This was a neat book that lasted a long while in my cookbook collection. I didn't cook out of it (sorry) so I can't attest to it's yumminess rating but it was certainly entertaining to both me and my guests who chose to peruse my collection. However, it's time to make some room for some new books and this was one I'm willing to pass on to the next cookbook collector with a penchant for the historical or macabre.

not that great.

actually..most of the recipie's are gross and not in the way you would want them to be either. Kind of like bad lunch lady food made by your eccentric aunt bertha.

Still..I'm a dracula whore.

The recipes in the book are good, in spite of the kitschy names. I have made most of the bread recipes, as well as some from each chapter.
The author's recommendations for "Halloween decor" to go along with certain dishes are marvelous.
