Small towns can hide some very dark secrets.

Marie and Andrew have travelled back to the town they grew up in for a nostalgic look round. They might have forgotten the evil that lurked in the shadows when they were children but it hasn't forgotten them and now they're here, it finally has a chance to finish what it started all those years ago.

As an enormous storm approaches there's only two options. Run and leave the town to its fate or stay and fight with no guarantee they'll survive until sunrise. Whatever their choice, there'll be no going back...

About the author

Valentine King was born in North Yorkshire in 1980. He began writing horror stories at the age of eight and hasn't stopped since. He attended the University of Hull, graduating in 2003 before achieving a post graduate teaching qualification in 2005, teaching adults to read and write for two years whilst continuing to write in his spare time.
Valentine's first published collection of twelve short stories was 'Night Terrors,' in 2014, followed soon after by the acclaimed 'After Dark,' a second collection of short stories.
In addition to his fiction work Valentine has also written a guide to children's literature and a guide to self publishing, both available on Amazon. He lives on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors with a dog and cat and is currently working on his first novel.
