The Moments Series #2

Set the Moment

Rate this book
A second chance at love, life, and pissing Sienna Jones off.

It had been 615 days, 2 hours, and 16 minutes since he last saw her. In less than 72 hours, he'd bought a dance studio. In ten minutes, she cursed him out and ditched him in said studio. Then, three minutes later, he found her list—and in one second, he changed the trajectory of her life with a single sentence.

Sienna Jones didn’t have a plan—she had a list. A perfectionist by nature, she was tired of trying to live up to that image. So, she made a list of all the imperfect things she’d never done in her “perfect” life, and by her 21st birthday, she was determined to complete it. Until he crashed back into her life, throwing everything off course.

After being left dazed and confused on a rooftop, Jace Heart now wants three answers, to help Sienna complete her list, and for her to use him to do it.

Thank you for the opportunity to be apart of your ARC readers! Now onto the review… 😌

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Need I say more? I shall anyways…

I LOVED Sienna & Jace!

First thing I want to emphasize is what many other reviewers have said before me and that is that Ziye handles the delicate topics being discussed in this book with incredible grace and elegance. Complete with an extensive and detailed trigger warning list, I felt very seen from the get. Lots of authors are getting on board with this and I always want to commend an author for keeping their readers hearts and minds in mind when they put their books out.

All of the characters in this book were written to be human (surprise!) but I honestly can’t think of a better way to describe this! Every character was real. Complicated and complex and raw in a way that felt good as a reader to connect to. No one was safe from developing. That in and of itself is the beauty of creativity. When you can truly picture and imagine your characters as real, flawed, human being with the ability to change and grow is what I love most about reading and writing as a whole and I believe Ziye does an incredible job of doing that with this book.

The quickest way to my heart is when I see girls being girls girls in books. Give me a good, healthy female relationship ANYDAY. 🥹💜

Okay this is the part when I get to SPICE. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

YUM? Ziye fed me a whole meal with this. Jace was ON IT and by on it, I mean on the floor, on his knees, begging and pleading and yearning and being disgustingly yummy. The man who yearns, earns, baby and Jace took that to next LEVEL.

All in all?

Can’t wait for the next one. BYE!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for choosing me to read the ARC of Set the Moment. From the moment I met Sienna I saw myself in her and from the moment I met Jace and learned of their love I knew this was going to be a great story! From childhood lovers to having a second chance at romance these two were in fact meant for each other. Ziyé never fails to remind me of what childhood love feels like and don’t get me started on the spice cause when I heard “Use Me” I already knew what it wasssss! Jace and Sienna are magnets drawn to each other and the found family dynamic just beautiful. The emotional depth of this story was raw and realistic I think these two will live in my head rent free🩷

Loved their love!
Sienna Jones was lucky enough to meet the love of her life when she was young, but she wasn’t ready for Jace Heart back then. It’s been 2 years since they last kissed, and Jace wants nothing more than to be back in her life. Now she’s bout to be 21 and she tryna complete her list, runs into her Jacey baby and he’s like USE ME!

Well when a man says use him… USE HIM.

I don’t know why so many books I’m reading lately has chasing scenes but *in my DJ Khaled voice* ANOTHER ONEEEE

Three stars because I thought the writing was good, but LORD the mmc, Jace, was absolutely insufferable. I did not like this man from beginning to end and that made me so sad.

So here’s the thing, Jace is down BADDD from the beginning. This is the definition of “only having eyes for her”. That was nice in the first few chapters and I understood that they had history and have known eachother for a while…. But he continued to come on a little too strong, to the point of it being cringey and off putting. Like y’all haven’t seen one another for two years, please stop calling her your girl in every single internal monologue and acting possessive when you’ve barely interacted. Additionally, anytime he said “angel”, my eye twitched a bit.

