Eva LeNoir: Disheveled
Holy shit - this novella was amazing! I literally couldn't put it down! I loved the whole premise - the girl's nights, the shit talking that goes on with all of the ladies (you know it as well as I do!), the forbidden love with that one who you know you shouldn't, but you just can't keep yourself away from! I loved every second of this novella and I seriously need more! Cole and Dia were perfection to me and so relatable. I think that we have all been in this situation at one point in our lives and it completely rings true here. Well done, Eva - I can't wait to see what you bring next!
Andrea Smith: Jaded
If you have read my other reviews, you already know that I love everything that Andrea writes, I just cannot help myself! This novella is so well thought out and passionate and has the best character development and depth that just draw you into this mesmerizing story. Jaded, absolutely, is that for me...yet again! Andrea keeps us guessing the whole time...is she a whore? Yes, maybe. Is she a kept woman? Again, yes maybe. Is she just a girl who is so lost in her own fantasy that she doesn't know where to go from here? Yes, I think, absolutely! Like the rest of her books, Andrea keeps me thinking one thing and then - BAM - I am blindsided with something so crazy that has left my head spinning! And then it ends!!! Well, I can't wait for the next installment in the WTF? Series and I just might come after you if you don't release it soon! ;)
Leigh Ann Lunsford: Promise and Protect
I have never read anything by Ms. Lunsford, but was pleasantly surprised! Her writing was top notch and the character development was great. Loved the premise of the story and the thrills that came with it as well with fantastic twists and turns along with great sexual tension that could turn any girl into mush! I loved the h and H and thought that they were perfect for each other right from the very start. However, what I did think, even though this was a novella, was that the plot was pushed forward too fast. This happens a lot of times in stories this short, but sometimes it just seemed too quick for me. With that said, I truly did enjoy it and would read further into their story if Ms. Lunsford granted us with more!

Ahhhh, yeah. So, I am not one for the paranormal or witchy or anything like that and this little novella definitely turned my mind right around in about a split second!!! Lucien with his gorgeous and mysterious eyes and haunting ways and our cute little h, Dahlia, who knows exactly what she wants without actually going at it straight away had me completely 'bewitched!' (Too cliche? Maybe!) What a fabulous story with hot sex scenes and a plot that left me wanting for more...more...more!!! When is the next one coming out, S.R.?!?
Ahren Sanders: Finding Our Way
Really enjoyed this little novella. It was very well written and I liked the h as she was so sweet and innocent. But I had a really difficult time with the H in this one. Yes, he is hot and sweet and endearing and pretty much the whole package...and he did the thing that you would hope every man would do every single time. However, he just seemed too old for his age in the way that he spoke and how he dealt with sexual situations. If I had met a guy like this in college - wow, I would never have looked anywhere else either, but it was just unrealistic to me. With that said, the writing was stellar and the character development was amazing - it just seemed too rushed for me, even though it took place over several years. The h was still too young for me to really get on board with the milestones that were reached as they were. Overall, great novella and I would absolutely read a follow up to this story in addition to any of Ms. Sanders' books.
Amber Nation: Seeing Their Worth
Well, this novella seriously took me by surprise! I am not one who loves a book about ex-cons and their lust/love stories, but this one actually got me right from the beginning! I think maybe it was because of the fantastic characters and the instalust that they showed for one another. Great way to start a novella and had me wanting more even though it only spanned such a short amount of time. I thought that Ms. Nation developed her h and H very well and portrayed their feelings enough so that you felt like it could have been you in such a situation. I am somewhat in love with Mason and Gwen right now and wouldn't mind seeing where they go from here!
Overall - Well done, ladies, as these are all great novellas that formed a fabulous anthology!!!

Intrigue Anthology a collaboration of six amazing women authors. Selling for an amazing pricing and proceeds are going to the author’s choice. That alone is worth picking this collection up. Then to top to off, I met authors for the first time. That is always exciting. I am so looking forward the next books in these series.
First off we have Disheveled by Eva LeNoir
Here we meet Delilah and Cole, roommates. Dia has loved Cole for the past four years. He in her words is a “man-whore.” Cole is sexy and hot. He can be my new book boyfriend (Just Sayin’). They banter like bother and sister but the sexual chemistry these two have is off the charts. Can they finally get it together and become lovers?
Well let’s just say that it gets smokin’ hot and the books start tumbling down. IT’S HOT!
And what is this #UCC? If I tell you, I’ll have to kill you…
Second we have Jaded by Andrea Smith
Here we meet Jade, Hayden, Presley and Adam. Jade goes on a vacation as Presley to meet Adam who she met online. They have mind blowing sex one night and then it’s over, or is it? The author leaves you guessing, page after page exacting what is happening. Then just as you think you have it figured out another WTF moment.
Third up is Promise and Protect by Leigh Ann Lunsford
Jessa is in protective custody and Dalton is the hot protector. Sparks fly between these two but can they remain safe so they can go on their first date? Can they stop the sexual tension and to the trail? Tragedy strikes and will a little thing like coma stop a first date?

Fourth there is EXPOSED: Laid Bare by S.R. Grey
Meet Dahlia a world famous photographer hired to do a lay out of very attractive and reclusive and secretive Lucien. This kind of book I normally don’t read, it’s a bit on the paranormal side. However, I found the characters intriguing and charming and the sex was way hot too. I’m looking forward to the follow-up book.
Fifth we have Finding Our Way by Ahren Sanders
Here we have Bryce and Devon. Devon a sassy teenager falling in love with Bryce her bothers best friend. This story takes you on Devon’s life, her coming of age, friendships and heartache, truths and new beginnings. The steamy sex scenes between Bryce and Devon are nothing short of combustible. This was the first book I read from Ms Sanders and it will not be the last. Come on spring 2015 so I can get the next part of this book.
The sixth and final Seeing Their Worth by Amber Nation
Here we have Gwen and Mason. Gwen is the owner of Big Pete’s a gay bar. Mason is an ex-con and Gwen’s new bartender. There’s an instant attraction between them and the sex is red hot! But can their love concur all is it worth it are they? I guess we’ll see.

