When I picked up this book, I was just curious to see what an AI generated book would read like. I was wondering if the content would be a compilation what’s available freely on the internet or would there be any real unique substance. I would say I am quite pleasantly surprised, this book though AI-generated and human edited has some quite unique ideas and steps to help the human reader.
This book is aimed at everyone that faces problems in life, work, school, etc. Aimed at helping readers build critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities, Problem-Solving presents 100 techniques to find real solutions. Starting off with a section on introduction, “every strong structure starts with a solid foundation, and problem-solving is no different,” writes Voss the AI author of this book. Divided into 10 sections the book builds skills right from foundations to advanced problem-solving techniques to include 100 chapters. Each chapter describes a method of problem-solving and illustrates it with a clarifying image. The writing style is crisp, concise, and direct, which makes it easy to go to the sections that are of immediate interest.
I would venture to say that this book will not a one read for anyone, it is more like a reference work that can be returned to while facing complex or simple problems with no solution in sight. I have used some of these methods to overcome my own challenges and in the process developed a fresh perspective of how to approach the issues facing me. The book covers an array of different techniques, tools, and methods including but not limited to logical analysis, quantitative and qualitative work, harnessing emotional quotient, etc. Each chapter also has a set of exercises to practice, sharpen skills, and get out of the human thinking blocks.
Even though this book is AI-generated or AI-written it is not dry and mechanical, rather insightful and clear and almost relatable. I bet the human editors have done a great job in fine tuning the text and making it more personable. It is a perfect accessory for students, professionals, entrepreneurs, or anyone who wants to learn new methods and improve problem solving skills.
