Speed and his friends are back in a rip-roaring original manga that includes thrilling races, a mad scientist, a killer robot, and the destruction of the Mach 5 itself?!
It begs the question to be asked: "Is it the man that makes the machine or the machine that makes the man?"
Working professional screenwriter represented by Resolution and Circle of Confusion. I have sold or optioned six spec screenplays and I have been hired by studios for numerous rewrites. Currently I have two movies in post-production, STUCK and THE CLOSET. Both are due to be released in 2014.
My first novel, a thriller titled FORTY ACRES, is scheduled for release by Simon & Schuster July 1st, 2014.
This is a fun little Speed Racer manga that was published in '07 by the excellent Seven Seas Press. While this is written and drawn by Americans, the art is excellent and has that authentic manga look. The plot is a lot of fun, with Speed battling a cyborg driver. There's also quite a bit of death and adult content so this is for older fans of Speed Racer. This fits more easily into cartoon continuity than movie continuity, but should be enjoyed by fans of either. Good fun, I hope they make more.
The title of my book is,”Speed Racer.” The author of my book is Chase Wheeler. I liked the book. The main setting of this book is a race mountain. The main characters are Chim-Chim, Speed, Pops, Mom, Trixie, and Spritle. The main conflict is that Speed has big race on the race mountain, but there are some guys who try to have a secret plan to win. It doesn’t work, Speed ends up winning and everybody is happy. I would recommend this book to others. I would recommend this book to people who like racing books, or like good racers.
when a mean guy gets killed in a race his father makes a cyborg out of him, he is still mean as a robot and kidnaps trixie for a grudge match with speed, racer x back story mentioned. B/W drawn images, comic book.