Amazing stories by some very talented authors. I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I loved each one of these stories. They were all well written and unique in their own ways.
Disheveled is hot and sexy. There is so much steam you will have to wipe your e-reader off just to finish reading. It's amazing.
Jaded will definitely leave you thinking WTF? The story was awesome and had some very hot sexy times, they will leave you breathless.
Finding Our Way was a very sweet and hot story. It's kind of like a second chance love story and I love those. True love always wins.
Exposed: Laid Bare was one of the steamiest ones of the bunch. It will definitely leave you all hot and bothered.
Seeing Their Worth was also a very sweet story. It's amazing to see what love can do to a person mentally and physically.
Promise and Protect was another steamy read. This one was filled with angst and a very sexy Alpha male. I loved th strength both characters had.
Each one leaves you wanting more and I hope we get more from each story. The authors did an amazing job and they are supporting some amazing charities with the proceeds from this anthology. I recommend for everyone to pick this book up and read the great stories.

Disheveled by Eva LeNoir – 4.5 stars!!
I loved this story and even though it is a short, it did not feel that way when reading it. Delilah and Cole are roommates and have been for about four years. Delilah has loved Cole right from the very beginning but the feeling is not reciprocated. Cole is a player and it breaks Delilah a little bit more every time he is home late due to a dalliance with another conquest. But has Delilah misunderstood the vibes that come off Cole?
The banter between these two was brilliant, they were best friends and their relationship through Eva LeNoir's words had me loving them both completely. With UCC women’s gatherings, online dating, Star Wars quotes this short story was packed with plenty of laughs.

This short story is in Andrea Smith’s new series entitled WTF! And this book will certainly make you go WTF!!
Jade is a kept woman and is the official “other woman” to Hayden Berringer II. Hayden is super super rich and makes sure that Jade wants for nothing, but Jade is becoming disillusioned with her current circumstances. While it is nice to have the luxury, she craves attention and affection.
On one of her annual “Hayden ships Jade off on holiday for Christmas” vacations, Jade impersonates her friend and meets up with someone that she has met online…one night with Adam…she never sees his face, but becomes well acquainted with his body! But is all as it seems? Will her cover be blown? WTF!!!!!!
In true Andrea style, this short story has some steamy sex scenes; Andrea knows how to write HOT! I have a lot of unanswered questions, a lot of “what happened next” questions and lots of WTF questions, but that was the point of this book. I have to say I am upset that this is not a to be continued story as I really want to know what Andrea had planned, what Hayden knew and I want my WTF questions answered!!
Promise and Protect by Leigh Ann Lunsford – 4 stars!!
Jessa is in protective custody after putting away a crime lord that has evaded arrest and conviction for years and years. Having been brave in standing up to this man it puts Jessa in extreme danger. Although he is behind bars his contacts reach far and wide and until his chance of appeal is quashed Jessa needs to be kept safe. After already having one officer killed while keeping watch over her Jessa is reluctant to have another death on her conscience.
Dalton is the extremely yummy officer that is now in charge of Jessa’s safety. Jessa insisted on a single, non-family man after struggling with her guilt of leaving a wife and children without their husband and dad.
The attraction is off the charts but can they stay alive long enough for it to go any further? This was a really cute read, guilt can eat away at you if you let it but can these two get over the past and concentrate on a future? Maybe even their future?
EXPOSED: Laid Bare by S.R. Grey – 4 stars!!
Dahlia is a well renowned photographer and is excited at the thought of photographing her next subject, Lucien Chambers. Lucien Chambers was kind of a recluse with very little known about him or his past. Being a self-made multi-millionaire he is well known in his field and respected and also had the tag of being “Chicago’s Most Eligible Bachelor.”
While photographing Lucien at his home Dahlia is overcome by feelings for Lucien and she seems to have no control over what she feels and how she acts. Lucien is an absolute stallion and the sex in this book is extremely HOT!! Having captured an all telling picture the oddities surrounding Lucien come to the forefront, but what can or will happen between these two and is all as it seems?
This does have a paranormal undertone but not much is revealed so you are left guessing as to who or what Lucien may be. Although paranormal is not my usual read I enjoyed this story. I believe that this is a prequel to a book in the pipeline and I for one cannot wait to read more about these two.
Finding Our Way by Ahren Sanders – 4.5 stars!!
I loved this one, I am a sucker for friends to lovers and this book pulled me in from the get go. Bryce is the younger sister of Nate by just over three years. She has a very close relationship with her brother and his best friend Bryce. These three were inseparable and were the best of friends.
Devon has loved Bryce for years, some may have called it infatuation being that she was so young but to Devon it was the real thing. Devon makes her move when she is fifteen and Bryce is nineteen and as much as Bryce is taken aback by Devon’s sudden kiss, it seems that the feelings are definitely reciprocated. With Bryce and Nate going off to Uni and with Devon still at college, Bryce tells her that he hopes that she still feels the same way when she is eighteen.
What will happen when Devon turns eighteen…nothing you could have ever imagined.
This book is more than just a love story; it is about growing up, dealing with friendships, families, emotions, heartache, relationships, forgiveness and new beginnings. It covers such a broad range that you could not help but become immersed in their story and I did not want to put it down.
The chemistry between these two was scorching and the fact that this was a friends to lovers story really clawed at your emotions and I was totally invested. I just loved the whole vibe of this story. While this is a short story it did not feel that way while reading and I was left totally satisfied at the end. However, their story is to be continued and I cannot wait for the spring because I am itching to find out what happens to these two next.
Seeing Their Worth by Amber Nation – 3 stars!!
This is the story of Mason and Gwen. Mason has just been released from prison and is determined not to fall back into his old ways. He is determined to be the man that his sister needs him to be and to make up for his past mistakes. On release his brother-in-law picks him up and says that he needs to prove that he has changed, but in the interim he has found him a job and accommodation and now it was up to him to prove himself.
Gwen was the owner of a gay bar and Mason was her newest bartender and lodger. Gwen is feisty and fiery but obviously has a history that has made her that way. Throw in some erotic dancing, a fantastic body and some saucy undies and you have a just released convict’s fantasy.
The sex between these two was incredibly hot and it made for a good quick read but I just felt that even though this was a short story the content needed that little bit more to make it a great read.
In summary this collection was varied and had a little bit for everyone. It has introduced me to some authors I had never heard of but will definitely check out what else they have written going forward. There are some real gems in here and I can’t wait to catch up with some of the characters and the authors going forward.
The best part is that the proceeds of this book goes to charitable causes. At the time of writing this anthology is only 99p and will only be available for a short time.

