A captivating start to series, wonderful characters and storyline you’ll be engrossed reading
Kieran Silvercrest had known from his birth that it was his birthright when his time came to care for his pack mates, he would uphold the laws and he would lead them and stand alongside them whenever there were pack disputes.
However, the day came when he had been on his lands and had been part way through his shift and a human female researcher had captured photographs of him actually partially changed and this was something that was only known by shifters.
Maya had thought that she was going to see packs of wolves in their natural habitat and instead had seen something that would change her life forever. Kieran knows that the truth can not be made public by the female but when he catches her scent, he realises that she is in fact his mate.
He knows that he has to claim her his wolf will accept no other but this is not the usual wolf way an Alpha to claim a human but his wolf will not have another.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Maya is a biologist studying the wolves she set up cameras in the woods to record their actions until the night she got a lot more than she bargained for.
Kieran is an alpha heir who was somewhat careless one night when he takes a run in the woods and doesn't see the motion light on the camera until to late. He is told by the alpha he must follow tradition and get rid of the human ASAP. Kieran actually is shocked when he picks up her scent in the forest and everything he thought he was going to do, was not what he actually did. An exciting paranormal, romantic, suspense storyline. The characters help you feel and experience their connection. I read an Arc without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

Until 3000 years ago, humans and shifter relationships were normal, even celebrated. Until the Council decided to ban the unions in favor of purer bloodlines. They locked away the history of prior successful matings, as well as the prophecy which foretold of a special person who would bring healing and hope back to the land.
Maya and Kieran must navigate more than her scientific curiosity and his shifter nature. Kidnapping attempts, orders to put the human to death, investigation of her true nature…
The story ended with the promise of a hunt for more like Maya. I’m looking forward to the next story.

Loved Kieran and Maya's story, first in a new series. He is the heir apparent for the alpha position in the Silvercrest wolf pack territory. She holds a PhD in Wildlife Biology, with a specialty in wolf pack dynamics. One of her cameras captures something unbelievable and then he captures her. He's been ordered to kill her, his wolf has other ideas. Together they will change everything.

Kieran is going for a run when he realises, too late, that he has been caught on camera. The shifter council decide the threat must be eliminated and Kieran must sort out the mess he has made. However, when he meets Maya, he realises she is his mate – a scandal as human mates are not allowed.
This was an exciting read; Kieran and Maya have a rocky start and there are a few surprises along the way, making this a definite page turner.

Such a great start to a new MT series. As always, this author draws the reader in from the beginning, and the characters embark on an amazing adventure that keeps the reader engaged. There's Love, Fated Mates, Danger, Steamy Moments, and so much more. I had a fantastic time going on this reading excursion with some new characters, and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Such a great start to this new series! A captivating read that I couldn’t put down! Such great characters and a wonderful storyline that keeps you engaged from beginning to end! Milly definitely knows how to write a fated mates story! Enjoyable read! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
