Cole is a good friend. So when he gifted me this book I was a little nervous to read it because what if it sucked?
That was not the case. This book was a gold mine of breakup wisdom. Full of beautiful metaphors and super practical advice that you can actually apply. I would recommend this to anyone going through a breakup, whether you're the heartbroken or heartbreaker, though ESPECIALLY if you're the heartbroken.
In a time of grief, potential confusion, and despair, this will be your life raft of hope that guides you back to yourself, I guarantee it.
As a mom I think this would be a great book to share with your adult children going through a divorce or breakup. We forget how hard break ups can be! This book could be a great help to get some advice that isn’t from parents. It’s hard to know what to say when our kids are going through hard things and this book can gives great advice with empathy and hope!
Great book to get perspective and to have guidelines to how to move forwards. Also, it’s nice to have pointers about attachment styles and how people act depending on their attachment.
This book came into my life at a time when I was hurting, confused, and searching for clarity after a breakup. Ex’s and No’s doesn’t sugarcoat anything. It speaks truth in love. It challenged my mindset, helped me reflect on my own patterns, and reminded me that healing is about becoming stronger, wiser, and more grounded in who you are.
Reading this gave me perspective I didn’t even know I needed. It helped me stop romanticizing the past and start investing in myself again. I’m genuinely in a healthier place because of what I learned here. If you’re going through heartbreak and want real growth, not false hope, then this book is for you.