I loved this story and even though it is a short, it did not feel that way when reading it. Delilah and Cole are roommates and have been for about four years. Delilah has loved Cole right from the very beginning but the feeling is not reciprocated. Cole is a player and it breaks Delilah a little bit more every time he is home late due to a dalliance with another conquest. But has Delilah misunderstood the vibes that come off Cole?
The banter between these two was brilliant, they were best friends and their relationship through Eva LeNoir's words had me loving them both completely. With UCC women’s gatherings, online dating, Star Wars quotes this short story was packed with plenty of laughs.

This short story is in Andrea Smith’s new series entitled WTF! And this book will certainly make you go WTF!!
Jade is a kept woman and is the official “other woman” to Hayden Berringer II. Hayden is super super rich and makes sure that Jade wants for nothing, but Jade is becoming disillusioned with her current circumstances. While it is nice to have the luxury, she craves attention and affection.
On one of her annual “Hayden ships Jade off on holiday for Christmas” vacations, Jade impersonates her friend and meets up with someone that she has met online…one night with Adam…she never sees his face, but becomes well acquainted with his body! But is all as it seems? Will her cover be blown? WTF!!!!!!
In true Andrea style, this short story has some steamy sex scenes; Andrea knows how to write HOT! I have a lot of unanswered questions, a lot of “what happened next” questions and lots of WTF questions, but that was the point of this book. I have to say I am upset that this is not a to be continued story as I really want to know what Andrea had planned, what Hayden knew and I want my WTF questions answered!!

Promise and Protect by Leigh Ann Lunsford – 4 stars!!
Jessa is in protective custody after putting away a crime lord that has evaded arrest and conviction for years and years. Having been brave in standing up to this man it puts Jessa in extreme danger. Although he is behind bars his contacts reach far and wide and until his chance of appeal is quashed Jessa needs to be kept safe. After already having one officer killed while keeping watch over her Jessa is reluctant to have another death on her conscience.
Dalton is the extremely yummy officer that is now in charge of Jessa’s safety. Jessa insisted on a single, non-family man after struggling with her guilt of leaving a wife and children without their husband and dad.
The attraction is off the charts but can they stay alive long enough for it to go any further? This was a really cute read, guilt can eat away at you if you let it but can these two get over the past and concentrate on a future? Maybe even their future?
“…but you will fail if you let me go, if you walk away from what could be because of your damn misplaced guilt.”
EXPOSED: Laid Bare by S.R. Grey – 4 stars!!
Dahlia is a well renowned photographer and is excited at the thought of photographing her next subject, Lucien Chambers. Lucien Chambers was kind of a recluse with very little known about him or his past. Being a self-made multi-millionaire he is well known in his field and respected and also had the tag of being “Chicago’s Most Eligible Bachelor.”
While photographing Lucien at his home Dahlia is overcome by feelings for Lucien and she seems to have no control over what she feels and how she acts. Lucien is an absolute stallion and the sex in this book is extremely HOT!! Having captured an all telling picture the oddities surrounding Lucien come to the forefront, but what can or will happen between these two and is all as it seems?
This does have a paranormal undertone but not much is revealed so you are left guessing as to who or what Lucien may be. Although paranormal is not my usual read I enjoyed this story. I believe that this is a prequel to a book in the pipeline and I for one cannot wait to read more about these two.

Finding Our Way by Ahren Sanders – 4.5 stars!!
I loved this one, I am a sucker for friends to lovers and this book pulled me in from the get go. Bryce is the younger sister of Nate by just over three years. She has a very close relationship with her brother and his best friend Bryce. These three were inseparable and were the best of friends.
Devon has loved Bryce for years, some may have called it infatuation being that she was so young but to Devon it was the real thing. Devon makes her move when she is fifteen and Bryce is nineteen and as much as Bryce is taken aback by Devon’s sudden kiss, it seems that the feelings are definitely reciprocated. With Bryce and Nate going off to Uni and with Devon still at college, Bryce tells her that he hopes that she still feels the same way when she is eighteen.
What will happen when Devon turns eighteen…nothing you could have ever imagined.
This book is more than just a love story; it is about growing up, dealing with friendships, families, emotions, heartache, relationships, forgiveness and new beginnings. It covers such a broad range that you could not help but become immersed in their story and I did not want to put it down.
The chemistry between these two was scorching and the fact that this was a friends to lovers story really clawed at your emotions and I was totally invested. I just loved the whole vibe of this story. While this is a short story it did not feel that way while reading and I was left totally satisfied at the end. However, their story is to be continued and I cannot wait for the spring because I am itching to find out what happens to these two next.

