A cute intro to a new Daddy Security series!
A new Daddy Security series! Yay! I'm sitting here trying to figure out the logistics of this new Daddy Guard series. It seems very specific to helping littles. How do they find these littles in trouble? What if they find innocents that aren't littles? Will they help them anyway? I can just picture all of Jack's Daddy cop buddies joining his team. I can't wait!
Anyway, about this story- Iris is led to Auntie Athena's Nursery and finds safety, love and acceptance 💕 and also her very own Daddy! The whole sweet plot seems a little - no pun intended - contrived and insta-everything but in a wonderful way. We really need some background info on her friend Elena. How did she and Iris meet? How do they know each other? How did Jack not know Iris didn't have a cell phone? Quite a few questions. Needed to be tightened up.
Other info- There are no bottles, cribs, or pacifiers in this book. Diapers, yes. Little space almost 24/7. No real violence either. Kidnapping- yes, violence- no. No one currently dies. There are some typos that distract from the story but not too badly. Overall a good prequel of this new Daddy Security series. I will keep reading. 4 stars!

What an absolutely fantastic start to a brilliant series. Iris is a little and she has just met Auntie Athena at the West Hollywood Nursery which she owned and allowed Littles all over the city, come to play. Auntie Athena recognised something in Iris that she needed help somehow. Detective Jack Kimble is a daddy and a police officer, and when he meets Iris, he is instantly attracted to her. I enjoyed this story of how these two characters fell in love and developed their relationship. There was lots of action involved, and when Iris is taken by one of Jack’s enemies who was his best friend in the police force, but is now a criminal, Jack and his friends set up a rescue operation which then leads to them finding Iris and catching the bad guys. This leads to a group of investors starting up the daddy guard operation to protect other Littles who need help in the Hollywood area. This looks like it’s going to be a fantastic series and I can’t wait to read it to the entirety.

What an excellent start to a full adventure action packed, protected people who will do anything for those they care about! I love this story it will is very interesting with lots of potential for the this upcoming series every thing I have read by this author I have loved so far! One of the things I love is the found family they have , many mystery let leave wanting answers waiting at the edge of your seat among others. This beautiful book is heartbreaking, heartwarming, adorable characters, full of fast paced energy, it’s relatable in my opinion especially with how the main woman feels throughout the read lots of insecurities that the lovely auntie tries to help with. If you read some of my reviews before you know I love me so men in uniform and there is that I can’t wait to see where this epic series continues! It ends in way let makes me want more right away and satisfy news! Much enjoy reading this it’s got an age gap, determination vibes, and much more to pull you in all the way easier a binge reading, funny moments guaranteed!

An excellent start to a new exciting series.
Iris really is a cutie. She makes the best of what she has while trying to better her life circumstances. Unfortunately the knocks keep on coming. Until she meets Jack and Athena.
Jack had been looking for his Little for a long time, knowing immediately that Iris is the one for him. He is one Hot Daddy!
I liked the secondary story winding through, it is thrilling and has dangerous notes complementing Jack's career choice. I saw a few of the twists coming, but it was still suspenseful as more information was revealed.
I would like to see more of Elena in future books and learn how she met Iris and Auntie Athena. I absolutely adored Benson and look forward to seeing more of him.

This is a very good, well written, action packed, DD/lg romance. It is the start of a series and it should be good. Iris lived in poverty although she had two jobs. A friend of hers introduces her to the West Hollywood Nursery. There she meets Jack, a LAPD detective. They have an instant connection. Read how he comes to her rescue when she is vacated from the small apartment and becomes her Daddy.

Great start to a new series - but be aware the Littles play very young, think diaper age. Good storyline about a Little on her own and her meeting her Daddy, a police detective. A couple of Aunties, a Daddy Security Guard and a few friends round out the story. The writing is good, not overly flowery, but descriptive enough to enhance the story.

Iris pulled at my heartstrings from the beginning, I felt for her. I was happy when she found Auntie's and Daddy Jack, I enjoyed how they welcomed her and gave her a place to live. Jack is a detective on the hunt for a arms dealer, Such a good fast paced story. I couldn't stop reading it. Looking for to more in this wonderful new series,

A Little Girl Who Doesn't Get I Trouble All The Time
Iris isn't the usual Little girl. She doesn't get into trouble very often. Jack is a loving and not as harsh Daddy as usual. This story is really good, like most Amy Cummings books. You won't be sorry to read this starting of a brand new series.

I have read many of Amy Cummings books. I like the way that they all tie in to a great story with great characters. I like a good sexy scene like everybody else however. Amy Cummings characters are not all about the sexy scenes. They're really good. Storylines.

A sweet story…
A sweet story that treats the age play community with enormous respect. Iris, the FMC is sweet, smart and resilient. The MMC is a strong daddy with clear priorities and whose actions are aligned with his values. No surprises. A short, sweet story. Would have loved to read how Iris turned a kidnapper into a protective ally.

Amy Cummings strikes again! This is the cutest story about how Iris and Jack meet and how The Daddy Guard is formed. I can already tell I am going to love this series! Iris, as Littles usually do, gets caught in a bad situation and Daddy Jack along with her Uncles race to rescue her. You will all love this sweet story!

I enjoyed this alot it is fairly quick and has a lot of cute little moments jack is so sweet and is a really good cop the plot is amazing and the spice is done nicely.

Daddy’s Pursuit is the first installment in Amy Cummings’ The Daddy Guard series. It chronicles the romantic journey of Iris Dawson and Detective Jack Kimble. She iss a homeless Lg all alone. He is a DD and a police detective and a member of the Daddy Guard. They meet at a club land there is a connection. The shambled apartment she rented was gone when a new owner arrived, thereby making her homeless. While attempting to gain financial security, Iris agrees to attend a party and in doing so, she would earn a large amount of money. Unbeknownst to Iris, the host in a criminal under Jack’s investigation. Will Iris and Jack find happiness? Will Iris be safe? To find out, you must read this book.
I find Ms. Cumming’s writing style easy to follow. Her characters are likeable and multi-dimensional. The storyline is enjoyable with a perfect blend of drama, romance, and suspense. The plot is well thought out. I liked Hamel’s use of a two-prong plot line. One follows the romantic journey of the lead characters. The other is the as they navigate their future within their DD/lg dynamic and their growing support family. The result is a riveting romantic suspense story. Nicely done!

This is my first book by this author and it was fun. I took a break from the series I was reading to try a different author and am happy that I enjoyed it (that doesn't always happen). The story itself was really good but it felt a little rushed near the end and I went through it really fast. Will probably continue the series but not immediately.

What a delightful start to this new series! I just knew from the very beginning that I would need more of these stories! Little Iris has had it hard and doesn’t know where she will end up. When she meets Jack, a detective, she just knows in her heart that he could be the Daddy for her. I really enjoyed reading about all these new characters and could envision each of their stories. If this story is anything to base it on, then I just know I’m in for a treat. Iris is so sweet and Jack is all alpha Daddy, with a heart. Quite a bit goes on in this story to keep you constantly entertained. I look forward to more intriguing stories in this series!
