Jonathon Masters is the IT boy of the Australian acting scene, well known, easily recognisable, cocky, he was once Lisa's philandering ex but when he tries to atone for the sins of his past he has no idea it could lead him to meeting the one woman who is about to change his life.
Sandra Haegen is no stranger to rock stars and famous actors, as a journalist she's met her fair share, she's even made the rookie mistake of falling for sweet words and declarations of love and lust before, and she's vowed to never make that same mistake again. Jonathon may be sexy as hell, and exudes charisma but he's an actor and despite how strong their connection feels, Sandra will not allow herself to be fooled again. The attraction between these two is palpable, the connection real, and despite having the seemingly perfect male counterpart in Brad, Sandra can't deny what started out as lust has turned into so much more than she ever imagined.
I've been a huge fan of Lilliana Anderson's work, my favourite couple in this series has been Paige and Elliot, while I have adored other characters, my love for these two has never swayed, until now, the chemistry between Jonathon and Sandra burns off the page, the slow building of their relationship had me invested, from enemies, to friends and from friends to so much more, these two had me cheering in their corner, praying for a second chance, for their time to come.
The Beautiful series is one I love coming back to like old friends, with each new book in the series, my circle grows larger, the sense of familiarity I feel coming back to these characters, mixed with the pure joy of discovering something new about them, another side of these people I've come to care about. I'm eager to see where Lilliana takes these characters next and am desperate to learn more about Brad.