I also thought the book would also highlight a bit more of Sierra’s journey and growth as a dancer, and that was honestly thrown to the side. Even her list of 21 before 21 was thrown to the side (and why wouldn’t it after Jace told her she would not be fulfilling certain things on her list because she was his and only his.) UGH! 😤

Finally, is it just me or was there more chemistry and potential between her and Derek rather than her and Jace?! I could see a cute dislike to lovers, single dad, daughter’s teacher situation going on there. There was tension, I cannot have imagined it.

Thank you Ziye’ Taylor for this ARC. All opinions are my own.

“I love you to Saturn and back.”

Firstly I would like to give thanks to Ziye' Taylor for this ARC copy of Set the Moment. My moments of this book was from chapter 48 to the ending – it really felt like reading magic! The way that Jace spoke about Sienna will forever stay with me because this is how a male main character is supposed to think about his love interest – with a crazy amount of love and care. Sometimes I did feel like the main characters' actions were a bit childish considering their ages. My biggest problem was how long it took for Sienna to announce her relationship with Jace. By the time we got to the announcement it wasn’t too heartwarming to say that there was a major build up towards it. I wish there were more moments centered around Sienna’s list and childhood memories between her and Jace. I didn’t truly understand Jace’s and Cleo’s friendship – I know they are best friends but I really didn’t get that from the two. I felt like he had more of a friendship with Derek and Georgia.

P.S. it is on sight with Daisy…

I received this book as an ARC.

This book took me a bit of an emotional roller coaster with Ms.Sienna Jones. My overachiever seeking validation and love from her absent and emotional neglectful parents since a child she had one boy always in her corner Jace Heart. After a new year’s kiss she ghosts her bestie Jace for the last two years.

Sienna needs a new start and reconnects with Jace as his new dance teacher. Jace happens to stubble across her 21 before 21 list and let just say that when the fun begins. We embark on a journey of our two exploring and building their relationship. From childhood crushes to college sweethearts!

It was a cute book.

*ARC Review *
I'm sad to say it, but I really struggled with this. Maybe I'm just not a fan of this writing style, but it felt very young to me. The dialogue and character thoughts/reactions felt more like early teens than people in their early 20s. I didn't feel the chemistry between the MCs, so I didn't buy into the jealousy or lust. I think minus the spice, this would be a great book for yount teens.

Thank you for the ARC!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I would like to start by saying that in comparison to the first book I would give this one 3 1/2 stars (3 stars would be too low I need a half star rating option). Second chance/childhood friends aren’t my go to tropes because I like to see the beginning of how characters build trust and I don’t really get to see connection being built sometimes.

There were some things that really bothered me. I don’t like how Sienna was forced to quit teaching the minis ballet because Jace somehow bought the studio, it was something she enjoyed doing and was just given up way too easily. Also she would ignore her dance partner and leave practice early like their performance coming up isn’t super important to her grade and to her in general. I didn’t really feel like we got any closure to Daisy (dance partner) either, she just disappeared.

Now I do love when MMC is obsessed and I’m always a fan of girl groups and their friendships. All the characters felt like they had a place and even if they had some secrets they were all there for one another.

A bucket list is always a nice touch. I loved the amusement park adventure and even though I’m not a fan of couple matching tattoos, I think Jaces idea was super cute and a great way to tie in their childhood to their present relationship.

Also honorable mention any type of care taking is a huge plus. Jace removing makeup and actually braiding Siennas hair and putting a bonnet on her while she’s drunk before bed is spectacular.

I can’t wait for the next book, this one might not have spoke to me as much as the first one, but Ziyé has a real talent for writing and the group of characters she’s started with is incredible.

🔥 Steam: 3.5/5
⚡ Tropes: boy-obsessed MMC, second chance romance, bucket list, dancer x hockey player, secret dating

Ziye Taylor really gave us a second-chance romance that feels like a warm hug with a little kick of spice.

