I am sure that you might have read or documented numerous incidents about the ‘dream girl’ but not many about ‘The Dreamer’. This story is about one such dreamer whose ‘love’ is a dream.

Teenage is a phase of life when we crossover numerous hurdles either physically or mentally. Understanding the behavioral changes at this age is a mammoth task for girls and boys alike. Though it is considered self-evident for the girl’s gang but only a fraction of the handful of boys admit it. This calls courage and this story is one such call of courage.

The author admits it to be his own story and straightaway puts across his viewpoint in relation to the course of events attended in the story. This was a big risk and he mitigated it well by pulling off the story well on the track. He remained focused to the plot till the end without adding any exaggerations.

Not many boys or authors bring out the emotional vulnerability in their masculine character but we all know they are vulnerable at the heart’s depth. The author dares to account this aspect and accept it as his behavior. No, he is not weak at all, neither emotionally nor physically; he is simply caring, loving, considerate and compassionate for his lady love! Should being a sensitive man make him weak or introvert? I say – ‘No’ and not at all.

Then what is hindering him on his path? What is stopping him from admitting his love to her? Why is she a dream to him? Have you started dreaming yourself? Please don’t do. :). The author i.e. the dreamer has done this part and you just need to share his dream by grabbing a copy and doing your bit.

A story of deception which will make you believe in dreams and motivates you to reach out to your true dreams.

A goal in mind doesn’t let you sleep nor eat nor think, it just makes you more passionate and determined to achieve it. All true, but a goal in the wrong direction and a goal that is not passion but obsession can ruin your life too. This is exactly what happened with Vivek, the persistent, incessant and determined lover. Things were perfect before he accidentally got caught up into the wary of one-sided love. He was the perfect son with ambitions of becoming a scientist, a school topper with expectations of all riding on his shoulders. And then the most beautiful but a dreadful moment arrived when he started chasing her like a maniac. In this process he gave up his studies, he lost his rank, he started regularly bunking classes, he fell into the arms of depression. He was not even able to get into the reputed colleges of India which was his dream from the start. But the atrocious happenings leading to a grievous journey with no sign of the destination was not the fault of his obsession alone. His best friend contributed the maximum to the erratic events of Vivek’s ‘Princess’ to him sometimes being too friendly, sometimes a stranger and once his girlfriend too. The final part of the show displays the betrayal and stabbing that his friend showcases to not let Vivek get close to Shruti. And even after a sweet long period of 6yrs she still remained blind towards the love that he had for her.

***I got this book from the author, in exchange for honest review***
I really like the cover of the book. The cover is quite attractive.
This is a heart touching story. Vivek’s love for Shruti completely makes you fall in love.
Teenage is the age, when we do anything , without even thinking of it,what will be the outcome.
No one can love a girl just like Vivek.

Urge of Love is such a kind of thing that no one in the world can defeat; either they are human or other super natural powers. Love appears in many forms, every person in today’s generation is strongly affected by his or her love story.

Great people said that love is like heaven, but hurts like hell, I agree with this thought because for some lucky people love is like heaven, they start to get everything in life, but for some it is like hell, they start to lose everything in their life whatever they had or even their dreams although they are capable of getting their dreams.Destiny plays the game.

“Is zindagi se kabhi socha na tha ki ye shayar bana jayegi,
Jeene ka dikhawa karte karte pal pal mout mujhe aayegi
Dil to karta he loota du khud ko uski khushiyon ke naam par
Aye khuda use mere dil ki haalat naa jaane kab samajh aayegi...”

The Dreamer’ tells a story of this kind of unpredictable love that couldn’t do anything just because of the complexity of the situation. The climax was as expected and beautifully written,The author has done a good job.I would recommend this book to all true lovers.I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

The book took me back to my own school and college days and made me remember all the boys who were dreaming about some girl or the other. The story is a realistic account of how boys work as a team while one of them chases a girl. It shows how (puppy) love can make or break one's life. I really liked the climax of the story which reveals that things are not always as we see them. Read full review at Natasha'z Words
