Lit, set in Urban Memphis, Tennessee, is a compelling, short fiction thriller. Charley Baxter adapts the protagonist and antagonist archetype as she sifts through a rebellious life she's created for herself. This new-found Queenpin is about to face some serious jail time, and the people she's surrounded by are not who they claim to be. This twenty-six-year-old, million-dollar drug dealer, thought her life in the system was nearly over. Her love for books gave her the escape she needed to get the lifestyles she's always dreamed of. Charley's ability to glide poetry of the great writers before her, from her tongue, have only transcribed the life she will soon face. With retribution at the forefront of her mind, she's about to increase the stakes higher than ever before!
I loved this quick short story. What had me more interested was how Charley ran her organization/business. Omg and the major plot twist shocked me. I’m definitely about to get into part 2 and see what is next for Charley and Carlos
I started reading this short story thinking I was going to read a few pages before bed then dose off. Ultimately I read the book with 45 minutes after realizing it was so good that I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to know how this was going to end and where Charley was going to end. Very nice Short Story and page turner. I loved it.
Yes, it’s no doubt that it was short and sweet, but it left you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what was going to happen. I cannot wait to see how this all turns out. Great job, HunnyBee
Whew lawd! How did you get all that🔥in 18 pages? I am totally invested in Charley's story, and want to see how she takes "Carlos" down! First read by these authors, and I will be looking into their catalogs. Great start! 👍👍👍
