okay so this is a super hyped up story and I did enjoy the first volume which is why I gave it 4 stars, even though if I was being harsh I would give it 3. But 4 stars for keeping me reading, entertained and still intrigued. I actually like the characters, even the annoying/bad ones. The FL is the best and the ML is really annoying but I also like him?? Idk this story has me conflicted, lmfao. The title is funny because I feel like this is just another reincarnation story but it is better? the worst thing about this book so far is how dumb everyone is the castle seems and they just blame everything on Edith. It’s kind of repetitive. Something bad happens > Edith is blamed > charges dropped. But I still like the angst between Edith and Killian. I’ll keep reading for now. Considering this volume chapters 1-38, based on 116 chapters and only 3 volumes on GR.

I actually really liked the beginning of this. Edith knowing she's supposed to be the villainess and trying EVERYTHING to avoid her original fate should've been another generic reincarnation plot, but the story immediately starts throwing problems at her that she can't just solve with future knowledge. And Killian? Sir, I understand that you have your reasons, but you are making it VERY difficult for me to like you. 😭 Edith was genuinely trying her best while everyone was determined to treat her like the villain she was supposed to be. I was hooked.
