The Church in Shepard's Woods
The Church in Shepard’s Woods continues the suspenseful story of Audrey, who has settled into small-town living with her Granny, even though their neighborhood and house seem to be haunted by dead people.
After being warned against entering the Secret Room in Granny's house, Audrey spots her dog, Roger, coming from the room. Are animals exempt from curses? Will Roger be affected? Why are so many dead people visiting the room?
Audrey discovers an underground, hidden room in the woods that could be the key to the Devil's Curse being placed on the church. When she attempts to leave, she is surrounded by pale men. Can she escape them or has she reached the end of her journey?
Once she finally gets the opportunity to enter the church, she is caught by Preacher Man and banned from Shepard's Woods. What will she do now?

I reread the updated version of book 1 it was much better. This book was good as well. I do however like a little more character information. The story part is good and I am interested to get the next book as I now need to find out what has happened.