Sienna Jones has always been a perfectionist focused, disciplined, chasing her dreams and never letting herself get distracted. But once upon a time, she had a taste of what it meant to lose control with Jace Heart. He wasn’t just her almost-lover, he was the one who got away. Two years later, she’s almost 21, tackling her bucket list, and who does she run into? Yep. Jace, her golden retriever of a man, who has been quietly yearning and waiting for her to be ready. And when he tells her “Use me” he means it. And honestly? Who wouldn’t take him up on that offer?

The chemistry between these two is undeniable from the very first page. Their banter, the push and pull, the way Sienna tries to keep her walls up while Jace gently (and sometimes playfully) tears them down it’s addictive. Jace is the kind of MMC that makes you want to throw your Kindle across the room in frustration at real-life men. He’s sweet, attentive, and absolutely gone for Sienna, but he’s also patient. He gives her room to grow, room to stumble, and room to realize that maybe she can have love without losing herself.

One of the highlights of this book is the found-family/friend group dynamic. It adds a layer of warmth and humor that balances beautifully with the heavier themes of perfectionism, pressure, and self-doubt. Those family-like moments late-night banter, protectiveness, laughter, make Sienna and Jace’s romance feel bigger than just the two of them. It’s love rooted in community, support, and acceptance.

Ziye doesn’t shy away from real struggles either. Behind the swoon and the bucket list antics are moments of raw vulnerability. Sienna’s internal battles and Jace’s unrelenting devotion made me feel every high and low of their journey. And when the fun, flirty energy collides with those moments of emotional depth? That’s where this story shines brightest.

Was it perfect? Not quite—I found some pacing moments dragged slightly in the middle—but honestly, the sweetness, yearning, and humor made up for it tenfold.

Thank you to Ziye Taylor for the ARC—Sienna and Jace now officially live rent-free in my head. 💛

I love this book. I am so grateful to have gotten an arc for it. Now when I finished Capture the moment I was 100% sure Derek and Sienna & Georgia and Jace would end up together. I was shocked when I found out I was wrong but for the first time in probably ever I was happy to be wrong. God I loved Sienna and Jace’s love story so much I can’t put it into words. It was sweet and emotional and overall such a good story. Also SPOILER ALERT!! I must say the moment Georgia was talking about her dream wedding and getting married in Vegas I KNEW SHE WAS GONNA HAVE A ACCIDENTAL MARRIAGE IN VEGAS. Expect I was NOT expecting who I think she got married too. NOW nothing is confirmed that it was Georgia who got married but I’m like 99.99999999%sure. Sienna’s story broke me as it hit quite close to home (without the famous parents) but the more I read about her and her struggles the more I fell in love with her. AND THE LETTERS. I couldn’t control my tears. Anyway I’m getting carried away, please read this book guys I actually don’t know what else to say I’m speechless I loved it sm🥲 I was shocked when I found out how young the author is cause her books are so well written.

First and foremost, thank you Ziye’ for letting me a part of the ARC team and letting me read this story.

Now let’s get into this review. I want to first address that I need Jace Eros Heart IMMEDIATELY. This man is HOT and knows what the hell he wants. And the yearning???? YES. I’d fold for him so mf fast let me tell you.

Sienna and her being a perfectionist broke my heart bc a lot of it stemmed from her family. Her found family better ANYWAYS.

I hate a miscommunication trope BUUUUT I love when a woman can own up to her mistakes. Then the chasing? From the FMC? Loved that.

My only con is that I did have to keep going back to view Sienna’s list to find out what they were marking off and there were parts that were a bit confusing to me.

I really enjoyed this book!! I was fortunate enough to get an eARC. I love a good sports romance! Jace and Sienna were such a beautiful couple. I loved their story and I loved how amazing Jace was to Sienna! I love how this book contains a found family as well. Sienna was dealt a crap hand with her parents, but she found her family in her friends and Jace’s family. They were meant to be and I’m glad the for their HEA!

Ziye can do no wrong. For us overthinking girlies, this was such a relatable book. So many twists and turns, my anxiety was high throughout (in a good way)!
I can’t decide who I love more though; Sienna or Jace. Who do I have a bigger crush on honestly.