Seeing Their Worth by Amber Nation – 3 stars!!
This is the story of Mason and Gwen. Mason has just been released from prison and is determined not to fall back into his old ways. He is determined to be the man that his sister needs him to be and to make up for his past mistakes. On release his brother-in-law picks him up and says that he needs to prove that he has changed, but in the interim he has found him a job and accommodation and now it was up to him to prove himself.
Gwen was the owner of a gay bar and Mason was her newest bartender and lodger. Gwen is feisty and fiery but obviously has a history that has made her that way. Throw in some erotic dancing, a fantastic body and some saucy undies and you have a just released convict’s fantasy.
The sex between these two was incredibly hot and it made for a good quick read but I just felt that even though this was a short story the content needed that little bit more to make it a great read.
“We do owe it to ourselves to be with each other, we’ve proved that we are worth it.”
In summary this collection was varied and had a little bit for everyone. It has introduced me to some authors I had never heard of but will definitely check out what else they have written going forward. There are some real gems in here and I can’t wait to catch up with some of the characters and the authors going forward.
The best part is that the proceeds of this book goes to charitable causes. At the time of writing this anthology is only 99p and will only be available for a short time.

This book was amazing. You got 6 great novellas from 6 awesome authors. I read this because Leigh Ann Lunsford had a story in it.
Promise and Protect was so awesome. Leigh Ann nailed this story. It kept me from putting it down not one time. A very very well written story of about Jessa Pierce who can put one man away for good if she can stay alive for the trial. Dalton Avery is the man who is gonna make sure she makes it to the trial. He is there to protect her. And boy does he ever. She just doesn't want him to end up like the last man that was protecting her. Dalton does everything in his power to not mix his desire for her and his job to protect her. Leigh Ann nailed this story. But that's Leigh Ann she can nail your emotions in each book she has written.
From reading her story I went on with the other stories. OMG. Each one was so good and now I have found some new authors to read from.
Disheveled by Eva Lenoir Hit it big with me with Cole and Delilah. And the sex in this story was steaming the pages up.
Jaded by Andrea Smith Jade, Hayden and Adam. Oh my Hot! I want more of them. Great story. This one had me clear to the last page.
Exposed: Laid Bare by R.S. Grey Dahl and Lucien. This one kept me questioning about Lucien!
Finding our way by Ahren Sanders was awesome I loved this. Broken hearts and time to heal. But will it be what Devon has dreamed of having in her life?

Well I finished reading this Anthology and really loved all of them ! I review each below. This Anthology is a MUST READ !

I just needed to read the blurb to want to read more about Delilah. And, well, I was also curious ! Disheveled is part of an Anthology and when you buy it, you give money to charities. If you were not convinced by the beautiful cover to add it to your To Read List, I'm sure you are now !
Disheveled tells the story of a woman, Delilah Jameson, who lives with a gorgeous roomate : Cole. They have been roomates for four years now and never crossed the line... even if Delilah is tempted, frustrated and seduced by her roomate. She could have said yes, kissed him and had sex with Cole but what's the point? She will be just one name to add to his list and the only thing she dislikes about him is that he is the perfect womanizer. And there's a lot at stake when you're attracted by someone who could break your heart... Not to mention, that he's living under the same roof. It could make things complicated... So things stay the same, routines and life go on.
But Delilah doesn't give up on her dream to find the man who will be, not only the perfect lover but also her best friend. Her Han Solo... While she's trying to find her perfect match, she or rather we understand that she might find more than a one-night stand. And Cole proves to be helpful and understanding...
What if Delilah had it all wrong? What if dating online was more than just finding someone to satisfy her desires?
What I loved about this book is that I laughed a lot ! Delilah's UCC reunion, her friends and how she thinks was amusing and lovely. You can easily put yourself in her shoes and I loved that. Her conversation and attitude toward her roomate, Cole, was also fun to read. They had chemistry, with sexual tension and the kind of best-friend realtionship that I think blurs Delilah's mind. Sure, it must be hard to live with such an handsome and hot guy !
Bonus point : I love that we can read from Cole's point of view. It was a good surprise and helped to understand his actions and feelings. Though, I understood Cole and quickly made up my mind about him, it felt nice and realistic to see from his point of view !
To finish, Disheveled is the kind of book you would want to read after a hard and boring day at work. You'd want to get inside another woman's head, connect with her and share with her the pleasure of sexual, funny and tender moments. It was a fast read and smooth writing. This was an adult romance I recommand to every book lover (18+) because the end was satisfying... Now, I can't say more ! You will have to find out ! I'm sure you don't want to miss this hot love story !

