The Montgomery Ink World contains the following series, though each series is a stand alone and can be read in any order. Feel free to hop around:
Brooklyn Montgomery, daughter of Storm Montgomery and Everly Law (INK EXPRESSIONS). She was one of the owners of Montgomery Construction and the company's landscaper. After she lost her fiancé, she promised herself that she would never date nor fall for another man ever again. Only there's one man who was testing her willpower and she couldn't stop thinking about him even though he only saw her as his coworker and nothing more.
Reece Fox, a former firefighter now a restoration builder who works at Montgomery Construction with the one woman he wanted but couldn't have cause not only was she still grieving the loss of her late fiancé but now he found himself in a life changing situation. One he never saw coming...being a father to a pre-teen daughter (Bella). And when he needed help he found himself turning to the one person he wanted to stay away from the most...Brooklyn Montgomery.
I enjoyed the bound between Bella and Brooklyn. Also it warmed my heart how the teen gradually opened up to Reece and accepted him. They both missed out on each other's lives for over a decade but they were making new memories and creating a strong bound that would last them a lifetime.
Loved how the Montgomerys and the Foxes were there for Reece, Bella and Brooklyn as well. When the naysayers and narrowed minded people tried knocking them down, they found themselves protecting each other and their loved ones.
KISS ME FOREVER is the tenth installment in Carrie Ann Ryan's MONTGOMERY INK LEGACY series. It was heartwarming, fun and a delightful read. Carrie Ann Ryan had me hooked from start to finish. I finished the book in one go. Two thumbs up and a must read! 👍🏾👍🏾🌟🌟🌟
****I received this book, without any obligation to review.****
After losing her fiancé, Brooklyn decides she wants nothing to do with men or dating. So why is the one man who gets on her nerves also the one who grabs her attention?
Reece works with Brooklyn at Montgomery Construction as a restoration builder. He has always been attracted to Brooklyn but has kept his distance. Not only is she younger than him, but dating the boss is never a good idea. As they slowly stop arguing and start getting along, life throws Reece a curveball: Bella, his twelve year old daughter he never knew existed.
Reece and Bella are trying to navigate their new life together as father and daughter, but Reece keeps turning to the one person he wanted to keep his distance from: Brooklyn. With Bella now the number one priority in his life, how can he allow himself to bring Brooklyn into it? Brooklyn and Reece want each other, but they're not sure how to make it happen. Life keeps getting in the way. But can they catch a break and finally let themselves be happy?
I love reading about two people trying to heal and finding their way together. They each have such strong family support systems willing to help in any way they can, but seeing them realize they need each other is my favorite thing. Reece and Brooklyn needed one another more than they could explain. I loved how they created their own little family with Bella and watching the three of them grow together.
Endearing Steamy Romance Brooklyn Montgomery wants nothing to do with men, did not want to date, had no desire to be with anybody and yet Reece Fox draws her attention. She doe not know why he is working with the Montgomerys. He could work anywhere. Maybe it is just to annoy her. He is always so arrogant when she is around. Overprotective, overbearing and just plain rude even though she is higher in command and he should show her respect. Reece respects Brooklyn. It is just that she is so hot and too young. Going out with any Montgomery was asking for trouble or commitment. That was not something he wanted in any form. Plus now he shocked to find out he is the father of twelve year old, Bella, and that needs to be his number one priority. Carrie Ann Ryan never disappoints me when it comes to the Montgomery. This is another well written heart-wrenching steamy romance with so many feels. Who doesn’t love the Montgomery who encompass so many into their already large family. The banter is humorous and the love and carrying support expands my heart. Brooklyn and Reece’s story is extra special as it deals with loss, plus sudden unexpected parenthood. A gripping story that I could not put down. I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.
This was another hit from Carrie Ann Ryan. I loved diving into Brooklyn and Reece's story. This book kept me fully invested from page one, from meeting Reece's daughter Bella, to watching Brooklyn and Reece fall in love, to watching Reece, Brooklyn, and Bella becoming a family in their own right, this story has a little something for everyone. This story also had one of my absolute favorite tropes, grumpy x sunshine. Every time I read a book I love and later find out that it had grumpy x sunshine, I'm like oh that makes sense and Kiss Me Forever was no exception. I loved this book before I realized it had grumpy x sunshine and realizing that made me love it even more. Admittedly there were a few characters I didn't like and I found myself wincing almost every time they were on the page, however, that doesn't mean they weren't necessary to the story. These characters added a level of depth to the story that would have been missing if they did not exist. I have never been disappointed by a Carrie Ann Ryan book and I cannot wait to continue reading more from her, particularly in the Montgomery Ink universe. Spice: Ch 9, 11, 16, 17
Brooklyn Montgomery & Reece Fox (41) A heartwarming and fun read. I loved how the Fox’s and Montgomery were there to help support the unexpected development when Reece finds himself a new dad to his twelve year old daughter that he knew nothing about. The connection between Bella and Brooklyn was so sweet. I enjoyed the workplace romance with all the hidden feelings and longing that is between Reece and Brooklyn they make such a great couple.