ARC kindly provided for the author in exchange for an honest review

I had high expectations for Jace & Sienna's story, but it left me with very mixed feelings: I think they were both characters with a lot of potential, their personal stories are very interesting, especially hers and the bond they share, but I think things happen very quickly, and that makes the situation between these characters feel very rushed. However, I'm already completely attached to these characters and I'm dying to know who's next after that ending, and to read Derek!

Sienna is a character I could relate to, especially her need to always get perfect grades in school, to be perfect, and to prove to her parents how much she's worth, which was deeply sad. But it also made me love her friendship with Jace, her relationship with Cleo & Georgia, and the unconditional support she receives from Uncle Clef even more.

Jace is my favorite character from this author so far! A funny, charming guy who's willing to do ANYTHING to win Sienna's heart, something I loved, even though his methods seemed a little crazy to me. I liked that his family situation is totally different from hers, that he's a hockey player but also an artist, and that he can be himself around Sienna. However, I this time I missed Ziye' giving me more moments with the guys on the team to learn a little more about the type of relationships Jace has with each of them, something he did give me in the previous book and that I hope to see in the next one.

Something I liked about Sienna & Jace was getting small glimpses into their past together to learn a little more about the bond they share, but despite that, I couldn't fully connect with their love story. As I said, I think some situations happen too quickly, others are only touched on briefly (like Daisy's attitude toward Sienna), and there were also moments where I had a hard time understanding Sienna's reactions to Jace and her feelings for him, which broke my heart because the book started off so well.

Spice: 3/5 stars (I loved that the spice was not too overpowering and the main focus of this book).
Tropes and Themes: Second chance, Hockey Boy, She fwll first but he fell so much harder, Dancer Girl, Secret dating, he is obsessed with her, She is secretly obsessed with him just as much as he is, First time for her, Bucket list.

This is the first book of Ziye's I have read and I enjoyed it so much that I went back and read the first in the series (Capture the Moment). This book was fun and the perfect book for me to read in between much heavier books. The tension and banter between Sienna and Jace was perfect. Jace spent the entire book being obsessed with Sienna and I ate it up. When Jace finds her list he goes all in trying to help her accomplish everything and also trying to make her see that he has always loved her.
When a man enthusiastically begs you to use him and tosses money around the way Jace did, what else are you supposed to do besides at least give him a chance lol.

At first the misunderstandings and years of unresolved emotions between them was proving to be too much but Jace refused to have the past repeat itself and he forced Sienna to confront her past and her emotions towards him. He was very patient with her once he made his intentions clear. Sienna on the other hand was worried about the blow back of them being together because of familial ties (which she didn't need to worry about at all). The realistic way the friendships changed and grew within their group was sweet and refreshing!

Their love story was sweet and years overdue but everything happens for a reason.
The banter and fun interactions between not only the main characters but the side characters as well really sell the story and world of the The Moment series.

Though some moments were dragged and a little repeative, Ziye does such a good job of keeping you engaged in the storyline and rooting for everyone involved in the main characters' lives.

Thank you Ziye Taylor for the ARC- Sienna and Jace are two cuties and I love them and their whole friend group.

This book was SO good! This was my second Ziye' Taylor book... the first one was so good, I literally asked to be on her ARC team because I love and believe in her writing so much. That and the fact that this MMC, Jace Heart, I fell in love with in book one - Capture the Moment. This is the 2nd book in The Moments Series.

This book follows Jace Heart and Sienna Jones. Jace is a hockey star at SFU and the best friend of Cleo Jones, who happens to be Sienna Jones cousin. Sienna and Jace have know each other from childhood and Jace has been in love with her since he was eight. Unfortunately, geography was never a good thing for them because as children, Sienna lived in California and Jace lived in Maryland, near Cleo. They did happen to see each other 2 years earlier, on Sienna's 19th birthday, prior to reconnecting at a ballet recital for his friend Derrick's little girl. After reconnecting, Jace can't get her out of his head and tries EVERYTHING to win her over... including helping the little perfectionist complete items from a bucket list that she created of imperfect things to do before her 21st birthday on December 31st. The only thing that Jace wants is Sienna and if that means her using him to complete her bucket list, then so be it.

