Two morons fall in love. One is a minor princess and one is a rancher in Colorado.

They do moron-jerk things a lot, and basically act like whiny brats most of the time.

The sex is decent, but I don't give a fig about these characters, so what do I care?

Highlights:
A dog named Lonesome.
A sister named Genevra.

I like both of those names.

A Bravo Christmas Wedding by Christine Rimmer is a 2014 Harlequin Special Edition publication. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Being a Princess is not always what it is cracked up to be. For Rory the main problem is her mother's refusal to allow her to lose the ever present security or bodyguards she has endured her whole life, despite the fact she is so far down the food chain she will never be in direct line to a throne. The other issue is her crush on rancher, Walker McKellen. The two are friends, but when Rory's mother hires Walker to be Rory's bodyguard while she attends her cousin's wedding in Colorado, Rory is none too pleased. But, it's not just the bodyguard situation, it's that she will have to stay under the same roof with Walker and that is going to be pure torture.
Walker is also having a few problems dealing with being under the same roof with Rory. Up until now, he has kept their relationship purely platonic, but it's getting harder to deny his attraction to her. But, there is a bit of an age difference and well, a rancher and princess? Walker's not kidding himself. The two are not even in the same league with one another. But with each passing day, Walker's resistance is being lowered a little more.

Holiday romance is just a little more magical, don't you think? The mountains, a wedding, snow. Positively dreamy. A friends to lovers story is always hard to top. Rory and Walker had a great foundation to build on, but it was hard to relinquish the safe friendship for something deeper. While Rory seemed to know her heart without the slightest doubt, Walker was a tougher nut to crack. But, of course he realizes he doesn't really have a life without Rory in it and no matter what the odds are, he is ready to gamble. A wonderful, light and heartwarming love story proving that no matter what our differences true love will come out on top every time. I am very curious to see what will happen now with with Clara! 4.5 rounded to 5

Wonderful conclusion to this fun series. Rory has gone to Colorado to be the maid of honor at her cousin's wedding. She's met by Walker, a man that's been a friend to her and her family for several years, and who she's cared for just as long. She thought she'd finally convinced her parents that she no longer needed a bodyguard, only to discover that Walker would be serving in that capacity during her stay.

Walker didn't mind pulling bodyguard duty until he suddenly started seeing Rory as more than just a friend. Now he's fighting those feelings with everything he has. He feels that there are a couple things working against him having a relationship with Rory. First and foremost, she's a princess and he's just an ordinary guy. Second, he's been married once and it didn't work out. He had fallen hard for his ex and recovering from the hurt she inflicted had been difficult. He's just not willing to risk it again.

I loved seeing Rory and Walker together. They had been friends for a long time so there's plenty of history between them. It was fun to see him deal with her bad mood when she first arrived. He knew just what to say and do to snap her out of it. Rory had loved him for years, and had even made a move on him a few years earlier and had suffered from his rejection. She had resigned herself to being friends only, until she sensed that he was finally looking at her as a woman. Now she feels as though she has a chance at the life she really wants. I loved watching her show Walker how much she loves the ranch and the town, and that she isn't anything like his ex. Meanwhile Walker is trying desperately not to think of her as anything but a friend, and not being very successful at it. When that first kiss finally happens, he's overwhelmed with the way it makes him feel, but still refuses to accept the fact that he can have it all. Even though they have some scorching hot times together, Walker continues to insist that love is not in the cards for him.

His misery when Rory leaves to go back home is well deserved. I loved the lecture he got from his brother and how he starts to see what an idiot he was. I loved the ending and the way he surprised Rory, especially as he finally admitted his feelings. The epilogue was fantastic, showing them taking the time together to really get to know each other as more than friends.

Enjoyed this book but not as much as the others in this series. Further comments to come as I reread this Royale's seris. I didn't realize, until I was searching Ms Rimmer's books for a new one to read, that I failed to leave reviews for some of this series.

Rory doesn’t like to have bodyguards which she have to endured her whole life but given the fact that she is a princess, she could not run away from it even though she is not the heir apparent to the throne. To make matter worse for her, she is attracted to a rancher, Walker who has been employed by her mother to guard her while she is at the ranch attending her cousin’s wedding. Things could not be worse of what Rory is experiencing for Walker because he is too find it too a temptation to be under one roof as Rory. Up to her visit this round, Walker has been keeping their relationship purely business but things are getting harder now when it is difficult to contain his attraction to her. He well known that given the differences in their status and age, they are in two different league altogether.

