Lots of action and intrigue - loved the characters!

Oh, this was delicious! As only the author could bake it and I smile goofy.
No, this is no mpreg but it might as well be. This is mildly BDSM and the sizziling chemistry that is between Miguel and Julian is truly interesting to watch... erm, read. Especially when Miguel cannot seem to resist looking at the beauty that is Julian, nor smile at his actions, or even realize his feeling his heart thrum in pleasure whenever he hears the young man laugh.
Boy, this erotic older hero is truly smitten!
But wait: didn't he just accuse his best friend of doing exactly this same thing? Didn't he come all this way just to convince said best friend that his actions and deeds were illogical?
Miguel has fallen and he cannot get up. Well, not from the irresistible charm that is Julian. And definitely not when the young man needs his full support when he comes home to bury his older brother.
As for me?
I am smiling :D Another Alexander gem folks! Don't miss this one.

This book had a good story to it. This was about being in the right place at the right time and meeting that special someone. It was about coming out and not being afraid of who you are, but finding unexpected happiness and letting yourself go and being free. The characters struggled with loss and finding themselves by moving forward.
I found that I liked Miguel, even though he hadn't told anyone he was gay. He was a contradiction of everything he was trying to talk to his friend about, until he met Julian. Miguel was very arrogant, but caring. I felt sad for Julian for all losses so far in his short life.
I enjoyed reading this lighthearted romance, though I found it extremely short, left me wanting a little more of their story.