This is the second book of Intrigue, the Anthology I talked to you about, and Jaded is a short story. I read it quickly because it was intriguing and something like I never read before. With objectivity, I can say it was good and nice to read. I enjoyed it because when I started reading, I knew what to expect. But I have to say, it was the one story of the Anthology I wasn't sure I would like. And I actually was surprised to find the Romance I love.
So here we go with my short and honest review !
Jade is a woman with a dark and complicated past. We quickly understand that she doesn't want to repeat her mother's mistakes and to do so, she managed to find someone who provides everything for her : stability, attention and money. She became Hayden's mistress and got used to him being a control freak. But three years passed and she realized that she wants more. At 31 years old, she thinks more and more about the few things Hayden can't give her... That's why she secretly started a new relationship with a man thanks to a Chat room. She knows it's kind of wrong but cherishes her new friend. They never saw each other but something deep is born. When they finally meet, everything's so different from what Jade is used to... and more perfect than she fantasized.
What I love the most was the beauty and the sensuality of certains scenes. I liked the authenticity of the main character. Though Jade warned us about the fact that we may not love her, I couldn't help but feeling sympathy for her. Not pity, no, but I could easily understand her.
I found it was interesting to read from a mistress' point of view but I also think it's not just about that. Jade has a story and what she experiences with Adam is beautiful too. It's a touch of romance, a love story that moved me.
Finally, I enjoyed the end of the short story is both frustrating and satisfying. Because I want to know what's next for Jade (Yes I'm that kind of reader, when it's good, you always want more !) but it was this WTF? moment caused by surprise and unexpected elements. And I love that !
3) Promise and Protect by Leigh Ann Lunsford
Jessa is a state attorney who put her life in danger by imprisoning a criminal who had terrorized her city and too many innocents. And because Bryant Cole is the devil, he tried to kill her but it's a friend of her defunt father who died, trying to save her. She is an easy target and it's really hard on her to live with the consequences of her success at the court. The guilt is heavy and obviously deeply changes her life. But above all, she has to disappear and hide because Bryant Cole, even in jails, is still a big threat. Until his final appeal in court, she has to be guarded and protected by Dalton, the handsome, benevolent and very protective cop. The fear never leaves her mind and, as her interest for Dalton is growing, the danger, their pride and the unexpected get mixed...
Well, Leigh Ann Lunsford had me at "passion, danger and love" ! That's usually what I love about Romance and I was looking forward to meet these two characters and know more about how their relationship is built. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed at all ! Sure, I had figured the kind of tension Jessa and Dalton could experience but I love how it's not that easy ! I loved the personnal history of these two characters and how, in the end, everything makes sense. I have to admit, for one moment I feared that I wouldn't love the ending... I let you discover why ! But I adored all of it !
The chemistry between Dalton and Jessa was fun to witness and it wasn't cliché at all ! I felt like they were playing cat and mouse with each other. Because when one of them refused to engage more until everyone was safe and sound, the other one was so damm attracted... ! I had what I enjoy the most in a Romance novella : intensity, tenderness and hotness.
Bonus point : Dalton is not my book boyfriend type but god, how do you stay indifferent?!! You can't ! I loved how complex and tortured he was. Jessa and Dalton were both so touching and sexy !
Again, I loved Promise and Protect and I hope you will buy this amazing Anthology and read all of them. It's gold !
4) Exposed : Laid Bare by S.R. Grey
I continue devouring this excellent Anthology and now I have the pleasure to tell you about the novella S.R. Grey wrote.
I found the blurb really attracting (oh just like Lucien Chambers : not a coincidence !) and was obviously dying to read this novella. Just like the three I read before (see my reviews), I enjoyed very much my read. It was a fast reading, compelling and... kind of unsatisfying but in the best way ! Sometimes, a book needs to leave you such a great impression so you want more : it worked perfectly here ! Not only I want to know more about Lucien and Dahlia, but I want to read more of S.R. Grey's books.
I loved the writing : it was smooth, not heavy and above all, I think there were elements I didn't see coming. There were moments I had imagined differently and a puzzling sensuality. The latter was all because of the ambiance of the book and the mystery around the figure of Lucien Chambers. I adore this kind of character ! I want to know more about who and what Lucien is. I was really hooked up by him and what we (Dahlia and I) didn't know about him.
I enjoyed reading about their relation and the fact that it seems to be more than physical... while being really hot between them (understatement of the century !). Again, I want to know more about that and why Dahlia feels this way about him. You could think it was a bit fast but somehow you know there is a good reason for it.
5) Finding their way by Ahren Sanders
Devon and Bryce are made for each other but life is twisted and have teared them apart. Devon's heart was broken, the guy she fell far when she was a teenager isn't here for her as he promised. Bryce ended up where his heart couldn't be but he realizes quickly that he has to do everything to get what he always wanted and needed. And everything he wants is Devon. How can they find their way to each other after all this wasted time?
First, let me tell you I fell for this love story so bad ! I adored this two characters and their relationship's developement. It was easy to understand Devon's broken heart and why she tried to protect it. But we can also get how difficult it was for Bryce. They both suffered and as we read, we can appreciate the healing process. It was realistic, without cliché and tender. I loved it !
As for how hot Bryce and Devon were, well, sure you will find beauty there too. I mean that they were chemistry, tenderness and accompliceship. I could feel how and why the sex, the past and their love were knotted.
I also laugh a lot while reading this novella. Quinn and Devon are really endearing and some situations were so nice and amusing. I won't tell you much about that because you have to find out ! This novella is full of everything I love : emotion, suspens (will they finally have their happy ending?) and hotness !
I really loved Seeing Their Worth and here is the reasons why you HAVE to get your copy of this amazing, beautiful, sexy and gripping anthology of six novellas. Amber Nation gives us a story about two characters damaged and scared of how life would be if they started to let someone get close again. Gwen knows the risks while Mason understands that he wants more than a one-night stand. It's again, the romance I love !
6) Seeing their worth by Amber Nation
This is the last novella I read from Intrigue and it was both moving and seductive !
First, I enjoyed the topics of this story : fresh start, forgiveness, love and past. I loved the two points of view and I liked that we jump right into the heart of the story. Mason is exactly the kind of book boryfriend I adore to fall for. I liked how his past shaped him, his determination to try to be a better person. He went through hell and really deserved some good in his life. Well... he is also HOT ! Not only because he is a former bad boy and looks like he escaped from the pages of a magazin, but mostly because he's reliable and understanding. That's great qualities, don't you think?
I loved Gwen too and felt close to her instantly. She has her own scars and it seems hard to hide them when she's around Mason. They are a perfect match but the love story, realistic and deep, wasn't easy to build for the two of them. I mean that the pace of how it happens is great because there's no rush and it's beautifully written. It's like they test each other before they really go for more than just sex.
I was amazed by how intense these novella was. It's a fast read that contains sexy, tender and funny moments. As in the five other novellas, you could feel everything and the end was satisfying. I enjoyed discovering Amber Nation and will (right now) check her other books. I hope you will too because you should NOT miss the chance to buy Intrigue.
What a perfect anthology ! I wish you a wonderful read, already knowing you will enjoy and devour Intrigue like I did. It was a real pleasure for me to reconnect with Romance thanks to this anthology. I'm looking forward to get to know more all these talented, kind and generous authors. I hope you will too !

