Jade wants to stay out of the limelight, with the goal of her work granting her enough fortune to live a quiet life where writing remains her hobby, while Bo has always wanted fame from his singing and recording. When Jade is suddenly shoved into the spotlight she has to decide if she wants to lean in and let go of her previous idea of what she wanted her life to look like, or retreat, losing Bo and the love that was developing between them in the process.

A deeply personal message that resonates with those still healing from their past traumas while finding love. Healing is a lifelong journey, and while I personally think Jade needed a therapist, not a boyfriend, Bo serves as a reminder to everyone of the power of self-love and having someone in your corner who believes in you.

The 👍:
-realistic expectations
-introspective protagonist
-good plotting

The 👎:
-a few editing issues, such as scenes jumping too quickly/transitions
-Jade gave “pick me” vibes for the first few chapters before growing on me

I recommend this book for all romance lovers and for those who love the idea of romance but feel fear at jumping in!

I found it nice to spend time with Jade and Bo in this book and to watch them bond with one another. It was an interesting premise, the romance novelist and the voice actor who are both fans of one another, and then end up becoming more.
I really enjoyed the themes of working through your trauma and self love as well. This story kinda hits home the ideas of learning to trust another person and to let go and let them have your back. My only wish was that the book was longer so it had more time to explore the MCs a little more!

This book is a spicy and sweet love story that id recommend to anyone who is into contemporary romance.

Jade and Bo were a cute couple, and I enjoyed the premise of the book, but I felt that emotionally, they were too deep sometimes (most of the time), and it was too much. It took me out of it a little as they began sharing a lot of personal info from the start and it felt like they were always low key arguing over who was right when it came to their views on fame even though it is down to your own personal preference, experience and reasons. So you know, just say your peace, respect the other persons views and let go 👀

I could have looked past all that, as I was still enjoying the storyline, but the third at break-up is what ruined it for me. Jade's reason for being upset and 'breaking up' with Bo was so petty and ridiculous that I couldn't let it slide.

Let Go by Morgan Jones
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (3.5)

Let Go is the second book in the Collins Siblings Trilogy, and this one follows Jade, a soft-spoken kindergarten teacher who secretly writes under a pen name, and Bo, a magnetic singer and audiobook narrator with big dreams and a whole lot of charm.

Their worlds collide one night at a bar (thanks to Jade’s roommate dragging her out), and sparks fly immediately. Jade prefers her quiet, structured life, while Bo thrives in the spotlight. I really enjoyed learning what shaped them into the people they are, two very different souls with unique baggage, trying to figure out if they can find common ground. Jade’s fear of fame and Bo’s hunger for it made for an interesting dynamic that tugged at the heart.

I felt that the story started strong, but the pacing dipped a bit in the middle and never fully picked back up for me. The romance also leaned a little too insta-lovey for my personal taste because I love me a good slow burn!

That said, the main message of the story, that love sometimes means letting go of fear and stepping into the unknown, was heartfelt and beautifully conveyed. If you’re in the mood for a sweet romance with a touch of fame, Let Go might just be your next cozy read.

Let Go was a great read! I loved the roles that Jade and Bo played. This was my first author-audiobook narrator romance and it was a really interesting dynamic. They had such a fun meet-cute and a lot of the connections in this book felt like a great example of serendipity.

Let Go was a quick and fun read. There were so many compelling characters and I especially loved the family dynamics that Bo and Jade each have. They are so different, but have so clearly shaped the people that Bo and Jade become.

This book was a great example of how outside influences can truly make a difference in a relationship. Much of this story is about the push and pull between Bo’s desire for fame and notoriety, while Jade just wants to be happy. It takes them time to find that happy medium, and that time showed the importance of clear communication.

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

A big thank you to the author Morgan Jones for gifting me an advanced copy of Let Go 💜 I am very appreciative to have been selected to read this book.

This book was unfortunately not for me. There were parts that I enjoyed, like learning about the main characters Jade and Bo. They have a lot in common yet still seem to be opposites, so I enjoyed learning about their pasts and what brought them together. I felt that their relationship started off so strong and quick and that made me cringe a little. Jade shared so many personal moments with Bo while he was just a stranger, some things she doesn’t share with anyone else. I felt this book could be a little longer to allow us more story and more moments between the two main characters. It seemed a little rushed.

Let Go by Morgan Jones is a contemporary romance between an author, Jade, and her audiobook narrator, Bo. Both are fans of each other and neither realize how well they'll hit it off.

Both Bo and Jade have different self esteem issues that they're working through. Much leading from past trauma. In fact, this is a big catalyst for Jade's writing. In a way, it's her therapy. Much as Bo has thrown himself into work and the search for fame. These two must learn to navigate their blossoming relationship while opening up to each other and being honest. Being able to, "Let go."

If you are ready for a sweet and spicy love story with plenty of mental health rep, friends, family, and learning self love, get this book!

