Starting where v2 left off, Misha is confronted with the arrival of the plague and the heavy learning moments that come with it. The result is a tad darker story than earlier books, but that is a good thing as far as I am concerned. I would have expected it a bit earlier to be honest. Whether or not Misha learns something from it, is something for future volumes, but for now it made an intriguing, all be it high paced, read. I am looking forward to the next volume were we hopefully will learn a bit more about her heritage.

This book really tied together the Redford arc and I really enjoyed how everything felt so well connected. I appreciated how it brought closure and set us up for Misha's next steps.