Well, Leigh Ann Lunsford had me at "passion, danger and love" ! That's usually what I love about Romance and I was looking forward to meet these two characters and know more about how their relationship is built. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed at all ! Sure, I had figured the kind of tension Jessa and Dalton could experience but I love how it's not that easy ! I loved the personnal history of these two characters and how, in the end, everything makes sense. I have to admit, for one moment I feared that I wouldn't love the ending... I let you discover why ! But I adored all of it !
The chemistry between Dalton and Jessa was fun to witness and it wasn't cliché at all ! I felt like they were playing cat and mouse with each other. Because when one of them refused to engage more until everyone was safe and sound, the other one was so damm attracted... ! I had what I enjoy the most in a Romance novella : intensity, tenderness and hotness.
Bonus point : Dalton is not my book boyfriend type but god, how do you stay indifferent?!! You can't ! I loved how complex and tortured he was. Jessa and Dalton were both so touching and sexy !
Again, I loved Promise and Protect and I hope you will buy this amazing Anthology and read all of them. It's gold !
4) Exposed : Laid Bare by S.R. Grey
I continue devouring this excellent Anthology and now I have the pleasure to tell you about the novella S.R. Grey wrote.
I found the blurb really attracting (oh just like Lucien Chambers : not a coincidence !) and was obviously dying to read this novella. Just like the three I read before (see my reviews), I enjoyed very much my read. It was a fast reading, compelling and... kind of unsatisfying but in the best way ! Sometimes, a book needs to leave you such a great impression so you want more : it worked perfectly here ! Not only I want to know more about Lucien and Dahlia, but I want to read more of S.R. Grey's books.
I loved the writing : it was smooth, not heavy and above all, I think there were elements I didn't see coming. There were moments I had imagined differently and a puzzling sensuality. The latter was all because of the ambiance of the book and the mystery around the figure of Lucien Chambers. I adore this kind of character ! I want to know more about who and what Lucien is. I was really hooked up by him and what we (Dahlia and I) didn't know about him.
I enjoyed reading about their relation and the fact that it seems to be more than physical... while being really hot between them (understatement of the century !). Again, I want to know more about that and why Dahlia feels this way about him. You could think it was a bit fast but somehow you know there is a good reason for it.
5) Finding their way by Ahren Sanders
Devon and Bryce are made for each other but life is twisted and have teared them apart. Devon's heart was broken, the guy she fell far when she was a teenager isn't here for her as he promised. Bryce ended up where his heart couldn't be but he realizes quickly that he has to do everything to get what he always wanted and needed. And everything he wants is Devon. How can they find their way to each other after all this wasted time?
First, let me tell you I fell for this love story so bad ! I adored this two characters and their relationship's developement. It was easy to understand Devon's broken heart and why she tried to protect it. But we can also get how difficult it was for Bryce. They both suffered and as we read, we can appreciate the healing process. It was realistic, without cliché and tender. I loved it !
As for how hot Bryce and Devon were, well, sure you will find beauty there too. I mean that they were chemistry, tenderness and accompliceship. I could feel how and why the sex, the past and their love were knotted.
I also laugh a lot while reading this novella. Quinn and Devon are really endearing and some situations were so nice and amusing. I won't tell you much about that because you have to find out ! This novella is full of everything I love : emotion, suspens (will they finally have their happy ending?) and hotness !
I really loved Seeing Their Worth and here is the reasons why you HAVE to get your copy of this amazing, beautiful, sexy and gripping anthology of six novellas. Amber Nation gives us a story about two characters damaged and scared of how life would be if they started to let someone get close again. Gwen knows the risks while Mason understands that he wants more than a one-night stand. It's again, the romance I love !
6) Seeing their worth by Amber Nation
This is the last novella I read from Intrigue and it was both moving and seductive !
First, I enjoyed the topics of this story : fresh start, forgiveness, love and past. I loved the two points of view and I liked that we jump right into the heart of the story. Mason is exactly the kind of book boryfriend I adore to fall for. I liked how his past shaped him, his determination to try to be a better person. He went through hell and really deserved some good in his life. Well... he is also HOT ! Not only because he is a former bad boy and looks like he escaped from the pages of a magazin, but mostly because he's reliable and understanding. That's great qualities, don't you think?
I loved Gwen too and felt close to her instantly. She has her own scars and it seems hard to hide them when she's around Mason. They are a perfect match but the love story, realistic and deep, wasn't easy to build for the two of them. I mean that the pace of how it happens is great because there's no rush and it's beautifully written. It's like they test each other before they really go for more than just sex.
I was amazed by how intense these novella was. It's a fast read that contains sexy, tender and funny moments. As in the five other novellas, you could feel everything and the end was satisfying. I enjoyed discovering Amber Nation and will (right now) check her other books. I hope you will too because you should NOT miss the chance to buy Intrigue.
What a perfect anthology ! I wish you a wonderful read, already knowing you will enjoy and devour Intrigue like I did. It was a real pleasure for me to reconnect with Romance thanks to this anthology. I'm looking forward to get to know more all these talented, kind and generous authors. I hope you will too !

