Times are changing for the Montana wolves, and they're changing far too quickly for Maggie Porter's liking. After a bloody battle with one rival pack and another on the horizon, she wishes things could just go back to the way they used to be. But not until she gets to the bottom of this latest mystery. Who is Greyson West, really, and why did he help her escape the enemy.

Greyson West can't wait to bring his all-too traditional pack into the future. Stuck under his father's tyrannical rule that still supports arranged marriages and allows the murder of humans for sport, he knows the time to step in and take over as alpha is now. But his mission is derailed when he meets a stubborn female who he can't get out of his head.

Sleeping with the enemy could cost him his chance at becoming alpha, but he's never been much on following the rules...

Well, this one was the best of the bunch. I can't believe that Chloe got so much information and story telling packed into such a short little book! Maggie and Greyson are well drawn characters and I found myself rooting for them both.

I liked the tension between the traditional 'old-school' wolves who need to be dragged kicking and screaming into this century and the more progressive wolves who will have to do the dragging. Poor Maggie doesn't like a lot of what the old guard stand for, but she hates change and everything is changing so quickly! Enter Greyson, he just bowls her over so quickly that changes are the least of her problems.

Again we are left wanting more even though this is not a cliffhanger ending. I'm looking forward to reading the continuing adventures in the next series of installments which are apparently going to be about one of the other packs.

I'm hoping that Chloe may, at some point, write a novel in this world. It is certainly interesting enough. I recommend these 4 books to anyone who wants a light paranormal read. They are kinda like Lays chips, you can't read just one.

WOW...before talking about the series as one, I will talk about this one....

I think each of these stories just keeps getting better and better. Grey is just as dreamy as the other wolves. This one just had a little something more. I don't know if it was the impending war between the packs or what. I love the back and forth between Grey and Maggie. The forbidden love element sort of drove this story.

This series as a whole was great. The continued character development drives the story. I love the culture of the werewolves. They mate for life and travel in packs. They are family and they fight for each other to the death if they have too.

I look forward to more from Chloe Cole. She has a way with writing that touches readers to the core.

Romance and Supernatural are my two favorite genres; so when an author puts them together it is like having my cake and eating it too. Ms. Cole had me at word one. I couldn't put this series down.....now it is on to the next one......

....Happy Reading!!!!!!!

This is a very, very short story that is not a standalone read. If you choose to read this series you should get the collection because other than the first book the other books will be confusing as there is no explanation of prior stories. The Dragon series was great, these not so much. The story is choppy and ends abruptly.

So this was another great read with what I would say is a cliff hanger for an ending....Did Grey take over his pack, did Maggie go with him and help run the clan? I hope there are more books on the way

A HOWLING GREAT READ!
Wow! I love it! Ms. Cole has once again delivered a masterpiece of entertainment with Opposition Book 4 in the Montana Wolves saga. This book gives us the powerful and compelling story of beautiful, brave wolf, Maggie Porter, a fierce warrior of Pray pack and handsome, sexy, alpha wolf, Greyson West of Big Sky Canyon pack. We first meet Grey in Book 3, Redemption, when he suddenly appears and saves Maggie's life during the battle between the Pray and Kotke packs. Grey should not have been there and knew he should not have intervened but even though they were sworn enemies, there was just something about Maggie's brave wolf that he could not ignore. He could not bear the thought of her death by the Kotke pack. Grey is the son of Joseph West, Alpha of the Big Sky Canyon pack and has returned after a year's absence to somehow, remove his Father as Alpha and take over the leadership of his pack before it's too late. Grey suspects his Father of being mentally unstable and his suspicions are confirmed when he declares war on the Pray pack. Maggie remembers Grey and the events that transpired during the battle and dreams of seeing him again. Will Grey succeed in stopping his father and prevent the bloodshed and slaughter of his pack? Will Maggie and Grey find a way to explore a relationship or will all be lost, including their lives? The story is fast paced, gripping, powerful and exciting. The dialog is smart, sassy and well written. The characters are intriguing and well developed. These elements combine to give us a fantastic story, a great read and wonderful entertainment! Ms. Cole has taken her readers on a magical journey and I can hardly wait to continue that journey in her next book Coercion.

