A cozy Omegaverse romance full of breathless tension, quiet devotion, and found family comfort.
Emily Hart is on the run—from a life chosen for her, from the Alpha who thought she belonged to him, from the weight of expectations she never asked for. What she needs is somewhere to hide. What she finds is something she never dared hope safety.
Tucked away in a small town where blueberry fields meet wild forests, Emily finds herself at a quiet farmhouse inn—and face to face with Matthew Granger. A broad-shouldered, soft-spoken Alpha who doesn't demand, doesn't push, and never once tries to stake a claim. His gentle presence is nothing like the Alphas she's been taught to fear.
As the farm pulls her into its slow, grounding rhythm, Emily starts to breathe again—for the first time in years. Baking, planting, nesting—finding friends who understand what it means to carry fear inside your bones. And always, always steady, respectful, touch-starved and patient in a way that leaves her breathless.
There’s no forced bond. No looming heat to make her pick. Only the choice to fall—for him, for safety, for respect.
✨ Slow burn. ✨ Touch-starved Alpha. ✨ Consent-driven intimacy. ✨ Gentle tension and deeply satisfying emotional payoff. ✨ Found family Omega circle. ✨ No pregnancy. No surprise bites. Just healing, hope, and breathless want.
For fans of cozy Omegaverse, soft Alphas, and slow-blooming romance where safety becomes its own kind of seduction.
This was a pretty good read. I enjoyed it. It was very sweet, very slow, very focused on healing. Very different pace wise than I’m used to. Not bad at all. Although I get that the focus was on Healing in this book, but a little drama that it kind of included ended way too abruptly, it was not addressed. Feels very unfinished there. Also questions that I thought were answered. Like what was in the letters, did her mom die her to escape? What happened with the alphabet that paid money for her? Did her dad just give up after sending three letters? Could have been more.
Cozy, slow burn, spicy at the end! EXTRA spicy chapters at the end, so people can choose their spice level! Honestly, a great way to organize a romance book!
