Our memories hold the key to our very being. Her lost memory conceals truths that will change lives forever.
After taking down numerous wicked men and women throughout her career, Emma finally considers taking some much-needed rest. But when Xavier is drawn to a strange case that closely resembles Lakyn Monroe’s in its eerie details, he asks Emma to travel to a sleepy small town and investigate the mysterious disappearance of Dustin Reed.
The boy went to school, then vanished. He was there half the day for a parent-teacher event, but disappeared suddenly in the middle of it all.
As Emma dives deeper into the mystery, she finds multiple suspects, each with potential motives but no solid alibis.
With the walls rapidly closing in, catching the culprit will lead Emma toward an explosive revelation. Tick-tock. Time is running out.
Will Emma capture the monster before it zeros in on a new target? Monsters, lies, and a shocking aftermath await...
I love the Emma Griffin series. A.J. Rivers has a way of capturing your attention from the first sentence in each book. I love that no matter what mystery (crime) that Emma is trying to solve, you get parts of her family and personal life included. I'm usually sad at the end of each book, because I have to wait for the next one. Like right now, I can't wait to see what adventures Emma, Sam, Dean, and Xavier get up to in the next one. All of these books are a must read. I highly recommend them all. Also check out the other series by A.J. Rivers, you will not be disappointed.
I’m done with this series. Not a fan of cliffhangers, and seems that each book in this series will end with one. This is the second book that ends with not knowing who Doe is. The only reason I read this book was to find out what happened to her, and why she has amnesia. I’m to the point of not caring. What was Xavier’s reasoning on how he knew Cameron didn’t kill her son? Wasn’t even discussed between him and Emma. These books seem rushed, lots of characters to keep up with, and favorites who are never mentioned anymore.
A human arm bone is found by an exploring dog; a young boy disappears from his pricey private school and his mother is convicted of his murder after the child’s body is found; Emma looks over the mother’s conviction at the request of Xavier, who staunchly contends that the mother is innocent.
In the process of investigating this one homicide, other similar abductions and deaths suffered by young children over a period of time come to light.
A.J.Rivers is one of my favorite authors, she never disappoints me. This newest book, had so much going on, I wanted to read it from beginning to end in one sitting. So many of my favorite characters were included, the carryover for the last book I had been waiting on, and the new plot was complete with exciting twists. Now I desperately need the next book!!
The Girl and the Hidden Truth( Emma Griffin FBI Mystery Book 37)
OMG!!!!!!!!! This book was amazing, I loved every minute of it. Emma has taken on a new case because Xavier asked her to look into it, a mother has been convicted of killing he 6 year old son, and Xavier doesn't think she is guilty. So Emma starts digging and what she uncovered is every parents worst nightmare, but as usual, Emma catches her murderer. I can't wait to read the next book.
I'm a huge AJ Rivers fan, and the next installment of the Emma Griffin series does not disappoint! When Xavier asks Emma to look into a case involving a child where the mother has been convicted of his death, Emma is skeptical but looks at it with her usual scrutiny. What she uncovers is so much more than she thought possible.
I've read every Emma Griffin book and each one has so many twists and turns but this one held my attention more. How A.J. Rivers ever came up with this storyline and got it on paper is mind blowing. I love every book she has written and this certainly did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
Wow! I did not see that coming. This book has an excellent surprise ending. And I love the twisty path it took to get there. This is one of my favorite series, and it never fails to draw me in. I get so caught up in the story that I want to read it in one sitting.
Absolutely love the way Emma makes her way through case. It’s fascinating the way she moves through each piece, and getting help from Sam or Xavier when she get stuck. This was a twister, for sure!
Emma Griffin always leaves you catching your breath. This was another great book, there was nothing to dislike at all. How she puts all the pieces together and solves a case is fascinating to me. If you like mysteries this is a book you will enjoy.
The storyline is great. All the familiar characters make an appearance and have active roles. However the plot becomes a little muddy about 3\4 of the way through and makes the ending hard to get into until the very end.
We start out with two buddies driving down a road, during a storm, that is more like a trail. They come across a girl collapsed in the middle of the road, with no memory of.who shr p L
Wow! This book grabs you from the beginning. It's intense, heart wrenching, fast paced, and has unexpected twists and turns. Another winner for this series!
This is another great story about Emma trying to find out what happened to young children and finding out who was responsible with lots of suspense and drama. Thank you for this excellent story.
Thanks to A J for another great mind bending mystery/murder plot. I wonder where this inspiration comes from. I miss the interactions eitheR and Dean though!
It amazes me on your wording of these stories. Some of the descriptive words shows me of what an educated person you are. Thanks for the great stories.
