It’s so bad but addicting. I’m too far to stop now… I read through Ch 615 and waiting for the rest to come out on GoodNovel 🤷🏻‍♀️ So many typos, errors, misspelling… it looks like they just typed and didn’t even proof read it themselves let alone have someone else proof read it. And the chapters are like 4 pages long and unnecessary half of the time. Anyway, the smut is amazing 🤭

I started this book months ago on Good Novel and although it’s a train wreck and poorly written, I can’t get enough of it. Every morning I’m up reading two chapters 🤣🤣. I’m definitely hooked and can’t wait for it to end. Currently on chapter 654 🤣🤣.

where’s the rest

Book was a good read but it stops abruptly. Not finding another book either. I hate when I don’t get to finish a good book especially one I paid for.

What a waste of time, 608 chapters in and the FMC is still weak! This book is loaded with miscommunication especially from MMC side. He is inconsiderate and drops the FMC like hot potato when he feels like it with no explanation and just expect that she make out with him when he eventually rocks up! And guess what? She can’t resist making out with him even when he treats her poorly. Weak FMC and this book does not seem to have an ending if we are at 608 chapters and not much has changed with the FMC!

Sadly, I really got sucked into this one. Be cautious when a story starts on Facebook and redirects you to another app — it’s often a red flag. This novel felt AI-generated, filled with repetitive content and numerous mistakes.

Each chapter requires payment to unlock, and apparently, the story stretches to 685 chapters?! I’m embarrassed to admit I paid for credits, but I finally waved the white flag rather than waste more time and money. Definitely not worth it.

The story itself was okay. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger-style question/situation — clearly designed to hook you into reading the next one. That tactic works for a while.

Overall, though, the heroine feels like a punching bag for everyone in her life, enduring one unforgivable act after another. The hero is so caught up in his own ego and cluelessness that he fails to notice anything going on around him.

I’m sharing this in hopes it helps others avoid falling into the same trap I did.

This book, I found on one of those pay per chapter sites and found it on Kindle. I enjoyed it, but I was a bit upset that it’s not finished.. I’m hoping the author brings out a book 2 with the rest of the chapters. But was an interesting read, nothing to in depth, but a nice cozy read.

Reads like it was written by a child

I'm not usually a very critical reader. Most of the time I'm too lost in the story to worry about plot holes, poor character development, etc. But this book is filled with spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors, and reads like it was written by a child. I felt like the story itself had potential, but I'm not sure how it made it to publishing, because it doesn't seem like it passed through the hands of an editor or a proofreader.

Damn TikTok book that sucked me in. I read it, I finished it, it was way too long and I want credit for the 700+ chapters I read. That’s all.

Good storyline but confusing. Spoilers ! Sorry not sorry!

This book has a good storyline but has spelling/grammar errors... also the author messed up on some parts when she explains things for example there was a part where Judy was in horrible pain bc her ex was having "adult activities" with his new fiance... and then toward the end of the book judy stated thank goodness they never had sex so I didn't feel that pain... amd I was like wait didn't that happen already.. also a lot of these character are very "mean girl mean" and just seems over the top... just like when the Landry cousin is interested in Judy he says "I'm not like ur ex I would never hurt u" 30 seconds later he slaps her across the face like wtf.. and why isn't Gavin asking about her dad who's in prison? Would have liked to have "met" Judy's dad before he all of a sudden got taken away to prison.. so... like I said. Good story line but confusing... not worth the $10 I spent but I still want to finish this story so hopefully there is more to add

Listen, I could read it, and I did finish it! But it was poorly written. The funniest part I remember is her living in Ethan’s house, her mother being faced with being (basically) a slave for the family. Gavin is trying to get she and her mother out of this situation and she says she CANNOT tell Gavin her families financial situation. She’s too ashamed to tell him what’s going on… but the second time she met the guy, she went to his office in lingerie hidden under a trench coat and flat out told the guy her father was in prison and she needed the money to get him out. We are supposed to believe not only HE forgot that, (as brilliant and powerful and all-knowing as he is supposed to be… he has minions that can supposedly found out ANYTHING ABOUT ANYONE within minutes) but she forgot she did that, too? This is just one of MANY discrepancies that make absolutely no sense.

Irene is flat out told by Ethan’s family that there was a relationship between Judy and Ethan, and she is still confused? Over and over, throughout this book, nothing makes sense for any logical person. Gavin treats her like absolute DOGSHIT at times, considering her a slut, but he’s in love with her? Same with with Ethan. She was a VIRGIN when this story started, and he kept telling her, “all you’re good for is spreading your legs!” It’s just absurd.

Oh, and the many, many times we hear, “I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding”. This book sounds like it was written by a teenager, at best. Was it?

