The Anatomy of Awakening: The 5 Hidden Codes to Activate Self-Healing, Unlock Your Higher Consciousness, and Live Your Divine Destiny
The author of The Energy Codes combines quantum science and cosmic principles with practical tools to awaken your high brain centers and access your capacity to embody divine love—right now, just as you are.
In our rapidly changing world, we are challenged to maintain a sense of self and not be consumed by the turbulence. Where can we turn to find the stability we need?
The Anatomy of Awakening reveals that all we need is already with and within us, profoundly hidden in plain sight. Dr. Sue Morter, best-selling author of The Energy Codes, identifies the invisible, sacred energetic structure that underpins our human physiology—a flowing throughline that results from the series of compressions required for Source to manifest into human form. She also introduces us to the vibrational frequency of a Greater Love, a force that allows us to sustainably transcend our primitive brain, bringing greater peace and healing.
Using an approach keyed to the highest of 12 chakras, The Anatomy of Awakening opens a vibrational combination lock, enlivening us in entirely new ways and helping us become more masterful in our lives. We align with five transformative universal principles or quantum “codes” to reveal a greater
The Creator Code—Awakening as Source The Actioning Code—Flowing with GraceThe Destiny Code—Embodying quantum LoveThe Revelation Code—Illuminating the Ecstatic SelfThe Blessing Code—Unifying the realms into one Divine Truth

The book cover that says "The God Body" must have been from the planning stage. I have the final publication in front of me and it only says what the title says above. Though, she mentions often that our core essence is "the God Body." Maybe she decided she'd offend people who strongly feel that God doesn't have a body! Hindu scriptures have been teaching this for over three thousand years. Some Vedic statements corresponding to us having a "God Body" are "Aham Brahmasmi," which translates as "I am Brahman." Brahman refers to the Infinite Consciousness and Energy that permeates the universe, you and me. The Atman (pronounced Aathmun) corresponds to what Dr. Sue calls the "God Body," the part of the Brahman that flows through us. Another similar one is "Shivoham" pronounced as Shivo-hum. It means "I am Shiva." Welcome to the Vedic club, Dr. Sue! :)
The Yogic system teaches of the 7 Chakras, the Energy Wheels. Dr. Sue adds another five, but only God knows where they are, if they do exist!! Ah well, the more the merrier I guess; makes me dizzy to imagine seven spinning energy wheels within me and another five around me!! Gee, even the Kabbalah only speaks of ten Sephirot or aspects of Ein Sof, the One Divine.
About her credentials. She is a DC, a Chiropractor. But she claims to be a "doctor trained in bioenergetics and mind-body medicine." Very sad that many chiropractors just love to state they are doctors doing this or that. Such a pity they want to hide their actual degree. What's wrong with using the title DC (Doctor of Chiropractic)? Are they ashamed of being a DC? Maybe she feels she's left her chiropractic practice behind her???
My summary is that many will find this to be a difficult read and may think it is all hocus-pocus. Her in-depth story of her spiritual awakening absolutely seems authentic to me; must have been an amazing and life-changing experience. As to the "5 Hidden Codes," it seems to be just an expansion of one single code into five. They're about discovering the Divine flowing within us, which is the teaching of Jnana Yoga, and attach ourselves to the Divine, which I discovered as Dhyana, which is what Zen is. Oh, there are a few other Yogas too! The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali from a thousand years ago also seemed fond of the number 5: Five restrictions and Five observances. Anyhow, see if you can find this book in your local or online library. I found it to be a good exploration of the spirituality within us. Having read it, would I treasure it and buy a copy to keep in my home library? I'll have to think about it! Having understood the divine teachings of the Vedic Upanishads, and not finding anything new in this book which comes three thousand years later, likely not. Let me end by saying that reading this book has been fruitful and enjoyable. In fact I plan to read it again before I return it. I'm giving it 5 stars, one for each of her Five codes!!! :)

I'm in a period of spiritual awakening after some profound experiences and saw this book on a shelf in the spiritual section of my local bookstore. I wish I had read a chapter before purchasing.
On page 96, I'm finding myself asking "can we get to the point already?!" I am all for alternative healing, but the moment I found out she is a doctor of chiropractic medicine I felt like a fool. I love eastern philosophies and medicine, as I've been seeking them out in this stage of life. Chiropractic medicine... Not so much.
This reads as a white woman taking information that already exists in the world of eastern philosophy, religion, and medicine, renaming parts of it while maintaining others, and making it as confusing as possible to understand. It's repetitive and discombobulating. Couldn't finish it.

The introduction alone reads like it was written with AI heavily. A lot of the common ways AI writes are clear here. I backed out and went and seen that it was just released in March. I can't make any claims to know for sure but I had to put the book down because it felt so wrong.

A manual of sorts for the those who suspect there is more to life than the material. The specifics and the technical details about how consciousness invokes us will either madden or comfort you, depending on where you are on the spectrum between militant atheist and unquestioning space cadet.
I don't know who needs to hear this, in order to correct it, but the wrong thumbnail is attached to this title.

This book is a continuation of Sue Morter's earlier book, The Energy Codes. the focus of the earlier book is resolving ones personal stories which are self limiting factors as one pursues life. This book uses ones realization of self-sovereignty and freedom to develop one's relationship with divinity.

This is an incredible book. I have been following Dr Sue Morter for years. I listened to the audiobook version of this latest book in Dr Sue’s calm voice. If you are looking for more out of life, start here. Choose the format that fits you best: printed, kindle or audiobook. You will not be disappointed!

I went in with a really open mind, and came out disappointed. The overabundance of flowery language dissipates the actual meanings I believe Dr. Morter is trying to convey.