This is the sweetest book with some of the best spice scenes EVER! I love all of their friends and the found family aspect of this book is just too perfect. I really can't wait until the next book in this series comes out. Capture the Moment it out now and I suggest you pick that book up. Set the Moment is due out October 2nd and when the 3rd book comes out I will be adding it to my every expanding TBR, but if books keep popping up that are this good, then expand away!

If you like any of the following, this book is for you:

❤️Sports Romance
❤️Forbidden Romance
❤️Forced Proximity
❤️Who Hurt You
❤️Found Family
❤️He Falls First and Harder
❤️Banter out of this world

Okay, I adored this book. Ziye’ Taylor gave us a second-chance romance that was equal parts sweet, funny, and full of heart. Set the Moment follows Sienna, a perfectionist dancer who’s spent her whole life chasing control, and Jace, the hockey player she once let slip away. When they collide again years later, right as she’s tackling her “bucket list of imperfect things”, the sparks are immediate, and let’s just say the boy has been down bad for her this whole time.

The chemistry between Sienna and Jace was magnetic. Their banter had me smiling, their tension had me kicking my feet, and their emotional growth hit hard. Jace is absolutely the golden retriever MMC of dreams...patient, loyal, and completely obsessed in the best way possible. And Sienna’s journey toward letting go of perfection and learning to live for herself was such a highlight.

Ziye’ balances the flirty, fun energy with heartfelt vulnerability so well. Between the found family vibes, bucket-list adventures, and the slow unraveling of old feelings, this book felt like being wrapped in a warm hug with a little bit of chaos and spice sprinkled in. Some pacing moments were a touch uneven, but honestly, I didn’t care. I was too invested in these two and their messy, beautiful story.

Sienna and Jace’s love felt earned, sweet, imperfect, and just so easy to root for. I ended this book, smiling and already missing their little world.

ARC review. Sienna needs a change in her life, and decides to create a “21 by 21” list. Unfortunately, that list ends up in the hands of Jace. Once childhood crushes, they’re now at odds. But there’s something she doesn’t realize: Jace still loves her, and he’s not walking away this time.

Takes place at the same the time as Capture the Moment. Sienna is a sweet soul. She’s attempting to rebuild herself in her own image—no neglectful parents, no awful dance competitors, no picture-perfect image. But she’s also sheltered and awkward, and her trauma acts out on the person closest to her. There are times where Sienna is so lost in her memories the plot kind of progresses around her; normally the non-linear read isn’t my thing but it just works here for me. It’s a cheeky way to cut through some of the fluff and really frames her chaotic state of mind (I can relate to the zoning out for sure). Jace plays hot and cold. He has some hurt there, but he’s always loved her, and he’s not above scheming to get the girl. He’s under all kinds of pressure but he’s determined to make Sienna Jones his girl, even if he makes mistakes along the way. Both these characters are wonderfully flawed, but lovable, and their messy love makes them feel real. It’s an exploration of desire and fantasy, with some great moments of humor.

Okay but like…I love this book. First of all Ziye’s writing is beautiful. I love the way Sienna and Jace feel throughout the story. We get their raw emotions and thoughts and I think that makes you connect with them more than anything. I love a list too!! Because something about checking off some things before turning a new age just sits WELL WITH MY SPIRIT.

I love how Sienna is such a representation of how you can have flaws. I felt very connected to her because I too feel like I live a life similar to that and it’s hard out here. She was very relatable and I feel like many women can resonate with her story. From everything she dealt with and experienced, she kept going and I think thats what made me feel so close to her. She’s really a boss and I admired her.