Then there’s the weirdness that these are WOLVES AND LYCANS, yet you never hear ANYTHING about them actually being wolves and Lycans. It’s just thrown in there, I guess, because it’s appealing to people who read these stories.

Oh, and I cannot even begin to describe the illiteracy. Being nice, it’s poor. Misspelling, lack of punctuation, on and on, like it was written by a child.

All of that said, listen, if you’re in it for the hot tension and love story and don’t give a shit shout details, and you don’t care about any of it making sense, it’s fine. It’s not even finished. It can keep your attention well-enough, if you ignore the constant discrepancies I mentioned. I’m just appalled it has so many five star reviews that bait people into spending actual money on this. I find it sort of shameful, even more so because it ended so abruptly, and I highly doubt there will be any finality. I think the only reason this book has gained any traction at ALL, is from the shitty bait they put on Facebook. My advice is, do NOT spend your money. Find it for free.

I'm unfortunately on chapter 342; however, this book would be infinitely shorter with even the smallest amount of communication. No one knows how to communicate, and the women seem to be written to be incredibly stupid. It's not a "girls girl" book where the women band together. Instead, they are pitted against each other half the time, and they all seem to be boy-obsessed. The MFC comes across as very Mary Sue. She finds herself winning all these fights that she shouldn't win because of her "size", which is depicted incredibly small compared to everyone else and is constantly "using it" to her advantage. But then she's incapable of having a conversation with legit anyone. She's getting blackmailed but then keeps silent and gets pushed into not telling another victim to her ex about his behaviour... She's being accused of all these things but stays silent... She's mad at her not partner and just has sex instead of speaking to him about their issues. It makes no sense, and it's incredibly grating. Especially since it's legit EVERYONE in this damn book.

It also reads like it was written by AI. Plus, there is a lot of repetition/ not following its previous points and acting like things are brand new to occur. I've liked Caroline Above's work before, but I'm starting to wonder if she's using AI to pump out long stories to squeeze the most money out of people. Cause this is ongoing and currently in the 600s, and from what i can gather from jumping forward, it does NOT get any better and legit no end in sight.

When I first started reading Seducing My Ex’s Father In Law, I honestly did not expect much. The title sounded dramatic and maybe a little over the top. After a few chapters, I realized it was not just about revenge or forbidden desire. It is a story about guilt, restraint, and how love and pain can exist in the same breath.
The author surprised me with the depth of emotion in every scene. She never rushes the story or relies on loud emotions. Instead, she builds quiet tension through the smallest details. A glance across a table, a pause before speaking, or the way silence fills the air can feel more powerful than words. In Chapter 12, when the heroine meets him again in a quiet bar, nothing big happens, yet that stillness says everything.
The pacing is graceful and alive. Some chapters burn with intensity, while others slow down to let readers breathe. This rhythm keeps the novel read engaging and full of emotion.
What I admire most is the author’s compassion for her characters. She allows them to make mistakes and to seek forgiveness without judgment. By Chapter 71, I felt their conflict and tenderness as if they were real people. It is rare for a web novel to feel this sincere.
Seducing My Ex’s Father In Law is a novel full of desire, guilt, and quiet beauty. It leaves you thinking about love’s complexity long after you finish reading.

I took a divergence to investigate predatory webnovels that tease free chapters on social media which lead to subscription services allowing you to then buy per chapter… costing tens to hundreds of dollars for a single novel. I get the intention. High drama and unresolved issues to keep you coming back to find out what happens next. But honestly the writing quality tends to be really poor. This one has the pulpy soap opera elements… but fails due to the lack of support for the fantasy elements and the characters lacking any sense—perhaps because it’s a paranormal reskinning of a different predatory novel. At any rate, yelling at a 19 year old for not being an adult, repeated red flag behaviors, absurd press conferences, jealousy games, allergic reactions, physical assault termed bullying, fake diseases, underage sex, never reading the rules to a competition they have spent years training for, and many other jarring incredulous moments rip you from the story. He’s a great rich business man who is worried about keeping power but somehow doesn’t know what is even happening in the pack next door. It also adds a layer of classism with multiple houses near each other, private jets, and personal chefs. One moment a character will be having a panic attack about flying and the next they parachute and land flawlessly while blindfolded. Ugh.

If you’re craving a web novel full of drama, tension, and a little forbidden romance, “Seducing My Ex's Father In Law: Ch.1-71” is a must-read. The story grabs you from the very first chapter and doesn’t let go. The characters feel so real, and the twists keep you guessing—every encounter is charged with suspense and surprises. It’s the kind of novel where you find yourself reading just one more chapter… and suddenly, it’s 2 AM!
The romance is bold and intriguing, but it’s not just about love—there’s clever plotting, unexpected alliances, and moments that make you gasp out loud. It’s a perfect mix for anyone who enjoys a novel full of drama and heart-pounding tension. I especially loved how each chapter builds on the last, making the story addictive and impossible to put down.
I read this story on GoodNovel, a great platform that recommended other books in the same genre that really hit the spot. I loved it! You can also novel read this story on GoodNovel, which makes it easy to keep up with all 71 chapters.

