Firstly thank you to the wonderful Shar for the opportunity to read her book Finding
Mine which is the first book in the Gold Field Springs series. I devoured this book. It consumed me, and became all I could think about. I loved it.

Finding Mine follows Hayes and Eliza. Fate had already meddled and was working for these two to cross paths. Hayes finds himself in a situation and there is only one person who can help him. Enter Eliza. When these two come face to face it’s electric. How long can things stay strictly work? Stay toned to find out, because the grump finally may have met his match in the form of sunshine.

These two have electric chemistry, great banter, tension, growth, amazing girl gang, couple goals, swoon worthy moments to make you melt, and the spice is 🥵🥵

Shar, from the moment I read your first book I was hooked and they just keep getting better. Every group of friends gives me fomo. Hayes was everything and more. I love a good grump who is only soft for her.

This was freaking cute, I’m half in love with Hayes and all of his many nicknames for Eliza. I only wanted to shake him a few times, tell him to get his ish together. He’s a man used to being in control of his life, in all aspects.

Eliza is so sweet, kind and just wholesome. I really enjoyed her character and resonated with her bookish habits.

I loved the girl gang friends she developed with Raven and Alice. The whole Maddox clan is fantastic and I can’t wait to see more from them.

Finding Mine by Shar Stevens was such a breath of fresh air. A contemporary romance that has found family, great side characters and a slow burn that ignites exquisitely.

Hayes and Eliza’s workplace romance was such a heart felt journey that had you falling in love with them as they fell in love with each other.

If you haven’t read Finding Mine or any of Shar Stevens books yet, I highly recommend you get on this train and enjoy the journey.

Wow, I devoured this book in just 50 minutes—I was completely hooked!

It was my first read from Shar Stevens, but definitely not my last. I already can't wait to dive into the next one because I absolutely fell in love with every character—main and side alike.

Right now, my favorite is Ritz. There’s just something about him I can’t quite explain, but he stands out. Raven also deserves a special mention—she’s such a great side character. Always there for her brother Hayes and supportive of her new friend Eliza. She just *knew* those two were meant to be, even though she had only just met Eliza.

I adored the romance between Eliza and Hayes. They’re completely obsessed with each other, and things move fast—but in the best way. It was such a fun and satisfying dynamic to read!

And the spice? So hot! I loved the way the author wrote those scenes—just the right amount and so well done.

I ate this book up!! I love a good insta attraction story and this delivered that perfectly while still adding the level of banter that I live for! Hayes and Eliza are so good together and the mouth on that man!! 🥵 please! I also really love the friendships that are established already and the friendships that are made in this book! Firstly I want to thank the amazing Shar for this wonderful opportunity to arc read Finding Mine, which is the very first book to the Gold Field Springs Series 😍.

This book was wonderfully written and such an amazing book from start to finish. I absolutely enjoyed it and literally love Hayes 🥵.

Hayes and Eliza have amazing chemistry, great banter, growth, swoon-worthy moments, and spice 🥵🥵. These characters have amazing couple goals, and the tension was absolutely amazing.

Hayes: "In just a brief moment, everything can change." "Time freezes, and my entire life changes direction." Destiny has a way of stepping in at the right moment. She lands right in front of me. The moment I saw Eliza Thomas, the shy and smart girl, I knew she was meant for me. "She's the only person who really understands how to help me fix the problems in my life."

Eliza: I have spent my life trying to be the good girl by always making the right choices. But everything changes the moment I find myself glued to the news, unable to look away from him.
Hayes Maddox. "He leaves me speechless."
He requires my assistance in several ways, but am I prepared to leave my peaceful life for the handsome grumpy billionaire?

I definitely laughed throughout this book, and I can't wait to see what you have installed for book 2.

This was a really fun read. Eliza and Hayes had such amazing chemistry from the beginning and I absolutely ADORED Sassy Mystic Courtney and her role in their story. All of Hayes siblings were amazing and I can’t wait to read their stories in the future. The way Eliza finally got the chance to utilize her skills and basically have her dream job was so wonderful. I loved how Hayes went from being super grumpy all the time to mellowing out a lot by the end of the book. There’s a little mysterious subplot in this that has to do with the mining operation and the way it all unfolded was really satisfying. The spice in this was really enjoyable. I really enjoyed this read and look forward to the rest of the series.

I love the girls group for some reason I always enjoy a girls group maybe because it can be rare in books but this group and the banter chefs kiss!! I am dying for the next book in this series!!

Wrongfully accused and harassed mining owner Hayes Maddox is at his wits end until Eliza Thomas is fated to enter into his life. This was a cute read. The way she was able to help him and bring peace to an otherwise tense and overwhelming situation. I would have liked to feel a deeper connection between these two. I loved the family bonds and how close the siblings all were.
