New Adult Romance

MAY BE READ AS A STANDALONE

When Jonathan decided to help Lisa, he was trying to atone in some way for his past sins. He certainly wasn't expecting to be pulled into a night full of hiding out from the press with a journalist called Sandra Haegen, and almost being choked to death by a rockstar in love with his ex.

When Sandra decided to help Lisa by feeding Perry, she was just trying to be a good person. She also wasn't expecting to spend the night hiding from the press. Even more so, she wasn't expecting to spend the night with one of Australia's hottest young actors, Jonathan Masters. She also wasn't expecting to save his life.

And that's just the beginning.

From there, these two must find a way live with the past and look to the future - no matter what the personal cost.

ARC received from author for an honest review

Now, I don't know why, but when I read this series originally, I seem to have missed Jonathon and Sandra's story, so it was wonderful to dive into their story afresh.

Ms Anderson has given us a lovely slow burn of a story with Star.

From earlier books, I wasn't particularly a fan of Jonathon - let's face it, he's a bit of a douche, however as the story progressed, he revealed so many more layers. He's like parfait - and everyone loves parfait!

We are thrown a few twists and turns and surprises in this story - some things I really, really was not expecting!

Another wonderful story in this series, and a great set up for the next book. Bring it on Ms Anderson!

*4.5 Stars*

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

I have been loving getting to read this series for the first time and getting introduced to all these really cool characters. I was correct in my thinking when I read the last book, about who this one would be featuring.

I really liked getting to know Sandra more in this book, and Jonathan was a much more layered character than I originally realised. For the most part this was a really fun and easy read, but there were also a whole bunch of things thrown in, that were more intense, and totally unexpected.

There really isn't much to say, except that this was another fabulous instalment in this series, and I can't wait for more. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love the Beautiful Series!!! Sandra and Jonathan's story did not disappoint. Sandra is Lisa's friend (the reporter who slept with Marcus) and Jonathan is Lisa's ex-fiancee from a Beautiful Rock. When I first read the excerpt, I was a little hesitant to read it because I was thinking, Sandra is triflin for liking her friend's ex anything. Where is the "girl code"? But again this is why I read fictional romance novels. They met the night Lisa gets exposed as Leisil Marx and Jonathan chases after Sandra like a lost sick puppy. I do like that the relationship was a slow build and that they got to know one another before giving each other the bf/gf title. A few times I wanted to slap Sandra for being so stupid. Especially around 72% of the book. I wanted to choke the life out of her. But thank goodness it all worked itself out. I loved that the ending wasnt your typical HEA but it was a HEA fitting for Sandra and Jonathan. Anxious to read more about Brad.

Wow! Another great Beautiful Story from Lilliana. A Beautiful Star is the continuation of the story that started with David and Katrina in A Beautiful Struggle and The Commitment and then came in their friends Elliot and Paige in the story of a A Beautiful Forever and Paige's story in Phoenix, and then the story of Theo and Naomi in A Beautiful Melody, and then the story of Marcus and Lisa in A Beautiful Rock. Each story branches off to each of David and Katrina's friends and acquaintances. Now this story is about Sandra Haegan, Lisa's dear friend and Jonathan Masters Lisa's ex. Each story is unique and very captivating. Each have their own HEA and leaves you wanting more from the Beautiful Series.
What do you do when you run into the same situation you once had with someone famous and then another famous person comes along and your trying to keep from having feelings for them because in the end it always ends up with hurt?
Sandra Haegen is a reporter that was supposed to have interviewed Marcus Bailey in a Beautiful Rock but Lisa did it for her since Sandra has a past with Marcus. A famous Indie Rock star. Sandra was supposed to be feeding and taking care of Perry, Lisa's dog, while Lisa was on the run hiding from her past. But when Jonathan tries to help Lisa out by hiding her from the press and Marcus; Sandra is brought in and never once expected to spend the night hiding with a famous "hot" movie star hiding from the press.
Jonathan has a very bad past with women. He just goes from one to the other. Hes famous and he goes from one engagement to the other. Until he meets Sandra. She is the one women that he wants that doesn't want him back. His past experiences tell her to stay away from him but her heart is telling her another thing. Jonathan wants her but will he be able to be true to her unlike his past with women.
Will Jonathan and Sandra be able to deal with each others pasts and put them aside? Can Sandra open her heart up and let Jonathan in?
Will Jonathan wait for her to make up her mind that they are meant to be together?
I gave this 5 stars as I did for the other books in this series. They just keep getting better and all have captured my heart in each individual story. The romance is GREAT! If you want to read a GREAT romance series then I recommend The Beautiful Series by Lilliana Anderson. You'll fall in love with each character like I did.