This is the final book in the series and it tells the story of friendship turned into lover where both Rory and Walker has known each other for a long time and have plenty of history between them. It also means that Walker understand her well. Rory wanted more out of her relationship with Walker but being employed as a bodyguard by her mother, she knows that Walker will not go beyond his boundary his position and its frustrate her. It also showed that she is truly independent and is willing to take fate into her hand. I like the way she tries to convince Walker that she likes normal life and how much she loves his town and trying to convince him that she is nothing like his ex. All these while Walker struggle to maintain his sanity. Overall, It is a fun read for me ;)

To me a great book is one that paints a picture with words. In this new Bravo story, I can see easily picture the characters and places Rimmer writes about. I would love to grab a book at the Library Cafe or take a ride with Walker and Rory! What a great addition to the Bravo Royales series!

I really enjoyed this book.
The setting was good and the characters believable.

Rory is a princess, whose mother is protective (maybe overly so). Rory is coming to her cousin Cara's wedding and staying with her friend Walker. Rory has had a crush on Walker since she was a teenager.
This is their story and the story of why things are a bit strained between Cara and her fiancé - who happens to be Walker's brother.
I hope to get the next book in this series.

This is a good romance book to get you into the holiday spirit. There are some parts of the book I can help laughing, shaking and nodding my head as I read the book. I was expecting to pace my self but I actually didn’t because it was good that you would finish reading it in a short time.

" A Bravo Christmas Wedding" written by Christine Rimmer is an invigorating friends to lover romance that quickly enraptured my heart. Princess Aurora Bravo-Calabretti, "Rory" as she is called by her friends and family has been harboring a secret during her visits to Justice Creek over the past seven years, she has a huge crush on her best friend and confidant, Walker McKellan. Feelings came unraveled when her mother asked Walker to become Rory's bodyguard during her stay in Justice Creek for her cousin's wedding. This means a lot of one on one time between the Princess and Walker. Walker has been burned by love and tends to like the pleasure of his own company but he discovered that he could get used to having Rory around. In the back drop of this book is Christmas and who doesn't like a good Christmas story, except maybe the Grinch.
The things I liked about Rory were her ability to look on the bright side of things. There was a lot of craziness going on with her cousin's during the preparations of the wedding, although she may have had reservations about her cousin's relationship with her intended spouse. She only offered a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear not criticism. Despite the fact she was a princess, Rory was very down to earth. She was not above mucking out a stable or holding someone's hair
while they vomited. I really enjoyed that Rory made Walker work for her after she realized that he wanted her.
Walker had some issues from the past he needed to overcome in order to realize that he could make it work with Rory. His ex-wife was the complete opposite of Rory, she lied, cheated and generally deceived him from the moment they met. Being burned by her left him with the fear of loosing his heart again. After wrestling with himself for a while Walker gave into the physical desire that he felt for Rory but he basically told her that his heart wasn't up for grabs. Rory was hurt by his words but like any optimist, she put on a brave face. Rory told him she loved him and then left him to head home. Walker finally realized he was empty without her and headed to Montedoro to pick up his best Christmas present of all, Rory.
This story was so beautifully written that I could envision the mountains, the falls and all the other wonderful elements of nature. Ms. Rimmer not only did a remarkable job weaving Walker and Rory's story, she gave us snippets of future stories by introducing the reader to the Bravo's of Justice Creek. I would highly recommend this book and encourage readers to do yourself a favor and grab this book for a favorite stocking stuffer. This book may have been my favorite of this series. Ms. Rimmer, I look forward to continuing the Bravo journey with you.

Can their Christmas passion blossom into a very Bravo happily-ever-after?

First off this book is part of Christine Rimmer's Bravo Series, but can be read as a stand alone and enjoyed. Although you will soon be wanting the other books in the series as well.

Once you open "A Bravo Christmas Wedding" do not expect to put it down before reading the final page. The characters are multidimensional and believable. The plot has been thought out and planned so that it flows smoothly. There are plenty of tense moments filled with romance and enough humor to keep it light.

