Nicole Davis is tired of trying to make men happy. Giving her marriage all she had and where did that leave her? Broken. Dealing with the betrayal of her husband has been difficult. Although he wasn't the greatest at monogamy, he did bring her out of her shell. He introduced her into a world where sex was not something to be kept in a box in the dark. Sex is power and passion and she liked it. Never wanting to feel ashamed of how much she enjoyed it she just stayed with him. Knowing no man would ever accept her as damaged as she had become. She wanted to leave so many times but never had the nerve. Now moving back home after ten years of living the life of a submissive Army wife. She has decided from now on she is going to be in charge. Her sex life has been lacking but that's about to change. She now has the strength to stand up and take what she wants. Thankful for Her ex-husband and best friend, Scott, for being there and helping her heal. He is about to find out that she still loves him more than he ever knew. The question is will he be able to handle the woman she has become.

About the author

Nikki grew up traveling the world with her family. Her father was in the U.S. Air Force. Her mom is her best friend in the world and her sister has made her an aunt. As an adult she married a career Army man and became an avid reader with more imagination than she could contain. They have since divorced but have remained friends. Nikki now lives in a small town in South Alabama with her two dogs Abbie and Zoey. She loves bowling and riding her motorcycle.

She attended the Wallace Community Collage.

Hot! Hot! Hot! I love nicole Davis! She is a strong woman that knows what she wants and how to get it! The story grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. Its a short read but well worth it!

This book seriously needs an editor. There were incomplete sentences, bizarre punctuation and random words capitalized. The writing was not consistent and I felt no connection with the characters. This would have been a DNF for me, but I needed to finish it for a reading challenge. Thankfully it was short.

This book is a quick read and the characters of Nikki and Scott are very likeable and Idefinitely ended upup rooting for them. Kay just didn't seem realistic to me and I think there were a lot of opportunities to turn this into a deeper story with Nikki and Matt that just weren't explored.
I did find the (lack of ) editing to distract from the story at times.