Jace is such a book boyfriend. I truly adored him so much. I love that he was all about Sienna and showed it in every way. He was everything and more. I love a man who tells a woman he’s down bad for that she can use him. Like YESSSS.

The BANTER in this book….UNMATCHED! I mean handed on a silver platter and full on tension. The way I was on the edge of my seat. I was eating it up. It showed lots of connection, and also two people who really deserve each other.

Thank you Ziye for letting me read your story again! And also letting me be apart of the process. I adore you and can’t wait for the next book.

Only one chapter in and I was in awe with Jace's pov, that man cares!! I instantly fell in love with the writing, it's like I am right there with them and especially the significance of Sienna, he relates to! That man is in LOVE and he doesn't regret it!!

Chapter 4 Jace's POV and I was listening to songs when a Bollywood song came along, it matched perfectly. Anyways, if I want a guy to be daring, this is how daring he should be like Jace freaking Heart ❤️ and this time he's not taking the second chance for granted at all, wow! And Sienna is such a sweetheart omg! I love her! I understand how she feels and to have someone by your side with all the love, care and support! Oh that's a luxury she thought she could never have until him!! They are just made for each other. I didn't wanna leave them at all. This read is perfect holiday read imo so make sure read it now or add it to your tbr!

What more do you need me to say! Can I just highlight the whole book? Inner monologues/ povs 🤌 they flow so naturally that I thought I was right there with them!

Hey @authorziyetaylor, thank you for sending me the ARC! I just finished “Capture the Moment” and really loved for Cleo and Blake, so I knew I had to dive into this book ASAP!

Sienna is like me—someone who’s battled trust and abandonment issues. I totally get her journey of opening up to those closest to her. And wow, I loved how lucky she was to have such amazing girl friends, even though she couldn’t see it then how much they all would have fully supported her and her choices. They were all such girls girls, and I’m all for that kind of energy! 🩷

Jace! What a teddy bear (with claws as needed🙂‍↔️). SiSi is totally smitten with him, and it was so funny and sweet at the same time. He’s got the patience of a saint. He was so understanding and supportive, giving SiSi the safe space she needed to grow into the woman she wanted to be.

Overall, I had a blast reading this book. I didn’t initially think our main characters would be SiSi and Jace with how book 1 in the series was depicted, but I’m so glad it was them. These two are just perfect for each other!

Thank you so much to the author for the ARC opportunity! I had such a fun time reading this, the premise was cute and cliché but it definitely held its own in the genre.

Sienna was very guarded throughout the book due to her lack of support from family, but the one character that was here for her the entirety was Jace Heart. Jace is the ultimate golden retriever MMC who is extremely possessive and very thoughtful. I loved the chapters and flashback scenes from Jace's POV the most because the way he described Sienna as an angel or how his cocky image changed around her to sweet had me kicking my feet.

I had a blast reading the two check off items from Sienna's wishlist and how they fell for one another more each time they checked off a milestone. Even though the plot was fast paced, I found myself still aching for the two to confess their feelings earlier! I loved the mutual yearning! Sienna's growth was well earned, and she definitely blossomed by the end of the book, I loved to see her shine on her own in addition to when with Jace.

First off, after reading CTM I’m sooo glad I got to read this as an ARC.

Secondly, Blake and Cleo, move over. My new fav couple has entered the chat.

This was the cutest love story ever.

To cut the story short without spoilers, our FMC Sienna has a bucket list with 21 things she wants to do before she turns 21 on NYE. Our MMC, Jace, who found said bucket list, volunteers to be “used” to complete it.

“Use me”, he said…

Did I mention he’s been in love with her his whole life??

Sienna is such a relatable character in so many ways. I’m sooo glad she got her HEA because damn my girl deserved that!
And Jace, the man that you are… making dreams come true.. LITERALLY
I kiiinda wanted more of Jace’s hockey life once the season started but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me in terms of my rating.

I got teary-eyed near the end with all the cute and mushy feels… these two were made for each other.

