I'm a huge fantasy lover and began my journey as an author writing The Wrath of Raghnall which I later shortened to Raghnall's Wrath (new adult fantasy.)
After the pandemic, I began writing contemporary Rom-Com as I felt like I needed something to laugh at and many of my readers felt the same. Screw it! was born and became a hit with my readers.
I will continue to dapple with different genres though, I doubt I will change to a pen name for any. I am immensely proud of all my books and will continue to put my name to any/all works.
A few things about me:

I'm a mother to a beautifully demented little boy with ASD and GDD. He loves nothing more than to cause mischief and stalk away laughing maniacally. When my miniature bond villain isn't leaving a trail of destruction behind him, he can be found doting on our two dogs.
When I'm not busy running around after my son— you can find me curled up with a paperback or Kindle in hand—occasionally the odd Audiobook.

Another absolute masterpiece from Shauna.. this books is epic and I loved every second I spent reading it( I 100% would have devoured this quicker if I hadn’t been comatose from medication 😅) I loved Tiernan and I loved Fiadh… but DAMMMNN CASSIAS had my whole heart and more 😍 I’m not going to give anything away but if your read another book this year make it this one you will not be disappointed… the plot 10/10 ..the spice 10/10… the banter and sarcasm 100/10… this book made me giggle, blush and sob…

I was lucky enough to get to read this as an ARC read, i am so glad i did.
We know shauna can do a dark MMC but she went even more into it with Tiernan, he is a dark one who you will love and does not have a chance to go soft. He will push Fiadh to her limits all for a good reason.
Shauna handles some touchy subjects with absolute care and consideration.
When you meet Cassias he will steal the show, He had be laughing so much with the witty one liners he comes out with.
I cannot wait to see where shauna will take this series, if this is the first book i have very high hopes the rest will be even more gripping.

yet another amazing story from shauna!!!
this story follows the journey of Fiadh and Tiernan along with all of their friends and family, it's dark, it's bloody, it's definitely depraved and you won't be able to put it down,
don't go in to this expecting hearts and flowers or an epic lover story because you will be disappointed, yes there's a love story but it's more about discovering who she is and where they come from then how they fight their way back to each other,
I can't wait for the next book to see how they are going to battle it out with their enemies

Beautiful piece of fantasy.... loved the characters.... loved their banter.... was especially floored by the initial chapters (trigger warnings, practical guide etc). Very well written, immersive and now can't wait for book 2.

As you all know, I am the biggest fan of Shauna's writing and having read everything she's written (so far), I can confirm that she can do no wrong!
This book forms the start of a new series and is the first of the Veilbound Saga featuring the most wonderful cast of diverse characters which we waste no time getting to know - courtesy of the characters themselves.
After reading the initial practical guides, I felt as though I already knew all the major players and in true Shauna style, there's no beating around the bush - we know exactly what we're letting ourselves in for, even before the story gets going.
Now, there are a fair few characters to get to grips with, but it really doesn't take long to learn who's who and see the hierarchy and dynamics at play amongst the groups.
Being the first book in this series we spend some time laying the foundations and along with the character introductions, we also see some brilliant world building too.
The writing here is beautifully descriptive and transports us right into the heart of Tiernan's Ossory Court.
As soon as I laid eyes (and ears!) on Fiadh, I knew I was going to fall in love with this sassy, feisty and of course mouthy little madam.
We also instantly know where things might be heading and I couldn't get enough of the banter between our main characters - not only were there some tense moments, but these were interspersed with the usual humour that makes Shauna's books so much fun to read and so unique.
I'm not giving any more clues or spoilers, but did I mention that we're here to spend a few hours in the company of this group of wild and depraved vampires!!?
With characters that will steal your heart and a storyline that will leave you wide-eyed and have your heart racing!

This is a superb start to the Veilbound Saga. With a family of characters that would kill for one another, banter and dialogue that can make you blush, laugh, or feel the suspense, pain, or tension on the pages.
Told from the viewpoint of multiple characters, a world of vampires comes to life.
This was super easy to get my teeth into (pun intended). I can really get into a series with characters I know I'll love and hate with a story to tell.
This book is only the beginning, and I just know things are going to kick up a notch in book two!

The books a great read written perfectly it didnt drag it was well paced the plot was great the spice was there all in all i couldnt ask for a better stoy line 🤣

Ok so where do I start?
This books is Dark, the MMC is not dark, he is a straight up villain and yet he’s my new favourite MMC.
The FMC hits the mark in every way, she doesn’t care and won’t be told what to do or when to do it. The ‘side characters’ absolutely make this story even more entertaining and I think I’m obsessed to see what they do next.
My favourite shadow daddy is absolutely Tiernan because having no morals isn’t a thing 😍

Wow, such a dark and gripping read!
This book is intense, brutal, and absolutely unforgettable.
Check the trigger warnings, but trust me, it’s worth every page. Can’t wait for the next one!

"You're dangerous tonight." "I've always been dangerous, you're just noticing."
"Everyone is either feeding, flirting, or fucking."
This book had me absolutely enthralled from start to finished. Echoes of Ember is jam-packed full of action, drama, sarcasm, violence with some sprinkled in. It was amazing to me how much Shauna was able to portray with such few words. Her words, phrases, descriptions, everything is precise and intentional.
While reading, I could feel Tiernan's power and disdain in the beginning and I could feel him evolving as the story progressed. Fiadh had me rooting for her CONSTANTLY. She is FIERCE. I want to be Fiadh when I grow up, she's inspirational.
The banter was everything in this book too and not just between Tiernan and Fiadh, but everyone. Every character bites back at each other. Hilarious zingers getting thrown out in every single chapter. Phrases so clever that I found myself highlighting this book more that any other book I've read to date.
If you like violence, vampires, fast paced storyline, spice, veilwalkers - then this is for you!!

When I tell you this book is dark and depraved, I mean it. Add in bloody and brutal and you have this master piece!

as soon as I saw Shauna writing a vampire book, i had to read it.
I really enjoyed this book and all the characters, especially Fiadh and Tiernan. The fire and passion they have towards each other from the get-go is so intense, but you know whats coming. There is lots of action in every sense 😉 that keeps you wanting to read more. if you like these sort of books you won't be disappointed

Thank you so much to Shauna for giving me the opportunity to be an arc reader for this upcoming book. This was my first ever book from her and I’ll definitely be reading more from her, I found her writing amazing and it was so easy to follow. Fiadh has to be on the list of my favorite fmc’s and I really enjoyed the magic system she created. I cannot wait to read more from Shauna.

What can I say? Another fabulous book from Richmond full of banter, spice, and sass - loved it! The whole troupe of characters were fun and enjoyable to read about, especially Fiadh and Tiernan and their rollercoaster of a relationship.
This was a fast-paced, page-turner, and I can't wait to read more in this world.

This is a brand new fantasy series by Shauna and its deliciously dark and filled with sass and suspense!
We have a whole family of characters but the story mainly centres around Fiadh and Tiernan. This book had me hooked right from the beginning with the trigger warnings ill be honest. Not because of what they were but because of how they were put across, you'll have to read the book to understand.😉
My favourite character from this was, without a shadow (daddy) of a doubt, Cassias! He's just perfect tbh, the sass, the humour, the arrogance... I love it all!!