My rating of "A Bravo Christmas Wedding" is 4.75 out of 5 stars.

Christine Rimmer revisits her Bravo family series with A Bravo Christmas Wedding. Princess Aurora Bravo-Calabretti returns to Colorado and the Bar N ranch for her cousin's wedding only to find her mother has hired the love of her life, Walker McKellon as her body guard. The attraction between these two character is obvious and electric. Rimmer does a wonderful job establishing the tension and relationship between Rory and Walker. We are immediately pulling for them and want this to be their best, most romantic Christmas ever.
Rimmer creates a wonderful, sweet Christmas story that makes you long for a Christmas romance of your own. Walker is a wonderful, masculine cowboy and Rory is the princess we all long to be. The princess theme works surprisingly well in this modern tale. Rimmer is brilliant at establishing Rory's character as a truly modern princess. We know exactly what Rory sees in Walker and what Walker admires about Rory.
The relationships and characters of the Franklin Bravo children is another aspect of the novel I truly enjoyed. These character were riveting and entertaining and make you long for their tales to come. I think this is always a clever and entertaining way for an author to capture your interest in future novels. I can't wait to read Clara's story; although, I am a bit disappointed that Ryan does not appear to be in her future.
A Bravo Family Christmas is a warm, funny, sexy Christmas story that I know you will enjoy. I highly recommend it and can't wait for Christine Rimmer's next novel.

"A Bravo Christmas Wedding" by Christine Rimmer gives us the story of Princess Aurora Bravo-Calabretti and Walker McKellan.

Aurora (Rory) come out for the wedding of her cousin Clara and her Mother hired Walker to be her bodyguard. What she didn't know is that Rory has had a crush on Walker for a few years, or did she.

Walker insists that they shouldn't do anything to ruin their friendship. He refuses to think of her as anything but his younger friend. Sometimes the best laid plans do not work out. Walker lets Rory know that he can't commit to ever being more than a fling to anyone. He has many issues from his past that needs to come to terms with before he can be ready for such a commitment. Can he leave the past in the past?

If you start reading this book find a time when you have uninterrupted time, because you're not going to want to put this one down. There are things that happen in the story where you think that it's a classic romance, but there are some other things that come up which are stones thrown in the path of their romance/friendship.

Love this Bravo story. If you haven't read any of the other "Bravo" books your missing out on a great family saga, but the books flow nicely and you'll find it easy to follow even without having read another part of the series.

A Bravo Christmas Wedding is a part of The Bravo Royales series written by Christine Rimmer for the Harlequin Special Edition line. It is a friends to lovers themed romance. Ms. Rimmer delivers another fantastic addition to the series. Princess Aurora Bravo Calabretti (Rory) of Montedoro is visiting Justice Creek Colorado. She’s there to participate in her cousin Clara’s wedding. Walker McKellan is the owner of the Bar-N and brother to Clara’s intended. Rory’s mother hired Walker to be her bodyguard while she’s visiting. They’ve known one another for seven years and Rory has had feelings for him since the outset of their friendship. Walker’s been hurt by his ex-wife and has a difficult time admitting to his feelings. Neither wants to lose their friendship. Rory recognizes Walker’s feelings for her and decides to walk away from him. He fears he’s too late but anything can happen at a bachelor-bachelorette party. And what about that wedding? Surprises do happen in this magical holiday read. I enjoyed it from page one and couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend A Bravo Christmas Wedding along with the other books in the Bravo Royales series. I’d like to disclose that I received a copy of A Bravo Christmas Wedding is exchange for a fair and honest review.

This is book 9 in the series and only the second one that I have read. So there were a lot of characters that I have never met and would like to read there stories. But I was not missing out of anything to make the story stand alone.

It was romantic, caring , drama , I liked the characters. Was a couple of love scenes that I skipped over.

The setting was a Colorado ranch mostly in winter.

Princess Aurora Bravo-Calabretti has come to Colorado to attend her favorite cousins wedding. Her mother has arranged for her friend rancher Walker McKellan to be her bodyguard for his brothers wedding.

Rory has had a crust on Walker for years. She has been his friend too. She is glad that she didn't
have to bring royal bodyguards.

Rory is also a photographer and she wants to take pictures while she is staying at Walker's ranch.

Rory is concerned about Clara and Ryan's wedding. The four of them have been good friends.