Another great book in this series. Can’t wait for Dash.
Age Gap Workplace Romance Surprise Single Dad Tattooed & Pierced MMC Pierced FMC
I loved "Kiss Me Forever" so much! Brooklyn and Reece had incredible chemistry from the very beginning, and their enemies-to-lovers dynamic kept me hooked. Reece's gruff exterior hid such a caring heart, while Brooklyn's strength and determination made her impossible not to love. The age-gap and workplace romance added just the right amount of tension, but it was the surprise little girl who truly stole the show and brought so much heart to the story. This book was emotional, sweet, swoony, and filled with all the feels. Another wonderful romance from Carrie Ann Ryan that left me smiling long after I finished!
Wow! I absolutely loved these two … I mean three! All of the feels are in this one I tell you. Two lonely broken souls brought together by love for a grieving little girl. Their journey through the pages of this adventure are heartwarming and poignant. As always, nothing is ever easy for the Montgomerys but we love them and their giant, chaotic, loving, and yes … extended family. You will cry, you will laugh, you will gasp, and maybe even cheer. What you won’t want to do is put this book down! Enjoy … I know I did!
The characters and the storytelling are why I always pickup Carrie Ann’s books, and Brooklyn stole my heart right away. The fact that she goes through so much sadness and comes through resilient is uplifting and inspiring. Reese thinks his bachelorhood is set for the future, dream on dude. Of course he has also had his eyes on Brooklyn’s “Freckles”. And when they get together this couple will steam your glasses. This story’s mixture of trials could be depressing but is instead so hopeful. Great read.
Audio/Ebook Review: 𝑲𝒊𝒔𝒔 𝑴𝒆 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 (Montgomery Ink Legacy) by Carrie Ann Ryan
Narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Samantha Brentmoor
Ryan delivers the kind of emotion that steals your breath and owns your heart. Hamilton and Brentmoor turn sweet seduction into heartwarming romance. From hauntingly raw to tempestuously irresistible, Reece and Brooklyn are delicious. Kiss Me Forever is everything a romance should be.
A trip to visit the Montgomery family in Colorado is always worth it! Carrie Ann Ryan hits another home run with Brooklyn and Reece. Their story is steamy, heart-warming, and of course it has a happily ever after! Following the characters as they develop from coworkers to lovers, and build their own unique family will warm your heart and have you cheering for them the entire time. A wonderful read!
There is no right amount of time to grieve, let alone move on, so Brooklyn has just been going through the motions. Work.. family.. repeat cause what else is there after everything you thought was laid out for you is no more. So why is she having feelings other than annoyance for her growly coworker? Especially seeing him manage an unexpected daughter. But what role does she have in this, and what does she want it to be?
Kiss Me Forever, book 10 of the Montgomery Ink Legacy series, by Carrie Ann Ryan @carrieannryanauthor. Carrie Ann is an amazing author! This is a spin-off from the Montgomery Ink series.
Aww, I loved this book about Brooklyn & Reese so much! Tropes: Contemporary, Female/Male, Surprise Single Dad, Boss/Employer, Age Gap, Family Drama from Exes Families, No 3rd Act Break Up & HEA!
Brooklyn and Reese have a complicated relationship when they work together and try to not fall for each other. When Reese discovers he has a daughter it is Brooklyn who helps him navigate the new reality he finds himself in. Slowly they find their rhythm and soon they become a family. This is a beautiful, steamy age-gap romance with the usual Montgomery family shenanigans.
Kiss Me Forever is an uplifting age gap, single dad, slow burn, grumpy/sunshine, forbidden workplace romance that will leave you feeling hopeful. Carrie Ann Ryan has a gift for breaking your heart then gently puttingitback together. To witness the love blossom between Brooklyn and Reece and see them become a family is truly heartwarming. I eagerly await Dash's story!