I have read many anthologies in my time.. some good, some not so good (to me), and some were in the middle. I have to admit, I loved Intrigue!
What a great collection of books with different genres - there is something for everyone. And, for only 99c, this is an absolute bargain and a must buy - not to mention that the proceeds go to amazing charities.

I've never read a police officer book (I know, I know..), so this was the perfect initiation.
Jessa Pierce is one tough cookie, which I loved. Strong female characters are popping up more and more and I am all for this girl power movement (queue Spice Girls music). It was a quality that I thoroughly enjoyed and felt myself drawn to.
After helping to put away a crime lord, she is forced to go in to hiding and the delicious Dalton Avery is there to protect her. And protect her he does! His sexiness oozes and the hard working Jessa is forced to look at herself differently whilst trying to resist his charms.

Jade Roberts is a 'kept' woman.. a mistress of sorts. You want to hate her, but you can't. If it's not her, it will be someone else but she was really likeable. Super genuine and not at all needy, spoilt or nasty - she was genuine, sweet, honest and honest. Love that in a female character.
There was intrigue, lust, drama and a handful of shocking moments that was brilliant. The topic in general is one that you will definitely need to discuss with your girlfriends after you read this .. would you be a mistress in this situation? After asking myself this and discussing it with friends who've read this, I think my answer is still 'I don't know' .. before this book, it would have been a flat out no. But Jaded makes you second guess everything you believe..
Finding Our Way

I have a confession here, I am not an NA fan by any means.. I avoid them mostly and sometimes. The reason for my confession? This NA book has turned me around. It was that good.
Very well written, I have to admit, I was hooked from the word go.
Devon Harris has been in love with her brother's best friend from the second she laid eyes on him. A 'complication' meant that they couldn't be together and so she set out to forge a life for herself and get over Bryce Randolph.
But Bryce gets his life in order and comes back for Devon..
I don't want to spoil this by giving you more.. all I can say is, it's a must read. Perfect in every way.

This book has a hint of paranormal.. I have to admit, I've only read The Sookie Stackhouse Series that was paranormal, but I truly loved this. SR's writing style is fantastic and one that I now know that I will pick up again.
The vulnerability of Dahlia was endearing. Her naivety was not annoying (like in some other books I've read) which was so great and to the point where it was honest. Her connection with Lucien was magnetic and their story will make you want to read more once you're done.. I can't wait to find out more about Lucien and read about his and Dahlia's story.
I have to admit, the name Lucien for the male character scares me, but I thought it was fitting at the end of the book.
Definitely worth a read!

I don't like to play favourites but Disheveled was ah-mazing. The UCC is unlike anything I've ever read (yes, I know what UCC is but if I told you, I'd have to kill you! hehe).
It was well written, witty, sooooo hot and something you will definitely want to continue reading.
The characters are extremely likeable. Dia being the gorgeously sweet Art Gallery owner and Cole being the sexy lawyer with an 8 pack to die for.. If I haven't already lost you yet (because I know that last line made you instantly leave this review and buy this), then let me tell you, the sex is sizzling hot..and there may or may not be a book shelf scene that will make want to strip.. Ok, for sure now I've lost you!
The supporting characters are so great. The setting at Ruby's (you have to read to understand, but trust me, it's great!) where all the UCC girls meet, is so unique. You get enough of every character to make sure you want to come back for more and read the rest of the saga.
This anthology supports such amazing charities and for only 99c, it's a no brainer!

I was given this book for my honest review.

A puzzle piece can also be the picture of life. As we begin to grow into our lives we are just a piece of a very large puzzle that has yet to be put together in its entirety. As each piece is created we come to see that the largest puzzle piece in the universe is us. Each of us is created differently and none of us the same but as we find our partners in life we also see that we have a specific fit with that person. We are a unique piece of the biggest puzzle in creation.
Disheveled is the first book in this Anthology by Eva LeNoir. Come with me and meet Cole and Delilah as they begin to find out that games one plays that you think you can win may not be the truth after all. If winning the is the end prize just think what losing is? Can losing be the ultimate win between these two or will they butt heads and come to equal ground in winning and losing and find out both may or may not be as sweet. Did I mention the sex is hotter than a tin roof on a sunny day?
Jaded by Andrea Smith is the 2nd. Come and meet Presley and Adam or is it Jade and Hayden? This is a wicked story that you will so love to read. The sex is hot but the story in itself is enthralling that will leave you guessing from the first chapter and hold you there with questions in your mind to the very last page. A few surprises await you and will leave you wanting more of Jade, Hayen and Adam for sure. Did I mention the orgasms are mind blowing?
Promise and Protect is the 3rd story by Leigh Ann Lunsford. Come and meet Dalton and Jessa. Being captive for days never seems so sweet unless you’re in protective custody with a hot guy that leads to many orgasms and hot hot sex that includes surprises along the way. Even strangers when they first meet have a spark that leads to ignite a flame but they way this story is written you so will have to read it for yourself and be prepared to scream a bit along the way.

