Books For Kids: The RPG Maker (KIDS MYSTERY BOOKS #10) (Books For Kids, Kids Books, Children's Books, Free Stories, Kids Fantasy Books, Kids Mystery Books, Series Books For Kids Ages 4-8, 6-8, 9-12)

Allen Martin likes games, especially computer games. His brother Alvin is a programmer in University. Because of that, their home hardware is always the best and his brother let him have the latest games. He doesn’t have many friends at school, except those who played online games with him. It doesn’t matter; they’re no good with the games he liked anyway. He doesn’t like to go out anyway.

One day, his brother forgot to lock up his room. Seeing his chance to see all the new, under-development games in his brother’s personal computer, he managed to open it, even if it had a password. And a particular icon caught his attention. It says World Maker. Interesting!

Follow what happens to Allen and his misadventures as he explores his brother’s RPG Maker.

I am 8 years old and I am doing a computer course, to learn how to mod. So I couldn't wait to read this story about 10 year old Allen.

The idea of the pixelated game editor in the story was awesome and the ending was so surprising. Just the thought of having a RPG editor like that made me super excited. Couldn't stop thinking about what I could change using the editor.

I found even the comparison of the editor to other games was funny and I think any kid like me who likes computers should read this. And I still can't get over the ending its so weird/unique that its funny and shocking at the same time.