First of all, thank you so much for the opportunity to read this as an Arc! I really related to sienna and the pressure that she puts on herself to be perfect in the eyes of others as well as herself. Unfortunately I did struggle with the amount of side characters and I got a little confused as to what was going on with them and who was who throughout the book. (This could definitely be a me problem as I did not read capture the moment prior to this one so there could be more background in there). I also loved the content that we were getting within each chapter but I did have a hard time with the larger time jumps between chapters. It felt like some topics were moved on from too quickly and I had little time to process what happened before we were days or weeks in the future. Overall I am so excited to see what else Ziye’ writes and I am hoping to see these characters again in the future!!

Wow this man yearns. Practically his entire life Jace has been in love with Sienna and he’s made it his life goal to win the woman of his dreams 😍 Sienna is such a girlboss I’m obsessed with her energy. Every character in this friend group is so so strong, I looovvee a good found family. Ziye writes mental health struggles so well which makes the story even more relatable!! This is for the perfectionist, overthinking girlies. You are going to ADORE Sienna! I realise this is a romance but I was hooked on the plot specifically in the second half I couldn’t put my kindle down 📖
I loved the flashbacks showing the sweet moments between Jace and Sienna early on 🥹 it really helped lock in how perfect these two characters were for each other.
Love love loved capture the moment too so I definitely recommend binging these two (available on KU)

THANK YOU ZIYE for allowing me to be an arc reader yet again!! Sending you all the love 💝

Set the Moment - Ziye’ Taylor

I really liked this story. I love the representation in the story with Sienna struggling with anxiety and feeling the need to be perfect and I love the bucket list tropes when they pop up in books. The chemistry between Sienna and Jace was just out of this world. I also adore the fact that Eros is his middle name. I also like how expanded this universe is with its side characters and their stories. I definitely will be needing to read the first book in this series. And I can’t wait to see who the next book is about.

Set The Moment Ziye Taylor ARC Review

Jace, I thought he was the perfect male main character and I think he was written so well together and I liked he thought of him putting people before himself. I liked him being wonderful and helpful at the same he was a loving and caring person that I thought of.

This relationship dealt with problems while being together I was glad they stuck together through the bad things and learned new things while being in a relationship with each other. They had so much similar interests and it was incredible discovering the characters and reading about them.

Sienna was the perfect female main character for Jace because of the way she held his hand through his worst moments and how they stood together at the end of it all an it’s why I rated it a 5 star it’s my second bwwm and I adored it and the aspects of the relationship that was developed between the characters.

[ARC review]

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5!)

A huge thank you to Ziye’ Taylor for the ARC of Set The Moment! This was my first read by Ziye’, and I’m so glad I got the chance to experience her writing. The emotion, the chemistry, and the storytelling all flowed so beautifully.

Sienna and Jace had me hooked from the very beginning. Their connection felt real and layered, full of love, longing, and that perfect mix of tension and tenderness. And that “Use Me” scene? Whew. The heat, the emotion, the intensity—it was everything.

Ziye’s writing is so immersive and deeply relatable. She makes you feel every emotion her characters go through, and her dialogue just pulls you right into their world. I can already tell this won’t be my last read from her. Her debut is already sitting on my TBR, and I can’t wait to dive in and get lost in her world again soon.

Thank you again, Ziye’, for letting me read this story early. It was such a captivating and unforgettable experience! 💜

4.5 ⭐️ 2 🌶️

The moments have definitely been set! This book is full of young love, adventure, passion, hurt/comfort, found family/friends, growth, and some stalking lol. Not to mention theres some foreshadowing and side stories happening 👀. Jace and Sienna have known each other since they were children and have been there for each other as much as kids growing up in different states could. We get flashbacks and to understand these two characters so much better than we could’ve in Book 1. Watching their story play out and their growth is rough at points but they work through it and learn from it. The support they get from their friends and family is amazing! I can’t wait to see what the future of the series couples look like but until them I will simply say Jace and Sienna have such a beautiful epic love story 🥹🥰.
