Published in English this year as Black Star. Juan Giménez is fantastic as always, not quite up to the standard he set in Metabaron but still good. The story is honestly a bit forgettable, a space adventure with a weird black star planet that may be holding forgotten technology.
The art is awesome. The original cover is perhaps one of the best sci-fi illustrations I've ever seen, with the zombies reaching around to grab Speed's face. There is a lot here to admire. The problem is there's not enough story to make it memorable. It all seems kind of sketched in, like each page needed two more pages to flesh out the ideas and to round out the characters. It goes from 0 to 100, then it's over just like that. But for someone who's wondering what it was like to read Heavy Metal magazine back in the day, this graphic novel is a good example.
An entry from later in Gimenez carrier now in English!. The art is gorgeus and the composition and writing really good our heroes put together a heist crew to find an alleged treasure basically. I just have to withdraw one star since that's not how neutron stars work or anything really.
