Oh I thoroughly enjoy Emily Harvale's books and this one was truly a delight from start to finish.
Sometimes with short stories, you read them & your left incomplete cause it was too short or the story didn't cover enough detail etc. Some authors do short stories well but some don't. Author Emily is very much in the category of does it well, really well.
I really loved getting to the characters in this short story and enjoying the lead up/planning of Sam's surprise birthday party that her daughter Halliday was planning. Also lovely seeing the instant chemistry between Halliday and Alistair.
If you're looking for a short sweet entertaining story then be sure to give this one a go as it really does hot the spot.

Brilliant
Really enjoyed this book and the characters. I get so lost in Emily's stories and this was no exception, feel so happy and sad also when I reach the end but look forward to starting my next one. Thank you again Emily and keep on writing your fabulous books.

Th Perfect Christmas Book
What a lovely book to read at Christmas time. Full of lovely characters and just a nice romantic, full of joy and happiness book to read in front of the fire with a glass of wine. Well done Emily.

Great!!
A very good easy read with a very happy ending. Only one relationship was love at first sight but the others came to light for a multiple happy ending.

Sorry but this was not one of my favorites- while I normally enjoy her books, I felt like this one either suffered from poor editing or an over anxious publisher breathing down her neck to finish by a deadline! What the heck... I was frustrated from beginning to end.
