The Harvest Protocol

They score you every six months. If the number drops low enough, they turn you into food.

Seventeen-year-old Leda Voss has watched her own Nutritional Value Score fall for three years. She knows the math. Two more cycles and she'll cross the same threshold that just condemned her five-year-old sister to the processing chambers beneath the Pavilion.

She has seventy-two hours.

A resistance cell offers her a way in: train as an operative, infiltrate the facility, extract Junie before the system dissolves her. The price is becoming exactly the kind of weapon the regime needs. The problem is that the resistance and the regime may not be as different as they claim.

Armed with a jar containing her sister's preserved heart, a map drawn by a man who cut out his own tongue, and a body the state has already deemed expendable, Leda will discover that the line between salvation and harvest was never where anyone told her it was.

The Harvest Protocol is a relentless dystopian thriller. It asks the question no one in Leda's world is allowed to speak aloud: if a government can put a number on your body, who decides when that number hits zero?

I write dark, intense fiction. The kind that crawls under your skin and stays there. Psychological thrillers, dark fantasy, and the occasional story that doesn't fit neatly into any box. But I don't like staying in one lane. I write a bit of everything, and I go wherever the story takes me.

What I care about most is making every page earn your time. I want you hooked from the first line and still thinking about the ending days later. That's the standard I hold myself to.

If you're here, you probably like stories with teeth. Pull up a chair. I think we'll get along.

All of Ayman Hamadeh's books I've read so far are absolutely amazing. They are heart touching, thought provoking, exciting and they touch you so deeply that hours after you finish the book, you STILL can't get it out of your mind. This deserves 10 stars not just 5. I highly recommend this book!
