While this book on the most part is a shallow exploration of some of the highlights of Los Angeles, the liberal use of the comic sans typeface was a significant detraction from my ability to enjoy it. Still it is fairly harmless and would perhaps make a suitable gift for visiting children.

This children's book parody of Good Night Moon spans a day spent at LA's most famous attractions. While comprehensive, its agenda is impossible for an LA child to accomplish in a single day, so it should not be used as a substitute for a Lonely Planet guide.

the most shamefully bad of all children’s books are these good night world series of books, which i’m fairly certain are written by a robot. like i actually think they are written by AI. i’ve fantasized many times about a better board book that would do justice to the wonders of the city of los angeles.
