Last year, Gemma Aldwyn roped her four best friends into making a New Year's resolution—to make the first move on potential happily-ever-after guys and break their run of being dateless for five New Year's Eves in a row. With time fast running out, Gemma is yet to find a man to kiss when the clock strikes twelve on January first. Problem is, she only wants the handsome and wealthy Greg Carmichael—Mr. Commitment-Phobic.
Greg Carmichael isn't against commitment—as long as it doesn't involve him. With beautiful women vying for his attention during his stay at one of his family's luxury resorts, Greg isn't short of female admirers. But it's his friend, Gemma Aldwyn, that he finds himself lusting after. Unfortunately, Gemma isn't into casual relationships, so sleeping with her was out of the question.
When Gemma's safety and privacy is unexpectedly threatened, she accepts the offer to hide out in the secluded Carmichael resort where Greg is staying. With this chance to get closer to Greg, can Gemma find the courage to expose her heart to great hurt? And can Greg give up his bachelor lifestyle to embrace the true gem waiting for him—before he loses her altogether?
*****
At Last is a steamy and sexy novel that can be read as a stand-alone. But to fully enjoy the Time for Love series, the author recommends reading them in order.
Book 1: Forever (Rebecca Andrews and Zach Carmichael) Book 2: Finally (Sarah Daley and Jeff Carmichael) Book 3: Again (Amanda Payne and Connor Reid) Book 4: Always (Brenna Ward and Ash Payne) Book 5: At Last (Gemma Aldwyn and Greg Carmichael)
(These books are for adults only. They contain hot sexual content.)
Miranda P. Charles writes swoonworthy, stirring, and steamy contemporary romance novels with oh-so-sweet heroes and strong heroines.
She prefers to spend her time in front of her laptop, putting into words the love stories that play in her head. Don't get her started with reading a great book, though, because she tends to not put it down until she gets to the last page even if she loses sleep.
She does have a life outside of books. Mostly, that consists of bonding with family and friends or going on romantic trips with her awesome husband.
She lives in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia.
Gemma and Greg are made for each other, he just doesn’t know it yet. When Jim and her friends make a pledge to find someone to love within the next year, J Gemma is left standing. Love the beginning of the book. Sadly, the end became quite predictable.
When the right one comes along you can through your original ideas about women out the window. That’s the problem Greg rums into when he meets Gemma. She doesn’t go for playboy types but she’s definitely as the hots for Greg. Great sex and great times makes this a hot romantic book, so enjoy
I have memories of fondness for this series but what a low to end on. A guy who is so afraid of commitment he borderline jumps at the word being used to describe others finds ✨the one✨ and suddenly all cured. I prefer my fantasy novels with dragons.
This last book features a nice love story, complete with friends to lovers, a reformed playboy, and at least one crazy stalker. Lovely wrap up of series.
"At Last"; (Time for Love #5) we come to the end of the series and finally Gemma's journey to love, seems only fitting she is last since she was the instigator of the original resolution. The resolution between her and her four other best girlfriends to make time for life n their life's and look for the real thing; but Gemma has not even attempted she still carries with her the fear of being hurt like she was over five years ago , she guards her heart tightly. Since Gemma has not made a move her Bff's now have set a challenge in front of her she must now find someone to kiss at the very lead on New Years Eve or they will not be kissing their men. So Gemma agrees but she is faced with a few obstacles the first Neil she is a the Carmichaels famous Sanctuary in serenade bay to celebrate Jeff and Sarah's engament and their are only few single men attending , the to add to the complication , she really is only intrested in Gregg Carmichael but Gregg has no intrest in her, handsome eligible playboy with a reputation for being commitment phobic , though that little matter may deter. Gemma it has no deterred the paparazzi from linking them together as a couple since Zach and Rebecca's wedding. This association has brought out all the nuts a stalker claiming to be a fan, then someone else trying to ruin Gemma's business and livelihood which has elicited a response of security and protection from the Carmichaels , especially Gregg. Mr commitment phoebe has an attraction to Gemma that he is having a hard time ignoring, he knows he should , there are plenty of women vying for his attention, but he is jus not intrested and then to add to Gregg's confusion he finds himself getting more protective of Gemma with all these threats. The quest to find someone to kiss becomes a bit of public knowledge and now she has Ben and Lucas via for the chance to kiss her on New Years eve and Gregg throws his hat in the ring and finds himself being warned off by his brothers , because of his reputation with women, they do not want to see Gemma hurt. Lucas flirting with Gemma, bothers Gregg but his flirting and something he say to her about rather having tried than regretting not trying resonates in Gemma, she decides to take that leap , given the first chance she gets she kisses Gregg and sets her journey to,love in motion !
These two face more obstacles and mysterys to solve but none threaten them more than Gregg's own indesicion. So I will leave you at that and to say wonderful conclusion to this series . Miranda though will be picking up with Lucas's story in her next series, can not wait. As always Ms Charles pens a lovely attention grabbing story filled with characters that you just can not get enough of and I am sorry to leave behind , but hopeful of some cameos in Lucas's story.

