Analogy Apologetics: Reviewing Challenging Catholic Teachings Using Analogies, Reason, Logic, Scripture, and Especially the Attributes of God

Rate this book
What if the deepest truths of Catholic theology could be explained through everyday analogies?

A powerful and accessible exploration of the mystery of faith for the modern world. The book uses everyday experiences to illuminate Catholic doctrine.

In Analogy Apologetics, timeless truths come alive for today’s readers - from teens to theologians. Using metaphors and analogies, clarity on the Catholic faith is provided as well as for many of the most challenging Catholic doctrines.

Analogy Apologetics was written for anyone, Catholic and non-Catholic Christians alike, who are looking to learn more about Catholicism. This book is especially helpful for those trying to defend the Catholic faith. An additional use is to help Catholics (who may be doubting tenets of the faith) reinforce their understanding of important teachings.

It is singular and very unique as it takes a different approach than what is taken by many books that use a more doctrinal approach. The approach in this book uses analogies, reason, logic, and the attributes of God (especially God’s divine perfection). Additionally, there are many biblical references to support the information in the book.

Much of the focus in the book is on the areas of Catholicism that are difficult for Christians to understand. With that noted, this book is not a theology book, although it touches on theology. It is not a philosophy book, although there are philosophical elements in the book. It is not a catechism, although there are catechetical elements in the book. It is simply meant to assist anyone with sincere interest to grasp some of the basics of the Catholic faith. Christ told parables to convey many of His teachings. He did so because stories are consumable. In the end, a parable is an analogy in story format.

If you are looking for a way to understand the Catholic faith in a relatable, consumable, and understandable manner, this is the book for you. Enjoy the journey to understanding Catholicism in a way it has never been presented before. This book has received the imprimatur and nihil obstat from the diocese of Harrisburg.