The time has come for Greyson to step up and take over as alpha but his plans are derailed when he meets the stubborn Maggie and sleeping with the enemy could cost him his chance at stopping his father in this riveting paranormal romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, excitement and romance. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Greyson meets his true mate Maggie while he trying to save his people and the pack that his father is bent on destroying. Sparks fly from first meeting and only get hotter as they story progresses but being from opposing packs makes their relationship a little difficult.

The well written scenes and details capture the imagination as the well orchestrated suspense and action draw the reader deeper into the story. Anticipation builds as the battle looms between the two packs and neither Grey nor Maggie can come up with a way to stop it.

While too short, the story is an enjoyable and entertaining with strong captivating characters and an intriguing world. I haven’t read the previous books in this series and though not absolutely necessary, I might have enjoyed this one better if I had the background of the previous three books.

Opposition: Montana Wolves book 4: I love it when an author takes an unsympathetic character and gives motivation to force me to begin to like--then completely root for the character. Maggie is such a character. In the last book, she was the strongest werewolf's voice against saving and taking in the human Amber. In the end she saved Amber's life. Now she is in a position to help her pack, the human and go against her inner feelings for the sake of all around her. Can she? Grey is the enemy, isn't he? How can an enemy have such a pull on both parts of her human and wolf side?

Grey also has to come to terms with his feelings. He is the son of the of the Alpha and soon to lead. How can he have feelings for a rival pack mate? With the turmoil between the packs and internally the last thing he needs is distraction. Maggie is that.

Read this exciting, touching part four and then wait with me for the next installment.

I was provided an ARC from the author for an honest review.

The Pray pack are getting ready for the war that's coming to them from the Big Sky pack that West had warned them was coming.
During this Maggie and West try to work together to figure another way out of it but all the working out they are doing is with each other's body. They are enemies working together to stop the war and they are true mates. What a combo.
They have to find a way to be together and stop the war before it is too late.

It was a good short book but was a very good book to read.

Another reason to love this author!! Once again Chloe Cole tells a story that has you wanting to find out what happens next and fall in love with her characters. Greyson has returned to his pack after being away to try and get his father step down as alpha and change the way the pack thinks. Maggie is tough gal in her pack who isn't sure she's happy with all the changes but loves her family. When they meet sparks fly and they can't stay away from each other. I love this series and totally recommend it.

I was given a free copy for an honest review. I loved Grey, he was so hot. the only problem I had with him was he wasn't honest with the 2 women in his life. Maggie was great, she was strong yet sensitive and didn't take carp off of anybody. I felt bad for willa because of the way Grey kind of misled her. He should have been more clear about their relationship. Overall it was a Great book, it sucked me in. Definitely recommend this short little story!!!!

It’s a story of right and wrong while doing your duty, with a big helping of love. Love between Greyson and Maggie, and love for their pack. You will be drawn into pack politics and fighting the old ways while seeing Greyson fight for a better way to live. During the course of this watch out for hot sex scenes that complicate matters as Greyson and Maggie try to work out their feelings for each other.

I didn't not enjoy the book. The overall story, the way it ties in with the dragon shifters is smart and enjoyable. But every book was just too predictable and safe for my liking. I would have probably given it four stars but for this fact. That's not to say I wouldn't recommend them. It's a good story, just a bit basic for my taste.

Kindle Unlimited Wolf Shifter Read.

Book four in a series of standalone books. 3 1/2 star read for me. He is the future Alpha of another pack. She doesn't know if she should trust him. There attraction is strong but they shouldn't want each other...their packs are at war.

Wow his father was super crazy to do that to his pack. He sure made a mess of his relationships and almost cost him his mate.
