Leo is just a normal guy in college. Every day is the same. That is until Max shows up in his life and turns everything upside down.He could handle the change if it was small, but Max surprised him in front of the whole economics building... Scratch that the WHOLE College! How is he supposed to recover from that? The worst part is that Leo had liked how Max made him feel inside. Now he is stuck in a crazy entanglement with Max as they both try to discover just what being in love means. Especially when what they are feeling and how to deal with those feelings, means coming to terms with a growing change inside of them.~A beautiful short story about individuality, love, and the roles we face when held back by our own narrowed feelings.~
This book was a bit on the softer don't take me too seriously side. I felt like some problems could have been solved faster if they had communicated a bit more. But overall it was a fairly fluffy read. It's an HE, and there are enough cute points in it that I was able to read through it fast enough. There is no spice, its very pg-13 with a couple of cute kisses and near the end there is an implied fade to black scene. I really loved the pretty in pink kiss. That stuck with me. I wanted to give it a three but came to the conclusion that the overall feeling it left me with was a happy, good tone. I didn't regret reading it. And I have given other novels. I got frustrated with fours. I was much more frustrated with those and they got four stars, so I figured this one should get one too. As I did like the ending and the overall vibe. Even if some parts were seriously annoyed. It seems the author did a few more chapters in this series. I will have to check those out, too.
2.75⭐️ I have went into this book expecting to at least enjoy it, but I thought very disappointed with the plot. There’s so much miscommunication and just a lot of things missing in this relationship that I just couldn’t get with them. And those no spice from the MCs. It felt like the Romance was very juvenile and on top of the miscommunication and the unintentional wrong conclusions that Leo kept coming to. I just felt that this could’ve been executed better for the MCs!