Jonathon Masters is the IT boy of the Australian acting scene, well known, easily recognisable, cocky, he was once Lisa's philandering ex but when he tries to atone for the sins of his past he has no idea it could lead him to meeting the one woman who is about to change his life.

Sandra Haegen is no stranger to rock stars and famous actors, as a journalist she's met her fair share, she's even made the rookie mistake of falling for sweet words and declarations of love and lust before, and she's vowed to never make that same mistake again. Jonathon may be sexy as hell, and exudes charisma but he's an actor and despite how strong their connection feels, Sandra will not allow herself to be fooled again. The attraction between these two is palpable, the connection real, and despite having the seemingly perfect male counterpart in Brad, Sandra can't deny what started out as lust has turned into so much more than she ever imagined.

I've been a huge fan of Lilliana Anderson's work, my favourite couple in this series has been Paige and Elliot, while I have adored other characters, my love for these two has never swayed, until now, the chemistry between Jonathon and Sandra burns off the page, the slow building of their relationship had me invested, from enemies, to friends and from friends to so much more, these two had me cheering in their corner, praying for a second chance, for their time to come.

The Beautiful series is one I love coming back to like old friends, with each new book in the series, my circle grows larger, the sense of familiarity I feel coming back to these characters, mixed with the pure joy of discovering something new about them, another side of these people I've come to care about. I'm eager to see where Lilliana takes these characters next and am desperate to learn more about Brad.

Passion, desire, grief & love .... Lilliana's perfection

I enjoyed Sarah and Jonathan's story the first time around, but I always felt like there was something missing. Now that Lilliana has reworked STAR, their story, I know what that was ... jonathan needed to have a stronger voice, his passions and love needed to be highlighted, as Sarah's originally were. This is exactly what Lilliana has done. I totally fell for the man who I once considered to be a complete douchebag but was now a worthy hero.

Even though their first meeting was amid chaos and mayhem, the chemistry between Sandra and Jonathan was undeniable. in reality it scared Sandra, she didn't want to be attracted to Jonathan Masters, movie star, the way in which she was to Marcus Bailey, rock star. She didn't want history to repeat itself. However, resistance was futile.

This is not a fairytale, this is a story of passion, doubt, insecurity, personal changes, grief and love. Sandra needs to learn to trust her own decisions before she can even learn to trust Jonathan and what he wants to give her. Jonathan, on the other hand, is smitten from the very first moment he sees Sarah, but his past and his reputation are a stumbling block. Jonathan sets out to prove to Sarah he is a changed man.

Lilliana has truly given her readers a beautiful emotional story ... definitely the best of this series. It pulled at my heartstrings, made me laugh and even shed a few silent tears. it is definitely a story worth reading.

All I can say now is ... Bring on TASTE and Brad the sexy chef.

The 5th book in the beautiful series. We met Sandra and Jonathan in the previous novel. Sandra finds out her best friend Lisa(heroine from the 4th book) is a famous rockstar. Some of the storyline will be familiar(from 4th book) but is now told from Sandra and Jonathan point of view. Sandra rescues Jonathan from being strangled by Marcus and so begin their relationship. Sandra does not trust herself and what she feels for Jonathan since she thought she had a connection with Marcus the rockstar only to realize she was just another groupie for him. I enjoyed how Jonathan was the first to realize his depth for Sandra and how he was patient in waiting for her to realize their connection. This series was my first introduction to Ms. Andersen and I am so glad I get to enjoy her marvelous writing. Arc giving by Ms. Anderson.

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I have to say, I honestly loved this book!! I really liked the characters; Sandra, Jonathan, Brad, and even Madeline! This is such a heartwarming story of loss, acceptance, trust, patience, and true love. As much as I have enjoyed the other characters and storylines in The Beautiful Series, (especially the story of Elliott and Paige) I think this one was my favorite story with my favorite characters. Thank you for sharing Lilli! Can't wait for the next one!