Finding Our Way is the 5th story by, Ahren Sanders. Come and meet Bryce and Devon. I really enjoyed this story of the young and innocent Devon with determination. I also really loved Bryce though always staying true to his heart he put others before him when he didn’t feel anything. The growth of Devon and Bryce’s love is a like a seed that takes time to grow and with a lot of TLC it flourishes. The sex when these two finally get there is surreal and hot.
Seeing their Worth is the 6th and final story by, Amber Nation. Come and meet Mason and Gwen. Can Gwen and Mason find a future together even though the past is lurking at every corner? Can this couple understand one another and both see that with determination that love even with past mistakes made by each one of them that love can truly be in store for them or will they succumb to let their past rule their futures? Love is a powerful force even at first lick. The sex is explosive for sure.
To the authors: Each of you in your own stories that you have written are explosive. You all have taken subjects that are in our everyday lives of men and women and brought twist and turns that we can all learn from and with outcomes that we all would love to work towards. The women and the men in your stories are all strong but the glue that bonds them together is their significant other or we hope that they end up together. I also really loved Bryce though always staying true to his heart he put others before him when he didn’t feel anything. The growth of Devon and Bryce’s love is a like a seed that takes time to grow and with a lot of TLC it flourishes. The sex when these two finally get there is surreal and hot.
Seeing their Worth is the 6th and final story by, Amber Nation. Come and meet Mason and Gwen. Can Gwen and Mason find a future together even though the past is lurking at every corner? Can this couple understand one another and both see that with determination that love even with past mistakes made by each one of them that love can truly be in store for them or will they succumb to let their past rule their futures? Love is a powerful force even at first lick. The sex is explosive for sure.
To the authors: Each of you in your own stories that you have written are explosive. You all have taken subjects that are in our everyday lives of men and women and brought twist and turns that we can all learn from and with outcomes that we all would love to work towards. This was one of the hottest novellas I've ever read. I was bummed when it ended. Please tell me there will be more. Meet Delilaha a gallery owner who is in love with her "man whore" roommate Cole. Cole is sex on legs and will make every girl's panties melt. The sexual tension between these two is off the charts hot. Without giving away any spoilers I will say I loved this novella and can't wait to read more about these two and the rest of the UCC club. Ladies have your B.O.B's handy when reading Eva LaNoir's novella.

Wow. This book is a true WTF? It's going to part of a series called WTF. Jade is a mistress of a rich and powerful man named Hayden. She's restless and is ready for something different to happen in her life. She gets a month long vacation every Christmas to a destination of her choosing. She met a man in a chat room and has plans to met him. This is one of the best nights of her life. Then a WTF moment happens and it's not what she was expecting. It's hard to review this one without giving away spoilers. It's a different story full of passion and intrigue. Just as you think you know what's going on then bam a WTF moment happens. I enjoyed this story but was left wanting more of it.

This is the first anthology I've read and reviewed. I've read reviews by others that many (not all) anthologies are very mish mashed and the writings don't 'gel' on the whole. That is NOT the case with this anthology. The authors collectively all provide stories that do exactly as it says on the cover - Intrigue.

I'd never read this author before but damn straight I'll be reading her again. I absolutely loved this short story. Delilah & Cole were one of those 'non-couples' who you absolutely rooted for because you just knew they HAD to happen. I think I fell in love with Cole from our first intro. The plot kept you reading and I literally LOL'd and read some of Cole's hysterical one liners out to my husband. Loved, loved, LOVED this story.

This short story, well, I've been trying to think of a way to review it and I'm still stumped. It was some a complete spin out. I'll let other readers wreck their head over this but you have to read it to agree with me that it leaves you confused as hell and pretty damn horny. The sex was immense! The characters well written but the plot just totally fucked with my mind (which was the point so hats off to Andrea)

I wouldn't want to miss out on this particular story. Hats off to SR Grey for making me hot as hell for Lucien, who is.., what he is. I don't know. But, damn, do I want to find me one of his kind. Fantastic story, I love that Dahlia was a virgin & I loved that popping her cherry wasn't painful because Lucien is just that fucking good haha Can't wait to read more with this couple.

My only hang up was the 'love on the first day' factor but you know what? It didn't spoil the book for me and I thought the sex was hot and the coming together of two people who were kinda lost was fantastic. They just matched each other somehow.
On the whole this was a 5 star read and the fact that it was for charity is just the cherry on top of a totally fabulous cake! If you haven't already - BUY IT! If you have already purchased then enjoy the hell out of it because I guarantee if one of these stories doesn't quite do it for you (for whatever reason) then the next one in the anthology will, it's got something for everyone. Well done to all six authors, this book is a work of art and your work is helping people who need it most, I respect you all MASSIVELY for that!

This is a great novella about a DA and her dealing with her guilt. The police officer protecting Jessa is killed and she is assigned a new officer, Dalton, to protect her. She feels an attraction to him, as he does her. At times I felt like he was one of the bad guys and at other times he was a good guy. This book is full of drama and angst, add in some sexual tension and it's perfect.

This is one of the best anthologies I have read in a long time. All 6 authors created unique and enticing stories. Though sometimes Novellas can leave you hanging at the end, these 6 stories all had their beginnings, their peaks and their conclusions. One story does leave you hanging and longing for the next book to complete the story but it left me yearning for the release of the next book. Great love stories with struggles, love lost and found and plenty of sex! I gave this 5 stars for I know any readers will not be disappointed. I will be looking for all the other books written by these authors. Great way to bring lesser known authors to the forefront and also parts of the proceeds go to worthy causes.

I loved this!! A few of my favorite authors and some news one all together, what could be better? I loved reading one hot, steamy story after another. They all went well together and didn't take long to read! The stories were well developed and didn't seem rushed, even as novellas. Normally I'm a novel girl, I like to get deep into a story, but the novellas were perfect! I'll definitely be reading more from all of these authors!

Each if these stories stood out in their own way. They're each unique and hot in their own way. Some of these stories are unlike any other I've read and that's refreshing. I found myself wanting more after they were done! In a way I have a love hate relationship with anthologies because I love reading them but I hate when I great story ends. Each of these authors are amazing writers and I look forward to reading more from them.

Wonderful collaboration from six very talented authors. Each story brings us strong men, determined women and enthralling story lines. There is hot steamy sex in some and sweet love in others.
