This book was full of action, spice and lots of secrets! I was hooked from the beginning and could not put it down! Britt you nailed it and I can’t wait for the next book with that freaking ending and cliff hanger.
Emma is a freaking BADASS! She will not be controlled and she will do her own thing. She is fierce, confident, beautiful, smart, and the girl can freaking race. But sheesh, how much can she take? It seemed like every other second another huge bomb was being dropped on her, but that Queen kept her crown on straight.
Ace…whew! He is sexy, protective, obsessive, in charge, possessive and will do whatever he has to keep his wife safe. He sees her as his equal and I loved that. He didn’t want to cage her, but to lift her up, but he also wants to keep her safe. He may struggle with his devil side coming out, but he has a softer side when it comes to Emma. And the mouth on that man. Whew!
These two together are EVERYTHING!! The banter was perfection! The chemistry was smoking hot and electric. They were meant to rule together and a force that is stronger together. And Bear…I am loving him!!! I can not wait for more of him.
Prepare to fall in love with these characters, hate some of them, swoon over them, and say WTF several times! Your jaw will hit the floor. And then prepare to be begging for the next book with the cliffhanger…

Britt, you have made my whole week, and I'm absolutely in love with you! I didn't realize how much I needed this book in my life, but now I can't imagine it without it. This is definitely my favorite read by you so far, and I am so ready for more—especially after that cliffhanger that absolutely destroyed me!
The chemistry between Emma and Ace is electric, filled with tension and passion that kept me on the edge of my seat. Their "catch me" games are not just playful; they reveal so much about their characters and the depth of their relationship. I loved how Emma navigates her responsibilities as a Mafia heiress while trying to retain her own identity.
But let's be real—I need a scene with Bear like, really badly! The dynamic between Ace and Bear has so much potential for exploration with Emma, and I can't help but imagine the intensity that could unfold.

I loved this so much! This has everything I love about mafia romance, an intense and thrilling plot, full of surprising plot twists, and angst that strains the soul. I also loved the racing element! I think this is the first book I’ve read with a street racing trope and I love it! This arranged marriage plot is great, her childhood friend Ace comes back and despite their amazing chemistry, they find out that both of them have changed in unimaginable ways. However is it really an arranged marriage, if their marriage was set up for failure? A morally grey mafia boss mmc and a sassy fmc who’s more than what he bargained for, a match made in heaven? Or perhaps hell? Either way I loved the pairing, especially how Emma challenges Ace’s protectiveness and controlling nature. There’s so much to their story and many secrets of the mafia world that change their lives forever. This plot was so thrilling and intense, and I’ve read a lot of mafia romance but this plot was so deep. The plot twists came one after the other, turning my world upside down again and again. But the cliffhanger that this book ended on? Freakin gorgeous. I hated it, and was screaming my lungs out, but it was honestly genius and I never would’ve expected it. I loved the characters! Ace is my man! He’s whipped from the start, overprotective as hell (which makes a great plot when it pisses her off), and is dark as you find out later in the book, he has a bit of a psychopath side that I love! Emma is so great, yes I new she would be a fierce and strong af fmc but she shocked me on a different level. She’s the definition of girlboss, but like all mafia princesses she has a lot of trauma and I’m sure this is only the start of it. I’m curious to see how she deals with it and whether Ace will step up his game. I’m so excited for the next book. I loved and give it a 5/5

Wow!!! This was a fast paced, plot twisting, gripping the edge of your seat read.
I liked the strong and independent streak in Emma. She is Sassy as fuck. She had me saying “yes girl!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽”
I liked the alpha vibes Ace gives off, he can tell me what to do any day 😏 or try 🤣
Upon finishing I was like okay I need book two NOW!

Whew where do I begin with this book? Britt definitely needs to continue to write mafia romance because this book had me hooked from start to finish.
Emma as a FMC was wonderful. I love how she did her own thing and wouldn't let people control her. Charles? I definitely didn't like him at all. If I was in the book he would be the first to go.
Ace? MMH my favorite character there was in the book. He is dominant, knows how to protect a girl, and is the ultimate book boyfriend.
I completely devoured this book and loved seeing the incorporation of Emma's car and street racing. You could see how important it was to her and her pops.
The cliffhanger at the end when she was with Bear left me needing so much more. I highlighted so many quotes in this book and will be waiting for what is to come next!

