Rate this book
This fictional psychological thriller is a heartbreaking story you will not forget.

When a young teen named Bly Woods tragically loses her older sister, Blaire, in a devastating and unexpected death, her life slowly begins to crumble. During her journey to cope with her guilt, she numbs her pain instead of healing, which leads Bly to endure more trauma.

Disturbing and gut-wrenching, yet powerful in the end.

Will she heal from it? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure- nothing is ever what it seems.

Missouri, My Sweet hit hard. It’s emotional, tense, and the kind of story that sticks with you. Bly Woods’ world completely shatters after losing her sister Blaire, and watching her try to hold it together is both heartbreaking and impossible to look away from.

The author really makes you feel Bly’s grief, the guilt, the pain, and the choices she makes to escape it. Sometimes you just want to shake her, but at the same time, you get it. That’s what makes her feel so real.

This isn’t just about loss, it’s about what happens when you don’t deal with it. Bly’s way of coping only drags her into more trouble, and it’s frustrating but so believable.

Some parts are heavy and honestly disturbing, but they’re what give the story its punch. It’s raw, it’s messy, and it doesn’t give you a neat, tied-up ending.

If you want a psychological thriller that’s emotional but also keeps you on edge, Missouri, My Sweet is worth the read.