Star has become my favorite story written by Lilliana!

This is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone.

I loved everything about Jonathan and Sandra’s story. This is a slow burn love story that will give you so many feels.

Lilliana took her time allowing Jonathan and Sandra’s love to bloom. With doing this, it allowed so much more depth to this story. There is so much going on in this story that you will not want to stop reading! I am a huge fan of all of her books, but Star is by far her best!

Jonathan and Sandra's story was beautifully written heartwarming emotional moments surrounded by heartbreak and loss however strength of family shines through for them both.
A slow burn that takes you on a emotional journey filled with such wonderfully complex characters that have you unable to put their story down. As their lives become more complicated by the events around them being constantly in the middle of scandal played out in the media. Why is it that for a star to shine other's seem to suffer and suffer they do.

Adorable!!!!! I totally fell for Jonathan....I lost a little respect for Sandra when she lost her way, but grief does that to you sometimes. I just wish there was more of a fight for their relationship when it came to her. I feel she got let off too easily. But now I cant WAIT for Ben's story....he seems like a good man in this book, I was happy he lost out on Sandra but I couldn't wait for him to find "his light".

I had this as a release day blitz on my blog and must saying just looking at the cover I would have never picked it up, but after reading the synopsis I thought it sounded interesting and after checking a couple early reviews I went ahead and got me a e copy on amazon. I’m so happy I did, it was just what I needed, a light, funny but heartwarming romance.

When women throw themselves at you and you have a reputation of being a ladies man why change peoples perceptions that’s the world that Jonathan lives. Sandra is a reporter with integrity and after a chance meeting she decides that Jonathan life is not one she wants. This is a slow burn romance that take some twists and turns and heartache that you hope that will end in a HEA for Jonathan and Sandra.

I love everything this woman writes, and Star is no different. Jonathan is more of a slow burn than some of the previous men in this series, but oh boy it's worth it.
I read it in one sitting, I couldn't make myself put it down..

If you've read Rock you will be familiar with Marcus & Lisa & how her past is slightly tied up with that of Jonathon, whose tale this is about. Also Sandra is her friend but you could read it as a standalone.
Jon is attracted to Sandra after an incident at a nightclub & pursues her relentlessly not backing down. As luck would have it she has also started dating someone else. So you will need to read it to see how it plays out.
If you've enjoyed this series so far then this won't disappoint.

Wow this was a great read by Lilliana Anderson. Sandra's life is turned upside down when she learns her best friend Lisa is really Leisel. After agreeing to help Lisa escape the nightclub, Sandra gets entangled with Lisa's boyfriend Marcs and her ex the famous actor Jonathon Masters. Sandra and Jonathon are thrown together when the paparazzi chase after them. What I enjoyed was the fact that
Jonathan didn't immediately win Sandra over. Jonathon knows Sandra is nothing like all the women he has met. I will definitely be reading the previous books!

Lilliana has truly given us readers a fabulous and emotional story.
The best so far in this series.
This story will definitely pull at your heartstrings, it will make you laugh and maybe even shed a few tears.
It is worth reading although this is no fairytale.
It is a story of passion, doubt, insecurity, personal changes, grief and of course love.

I enjoyed this book a lot. The story picks up close to the point in book 4 where Lisa's true identity was revealed and chaos ensued in the club they were all at. The book blurb is a good description of the story. Sandra is a likable character and Jonathan turns out to be a good guy and likable as well. Sandra and Jonathan's romantic ups and downs, and the emotional storyline, held my interest my interest from beginning to end. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I wanted to know why this book was so familiar....I had read a prior with Lisa ..fun characters with weird hang ups, I guess. And Sandra is a tough one. I guess I liked Jonathan more than her because he really evolved and matured. Sandra makes a terrible decision at one point which was a low point for me in liking/respecting her and the story fizzles for me. I no longer care.

Just when I think, Oh THIS is my favorite Lilliana Anderson book, BAM, she writes another one! I loved this couple, Sandra and Jonathan so much. There were so many emotions, love, humor, sadness, hotness! My favorite line was, "no matter where I am in this world, I will come to you" SWOON! Thank you for writing a great story with the perfect ending!
