Against All Odds #4

Crash Into You

Rate this book
Victoria’s life is a complete disaster. Not only is she living a lie since she got released from the wellness center, a boot-camp for troubled teens, but she also has to stay away from the one person she cares about more than anyone, her stepbrother Nathan. Nathan, the one person in the world she happens to be completely and totally obsessed with.

Victoria feels like she’s gotten way to comfortable keeping her stories straight, and going through the motions of her fake life. But you can only live a lie for so long before the truth catches up with you. And once it does, will Victoria be able to save the one guy she cares about the most?

**Crash Into You is for a mature YA audience due to strong sexual content and language.***

This is just so silly....

Book 1-107 pages
Book 2-103 pages
Book 3-79 pages
Book 4-59 pages

SERIOUSLY YOU ARE RIPPING YOUR READERS OFF.... £2·00 FOR A BOOK OF 59 PAGES..... UTTERLY DISGUSTED AT HOW YOU ARE DRAGGING THIS SERIES OUT TO ROB YOUR READERS. WHY ARE YOU NOT JUST PUTTING SOME EFFORT INTO THIS AND FINISHING IT IN THE FOURTH BOOK, GIVING US A PROPER BOOK, NOT JUST ENOUGH PAGES THAT WOULD FILL A COUPLE OF CHAPTERS BY ANY OTHER AUTHORS THAT DON'T ROB THEIR CUSTOMERS BLIND. ITS TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE BOOK FOR SO FEW PAGES. THERE ARE BOOKS THAT ARE FREE OR CHEAPER THAT ARE BETTER BOOKS AND A FULL BOOK WITH ENOUGH PAGES TO KEEP READERS HAPPY.

AS FOR THE BOOK, AGAIN IT RECAPPED ALOT FROM THE OTHER BOOTS. NATHAN WAS IN THE WHOLE BOOK BUT AGAIN 70% OF THE BOOK WAS A RECAP OF HOW SHE WAS FEELING/THINKING WHICH WE ALREADY GOT FROM THE OTHER BOOKS, NOT ENOUGH INTERACTION BETWEEN THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS. U START GETTING SOMETHING FROM THE BOOK THEN IT FRIGGIN ENDS..... SERIOUSLY ANOTHER BOOK. THE FOUR BOOKS TOGETHER DON'T EVEN MAKE A FULL NOVEL YET

SERIOUSLY KELS BARNHOLDT. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU READ THESE REVIEWS BUT YOU ARE LETTING YOUR CHARACTERS DOWN, YOUR STORY DOWN BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY YOUR READERS DOWN.

AS FOR ME I'M READING THIS SERIES JUST TO GET A RESOLUTION, BUT IF YOU THINK I WOULD EVER READ ANOTHER BOOK FROM THIS AUTHOR, I WOULDN'T BOTHER AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SERIES OR AUTHOR TO ANY OTHER READERS

I thought the pain would finally end.....but no! Kels Barnholdt is once again dragging out Nathan and Victoria's story by stopping at a totally random part. Please Miss Barnholdt, I beg of you. To learn from your older sister and Sarah Dessesn, whom you state are inspirations, on how to write a full length novel. Nathan and Victoria's story would have been a good one if all of this had been combined into one FULL length book. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE wrap up their story in the next book. The only reason I continue to read these books is for some resolution, but trust me I will never touch another book written by this author.

This author is an absolute joke!!! She has basically written one book and divided it up into tiny little sections and selling them for ridiculous pricing and making people wait ages to get small snippets! And the real shame is she could have written a good book and been a popular author but now that I know what she's like, ripping her readers off I will never be reading another book or series by her.

A good read.
This really is an entertaining storyline that gets more and more interesting as you read.
Being stuck on a mission to find her ex-roommate's mother with Nathan is both a pleasure and pain for Tori.
But when the mission doesn't go well and she is feeling bummed, Nathan steps in and ends up learning part of her secret.
Feeling betrayed and upset Nathan locks himself in the bathroom to try to regain control over his emotions.....you can really feel where he is coming from. Tori feeling his pain and guilt for her part in it slips him her true journel to read.
Once the truth is known, Nathan lets his love show and they both enjoy their passion. Deciding that they are in this together, they will stand united.......
They still have a tough road ahead of them as they will need to face their parents who still have control over their lives and can really do some major damage......and hurt them.
So sad that this is another short novella and need to wait for #5 (yes...#5!) to come out that will hopefully contain the happy ending these 2 deserve.

The book was great! It left a nice cliffhanger but there was one problem. In the beginning of this FOURTH book of this series, the author recounted everything that happened since book one. It wasn't just told in minority. The events were explained thoroughly and I was about to lose my mind since I read this whole series back to back. It's part of a series, there's no need to repeat everything again. That is why you start from the first book.

But, other than this I enjoyed the book immensely and was overjoyed at the end!

I wish I wouldve read the reviews before i just kept buying and buying... it was like a sick little game... sooo little pages, and for me it was almost like 4$ a stupid book. I totally thought it was finished! I have this problem that when i start something I have to finish it. The story line was pretty good, but it doesnt make up for the fact the series is not finished and it looks like its not going to be... dont waste your time or money on it. Heck I wouldnt even waste my KU on it. What kind of author sells her books for almost 4$ CAD. Heck I understand serials. I really do, but take it off the market if you arent going to finish it. Its rude to do that to your readers, and rip them off their hard earned money when you cant even finish a damn book. Hopefully i can sweet talk Amazon to give me my money back.

I am tired of this series. I find that there is so little progress in each installment and so much filler that I end up hating the main characters just a little more every time I read a section. I hope that this wraps up soon because I think that the next section may be my last. I couldn't get over how quickly these two went from hostile to hooking up, and the whole obsession is also tiring me out. She probably should be in a wellness centre being treated for her obsession.

Are you freaking kidding me!? What the heck is with the ending to theses books ? Just cut off half way through a story ??
This is so bull now we have to wait for a 5th book to get the rest of the ending ?
I swear this last book better be the end of this story if not I'm going to be so pissed off paying more money for half a story and a crappy half way ending

Nathan definitely had a lot more apologizing to do, Victoria should not have forgiven him so easily.

Will there be another one? If so, I would LOVE if it were longer and there was more closure at the end. I love this series but each book is so short and leaves off after almost nothing happens.
