficult to believe that this story took place in about 1.5 weeks!
Caitlin learns the truth behind her father's death and deals with the doubt in Neil that was planted by Niel's friend... The story is complicated and felt somewhat rushed as the book was short, it seems like the author tried to fit an action adventure novel into a few short pages. It was an ok read, just not for my favourites.