This is a nice fast read. Makes me want to read more of the series.

I was given this ebook to read by Net Galley and Harlequin. In return I agreed to give honest review of A Bravo Christmas Wedding.

Two different worlds yet they managed to be friends, but can the differences of two different worlds lead to something more or are they too far apart to ever come together?
When Rory, better known in some circles as Princess Aurora wants to attend her cousin’s wedding she doesn’t realize she’s going to start seeing her friend, Walker, now her bodyguard in a whole different light.
While I’m not one for fairytale endings, this was a sweet romance about people finding their way past their troubles, their baggage and what they think are obstacles to find happiness.
When I borrowed this digital copy from Netgalley.com for the low price of an honest review I had high expectations, I’ve read a lot of Christine Rimmer’s romance novels (this is one of many in the Bravo series and there are several other series as well) and she’s an expert at weaving a authentic romance that never disappoints. This was no exception.
Christmas weaves it’s magic spell and romance never fails, at least in romance novels.
Hope it wasn’t just the altitude that made them feel light-headed.

A story of Christmas, wedding plans, and staying in Colorado at a Ranch. Aurora had a crush on Walker for 7 years and never figured he would even notice her. Her Mom hired him to be her bodyguard. Which didn't work well.
Horse trail rides in early morning hours, and time with cousins. Tree Trimming Party event - first one held at Walker's Ranch. It would not be last.
Aurora is a princess as all Aurora's should be. I know as I have a three year old one. Aurora comes from a large family and she is the baby. Her Mother is very protective.
Walker, on the other hand, had his Dad walk out on his Mom leaving her with two boys to raise. She never quit loving his Dad and hoping he would return so Walker did not know how to deal with trust issues in a marriage.
A surprise snowstorm, stranded in a cabin for a few days and Aurora with a big bruise on her forehead day of wedding. All make for an interesting read. I highly recommend it.

Contemporary small town romance with a couple of long time friends that get together as they deal with a family wedding near the Christmas holidays.
Princess Aurora Bravo-Calabretti has been in unrequited love with rancher Walker McKellan for many years, and is in town to deal with her best cousin's wedding. She is the maid of honor so she has to be with Walker who is the best man a lot in the two weeks before the wedding.
Stuff happens, there is a wedding with no marriage although we get an engagement by the end of the story. SO MUCH family trauma. If you don't like that sort of thing, then readers might want to avoid this story.

This is a light and lively tale set in America where a Mediterranean principality's princess (but only eighth in line to the throne) comes for a family wedding. As she resists having bodyguards around her she is asked to stay with a solitary rancher friend, whose wife left him after her first Rocky Mountain winter.

The outcome is foreseeable but it's fun getting there, with nice vivid descriptive writing, interesting characters and frozen waterfalls. You don't need to have read the earlier books in the series though some characters revisit the story.

I very much enjoyed reading the story of how a frienship between Walker and Rory slowly develops to a marriage. The story along the way is full of bumps and rewards. I found the winter setting in Colorado perfect for the time of year. I really enjoyed visiting with Rorys siblings at the wedding of her brother and I found it captivating to watch this relationship evolve. Thanks again for a great story Christine Rimmer.

A very heart-warming holiday read. I really enjoyed reading the latest book in the Bravo Royales series. Christine finds the right blend of romance and royal in this book. Princess Aurora wants a romance with a non royal who becomes her body guard at her cousins holiday wedding. Does mother nature play a role in helping this romance take things to a new level and a happily ever after?? You won't be disappointed with this novel.

I received this book for an honest review. Rory is a princess visiting her cousin in Colorado to be maid of honor. Walker is a rugged cowboy who took the task of being Rory's bodyguard and is also one of her dear friends. The story of Rory and Walker is amazing. they endure so much to find love. This is one book that you will really enjoy reading and then it has a Christmas setting that just makes it perfect.

I love all of Christine Rimmer's books and this one is in her unique style in bringing the Bravo family stories to life. Princess Aurora is going to her cousin's wedding in Colorado and her mother hires Walker as her bodyguard. Follow along as she and Walker find they love each other, but he wants nothing to do with a permanent life with Rory. This is the final book in The Bravo Royals but never fear Christine will let us contine following the Bravo's in her next series...