Good Story Line, but beware!!!

Came upon this story on FB, immediately intrigued. Searches until I found the story on Amazon. Great!!! Paid $10 for a story that is 1. Incomplete, and 2. Riddled with grammatical errors, missing words, tense and pronoun errors. It was clear this was not proof read, or edited.
Another problem is, Why is it soooooo long???? AND not complete!!! 71 chapters ?!? And we haven’t exposed liars, received vindication for our female lead, no resolutions have been made.
The story line is good, except the challenges, assumptions, miscommunications, and disrespect our FMC has to endure, again with very little resolution, AND we have another 80 chapters to go, that also seems like there is no resolution at the end of that, meaning we (the readers) get no HAE, after 2 BOOKS!! This could have been multiple books with multiple story lines, ie. book 1 our FMC, book 2 a different character’s story, book 3 etc.
I’m locked in because I am invested, but it is very slow moving.

I came across this novel full of drama and unexpected twists on GoodNovel, and it did not disappoint (if you are not a very good critic I mean lol)!

Judy's journey from heartbreak to revenge is both intense and captivating. After her fated mate betrays her in front of the pack, she decides to take matters into her own hands by seducing his father-in-law, Gavin Landry. The power dynamics and emotional tension between Judy and Gavin kept me hooked throughout the story.

The world-building is rich, and the characters are well-developed. While the premise might seem unconventional, the author handles it with depth and nuance, making it an engaging read.

If you're looking for a story that's full of passion, power, and unexpected turns, this novel is worth checking out. It's available to read for free on GoodNovel, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

BON COMMENT DIRE !

very unpolished, but an ok read…

It’s obviously mindless drivel that one might read for sh’s and gigs. Fair. However the grammatical errors and consistent plot really throw the reader out of the story line. Whoever the editor is of this novel did the writer a grave injustice. The story could honestly be not bad.. if edited properly. If the writer reads this, feel free to contact me for editing.. at this point I’d do it for free just to put my ocd at ease.

The storyline could use help but the premise is honestly not bad. Like I said… it’s unpolished… but if you can get past the issues, it’s a decent read.

DNF - I stoped at ch. 185

It’s too much for me. Especially since the book has over 670 chapters… I cannot take that much drama and suffering.

Her mate rejects her… she is being blackmailed.. her father goes to prison, her mom gets depressed.. new job, seeing the OW daily… getting kidnaped..getting framed for poisoning her charge.. getting kicked out of the house.. being treated as a slave… and on top of that… ANOTHER WOMAN comes into the mix??

No, I QUIT!!

If you were brave enough to push through.. let me know how it ends! I hope it’s worth it!! 🫶

It was honestly frustrating how little spice was in this book after reading all of the ads on social media for it. I lost track of how many typos this book had. Did no one proofread or edit this book? Could they not come up with a separate name for Irene’s cousin? The name Walter was already in the book as a classmate, which by the way, was mistyped as Water at first mention. I noticed my eyes starting to roll about the 4th time I read, “she let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding” I will not be finishing this series.

It was just OK

There are several typos which made reading difficult. Knowing the language barrier I over looked it even though I feel like I paid $11 for a poorly edited book. Then the story line was drawn out and at the end it just abruptly ended. Like the book wasn't even at a point to really end. I normally enjoy books like this but the ending is so bad it instantly put me in a bad mood.

Ok ok I ended up buying the first two books because I oddly wanted to read this even though it had a lot of grammar issues and just ends in each book. I am patiently waiting for book 3 in kindle to come out with more chapters. I tried it on another reading app but cannot only read a few chapters a day. I am a read a book in a day type of girl! Over all story is good and makes you to want to read more about the characters!

It is a little grammatically unsound at times, but overall that does not hinder the reading experience (usually). Also can be a little cringy, but again I think a lot of romances that are kind of heavy handed are. I am on the other hand impressed it doesn't go straight to sex and attempts to build up the world and characters around it, though I hope to see more lore maybe on the wolf side of things in future chapters!

The book contradicts its self, it describes a place then further on it describes the same place completely different, there is a lot of spelling mistakes and errors but the backing story is actually good- despite the mistakes and errors I was hooked.. very disappointed it just suddenly stopped on a cliff hanger. I hope the story continues and more chapters come out!

It has a good story line that ropes you in. I couldn't put it down. I read it in one day. However, it does have a few inconsistencies. The most disappointing part is it ends in finished.

What gumpth!

Sure, the purpose of these novels is to be drawn out but this was an exercise in how to lose track of your threads (don't be so painstaking on clothes description if you are going to forget/change your mind) and write the ridiculous.