ARC Review: OMG! This book was amazing from the first page to the last page. Ace and Emma are the perfect couple and I was in love with their story. Starting from the first time they lock eyes at their reunion I knew they were going to fall hard for each other. And the way he protects her…had my heart beating so hard in my chest. And the way she falls for him…honestly I wanted to cry with her at points. The amount of betrayal they both endured (not from each other) was appalling and I was shocked as each new betrayal was brought to light. The fact that Emma races made me love her even more and when Ace finally gives in and lets her race, I fell even more in love with him. But the ending….My jaw is still on the floor! I cannot wait for book 2!!!!

I received an ARC of Dare You to Catch Me and wow...what a trip! This fast-moving Mafia romance is packed with plenty of suspense, action and spice! The thrills never end! Emma is preparing to take over the Beckett Mafia empire from her father and is forced by him into an arranged marriage with Ace, a childhood friend who has been away training for years to take the reins of his own family's Mafia business. Their fathers arrange for them to be married so they can combine the Beckett and Collins family empires and take over the city.
Emma’s father is an unloving, abusive man and she wants nothing to do with him or the family business. She prefers street racing in her “Beauty” muscle car that she built with her grandfather, the man who pretty much raised her and showed her the ropes of running the empire as she was growing up.
Emma and Ace clearly feel an attraction to each other right from the beginning, and through several intense plot twists and turns that you don’t see coming, they end up actually falling in love...but their lives become tangled in a wild mess of street racing, gangs, gunfire, murder and mayhem. It’s not ALL bad though...there’s some serious spice between them!
Emma - “I finally start to look at Ace, my eyes trailing up his body, his perfectly tailored suit, the tattoos sneaking from the cuff of his shirt over his hand and up his neck. When my eyes meet those gorgeous blue eyes, I feel like my knees could give out. Fuck, he’s like a fucking God”.

Both of them have changed in ways neither expected, and watching them navigate that while being bound by a marriage that felt doomed from the start was so satisfying. Is it really an arranged marriage if it's been set up to fail? That question lingered in my mind long after I finished.

And the plot twists? Unrelenting. Just when I thought I had a grip on the story, it twisted again, leaving me gasping. I’ve read a lot of mafia romance, but this plot had serious depth and complexity. Every secret revealed changed everything, and the stakes just kept rising.
Now let’s talk about that cliffhanger. It wrecked me—in the best possible way. I hated it and loved it at the same time. It was brutal, unexpected, and honestly? Brilliant.

The way this author portrays her characters and storyline is amazing, this book caught me hook line and sinker, this hands down is one of my favourite reads of 2025.
This is not the first novel by this author I have read and I can honestly say it will not be the last of her books I'll be reading.
If you like a dark romance novel, with a fiesty FMC who is a car racer but who is also a Mafia Heiress, then this book is for you!
It does end on a cliffhanger, I can't wait for book 2.

🏁 ARC Review.. Dare You To Catch Me By Britt Lynn
This officially become my new favorite book by Britt! I can’t believe how much I loved it. This is hands down one of the best mafia romances I’ve come across! Seriously, Britt knows how to weave a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Emma and Ace are such an incredible duo! Their chemistry is off the charts, and the banter between them? Absolutely delightful! I found myself laughing and swooning at the same time. I’m completely obsessed with these two characters; they feel so real and relatable.
And let’s talk about the plot twists! Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story took a wild turn that kept me guessing. It was like going on a rollercoaster ride with all the ups and downs that make for an unforgettable experience.

Holy hot damn 🥵 Daddy Ace for the freaking win! New book husband unlocked! He’s dangerous, protective and possessive and has the most perfect touch her and d*e vibes. The tension and chemistry is off the freaking charts. The spice is so delicious. This book is a fun fast paced action filled read that had me sitting on the edge of my seat anxious waiting to see what is going to happen next. There are so many secrets and betrayal and a few plot twist I so did not see coming! My jaw literally dropped. Emma is one badass Queen! She is tough as hell, sassy, and matched Ace’s crazy perfectly! My heart broke for her but the way she just keeps going amazes me. Then that freaking ending!! I am now sitting here freaking out. I am not going to be able to stop thinking about this until we get book 2.

Fast Cars, Twisted Hearts & Cliffhangers
Okay besties, let’s talk Dare You To Catch Me by Britt Lynn. This one had serious potential—fast cars, solid plot twists, and enough tension to keep the pages turning. The car racing scenes? 🔥 Loved those. And that cliffhanger? Rude... but effective. I wanted to be obsessed, but something didn’t fully click—Emma just didn’t pull me in emotionally, which made it hard to root for her. Ace has that moody, magnetic MMC energy, though, and I’m definitely intrigued by what’s coming next. The spice was fine, the drama was there, and I’ll be checking out Book 2 because I NEED answers. Just a heads-up: check those trigger warnings first. This ride gets intense.