This book really wasn't for me. There were some things I liked, but overall, I never really felt the connection between the characters and the story felt a bit jumpy. I felt like Bo kept trying to force Jade into making her writing more public than she wanted and he didn't seem to just accept that she doesn't want to be famous. Jade also had a lot of personal issues she really needed to work through and the spicy scenes didn't feel realistic to me. As a romance novelist, I expected a confidence level when it came to intimacy that I didn't think Jade had, which made it hard for me to believe that she was so withdrawn and awkward, but I'm expected to believe that she writes romance well according to Bo.

Thank you to Morgan Jones for the ARC.

I like this story but the pacing was a little off for me. At parts it went slower and then suddenly at warp speed. I loved the concept of an author falling for an audiobook narrator. I like Bo but I was so frustrated with him. He was all in then stood her up and was forgiven immediately, I would have loved to watch him grovel just a little. I really liked Jade as a character, she was super relatable. Her struggles of imposter syndrome and working through her past were well written. Bo and Jades dynamic was cute and the spice fit well. The spice was great I loved them being in his studio, it added a fun element. The way Bo pushed Jade to be her best self was also so cute to read.
Thank you Morgan Jones for giving an ARC of this book!

This was a 3.5 ⭐ for me.

I got into it within the first few chapters but then it started to slow down and I didn't realize the book wouldn't be written in first person so I was trying to get past that, which was a challenge.

It just felt like the story dragged for me. It was fast love for Bo and I kind of liked Bo but he's not the type of fictional man I'd find myself wanting.

Now Jade, I don't think a boyfriend is what she really should've been focusing on, she needed to focus on herself and her career and really figure out what she wants to do with her life.

It had its spicy moments which were nice though. It did have its moments but it just didn't keep me into it.

I liked the overall concept of this book… a romance author falls in love with her book’s audio narrator. I usually like shorter books but this one may have been too short. Some of the character development felt very rushed which made parts of the book feel a little disjointed. Bo wasn’t super likable for a majority of the book… he was honestly a little selfish in my opinion. I would have liked to see a deeper character arc for him. I really liked the dynamic between Jade and her sisters and wish that would have been explored more. Overall, I think this book was a great idea there was just something missing for me.

To me, it felt like Jade had shared too much too fast during the beginning of their dating. Especially since Bo wasn't sharing as much of himself as she was sharing of herself.

Other than that, I really liked the characters and story. It started out strong right away, too!

I also liked how relatable of a character Jade is. Especially when she was sharing how she felt when it came to certain things in her life and how her childhood affects a lot of it.

I really liked this story. I definitely recommend it!

Jade liked living life in the shadows and never really dreamed of reaching for the sun. She was a kindergarten teacher by day and a romance novelist at night. That is, when she isn't having writer's block. Then she meets Bo, a bar singer and the newest voice actor for Jade's latest audiobook. Bo has big dreams and wants to soar as high as possible.

Let Go is a quick, light read. It follows Jade and not only her journey to find love, but also herself. I think there were a few inconsistencies with the characters and the plot. The timeline was a little jumpy. Overall, Let Go is a sweet read.

When a romance writer meets and audiobook narrator and he falls hard and fast for the woman who never felt good enough....
Bo and Jade are both chasing fame but on different levels. When their world's collide, they have a lot to work through. Will they get there in the end?

I just love these two. If you like short reads (under 200 pages!!) relatable characters, that come with flaws but are working on themselves, two lonely hearts finding each other, main characters with seriously hot chemistry and panty melting spice, you should put "Let Go" on your TBR!!

This book is a quick and spicy romance with Cinderella vibes! Jade is a teacher who writes romance under a pen name. All she wants out of life is stability and peace (and I mean, who doesn’t).

Enter Bo, an audiobook narrator who wants fame and the lifestyle it provides. But as he plays music at a bar and spots the beautiful blonde in the audience, he’s instantly smitten.

Throughout this story, you get to watch these two quickly fall for one another. There’s plenty of spice, romantic moments, and enjoyment to be had in this quick story!

I love reading books from new to me, authors and I was so happy that Morgan Jones reached out to me to read her book Let Go. This book was so good, the characters were so amazing, and realistic. I am definitely looking forward to reading more by this author, and I can't wait. The characters Jade and Bo felt so “real” with real problems that we all deal with.
I have received a complimentary ARC for a fair and honest review

This book wasn’t really my cup of tea and for the most part; it was a cute story. I did really like Jade and Bo individually, but not really a fan of them together romantically. The part where I fell off was when Bo was like, “when I ask you on a date, you will know.” Then he asks Jade on a date and ended up standing her up and he didn’t even notice he forgot about said date until 2 hours later!

Let Go is a contemporary romance in which the book’s main theme of self worth and self discovery is prominent between the two main characters. They found more of themselves through each other in the most unconventional way possible. This was a simple quick read which I was able to read in two sittings.

These opinions are all my own. I was encouraged to read and leave an honest review by the author herself via social media. My personal rating of Let Go is 3.25⭐️
