Lila has no choice: she has to find Ciaran. But to do that, she first needs to venture back into the Hayton territory, despite her father's warnings that he will banish her from the pack if he ever catches her in there again. But what else can she do? Would Ciaran even want to talk to her after all those weeks, or had he already forgotten about her? Maybe he'd even turn her in to his father, the Alpha, who would kill her just like he'd killed her own brother. But she had to do it. She had to find him.
Of course, Ciaran's reaction wasn't the biggest of Lila's worries. After all, in order to even see his reaction, she had to first venture into his territory...and if there's one thing that the Hayton wolves hated more than anything, it was the presence of a rival Yurval wolf on their land.