You know, I love an honorable man. I admire how he's intent on making good on his word even if it means denying what his heart wants. However, I admire him more when he wakes up and realizes he can keep his promise while pursuing his own happiness.
Greg is a great example of someone who has a promise to keep but a heart to follow. While he doesn't push Gemma away, he does shun the idea of a committed relationship with her. Why? A promise he made after losing his parents and grandfather. It's okay to sigh, lol. I totally did!
There is a lot to admire about Greg in regards to his non-committed-but-it-really-is-a-committed relationship with Gemma. His attraction to her pushes him to win her New Year's kiss. His concern prompts him to protect her. The way his heart aches for her when she loses her studio compels him to find her another location for her studio. Sometime during all of this, he realized that he could have her without breaking his promise. It just took all of this to happen for him to come to that conclusion.
I have to give Gemma a huge round of applause. For all the push and shove between her and Greg, she hung in there. It was like a part of her heart knew they were supposed to happen even if her head doubted it. Everything for Gemma always came back to Greg.
I've heard people say that actions speak louder than words. In this story, that is very true. Despite his words, Greg showed Gemma how much he loved and cared for her, how much he wanted and needed her, how much he lived for her. Gemma was no different. While her love for Greg was more obvious, she did her best to convey her heart's message to him without pushing him away so that he could see he didn't have to break his word to have a relationship with her.
At Last is the last book of this series, and it's hard to believe that this series is ending. Truthfully, I wish it wasn't. The stories were well-written, the characters well-developed, enticing combinations of sweetness and heat that left me satisfied and happy at the end of each one. I can't wait to read the spinoff series Ms. Charles has in the works about some of the secondary characters I met. Until then, thank you for the incredible moments, memorable characters, and happy endings from this series.

GREAT SERIES!!! This book is the last and I must say I will miss this group of friends.
After making a pact last year with her four friends to all have a date for New Year's Eve, Gemma is the only one without. Not only have her friends found dates, they also all found their Mr. Right's this past year. Two of the girls are involved with Carmichael brothers. Because of that, Gemma has been linked in the tabloids to the third brother Greg or Mr. Commitment-Phobic having been seen with him at different functions. As they celebrate the engagement of two of the couples over the holidays at a Carmichael resort, the search is on for the man to kiss. Once the single men hear about Gemma and the New Year's kiss they all try to win her over, but she only has eyes for one. Greg does not want a relationship, but can't seem to stop thinking about Gemma. He knows Gemma is looking for more than casual and will not cross that line. As her privacy and safety are being threatened from being linked to him he feels responsible and helps her with it. Will Gemma consider causal with Greg and risk her heart? Will Greg win her New Year's Eve Kiss?
Miranda has written a beautiful story about family, friends and happily-ever-after with a lots of spice and suspense. Don't miss this series!!!
At last Emma made a new year’s resolution with her best friends but it wasn’t working for her. She was the only one who had no husband or boyfriend to kiss on New Year’s party. Attracted by Greg (Mr. Commitment Phobic) she decided to leave behind her insecurities, no be scare of the if’s and give herself a chance to become involved in a fling. But, Mr. is dealing with guilt because of the promise he made to his dead mother to change his life of a player without any consideration for the women he left behind. He is not ready for commitment and Emma can’t wait forever. The world around conspires to make harder the situation and they have to deal with it. I think that Emma was in in love with Greg from the first moment because of him she made a complete change of her mind and knowing how Emma thought she had to be in love with him to accept the fling. Greg was scare. He was assessing his attraction for Emma because of his past with women. He was stuck and can’t see true love. I enjoyed how the author worked Emma’s and Greg’s feelings. I have seen this around in real life many times and it’s hard to stand for the involved. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was pleased with it. I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review
Gemma is the last single one of the group and as the one who came up with the New Years resolution it's time she got her forever guy, or at least a possible boyfriend tokiss a midnight this New Year. But the guy she wants has the nickname Mr. Commitment-Phobe. Can she find a way to change his mind or will she be opening her heart up to be broken?
Greg enjoys women, but he's always up front with them that it's only a fling. When he starts having dreams about Gemma he knows he can't do anything because she isn't a fling type of girl. When she offers him what he wants will it lead to more of will the Mr. Commitment-Phobe live up to his name and ruin his chance at more?
Gemma knows heartbreak from her past relationship, she wants something more but is afraid to go after it.
Greg is trying to do the right thing by telling women up front what he wants, but it's keeping him closed off to real relationships.
This is the last story in this series, and it's my favorite of them all. I enjoyed seeing the last of these characters get their Happily ever after. Next up will be a new series starting with the current Mr. F*ck King Lucas and I can't wait to see his fall!
In At Last we have the story of the last girl of the group Gemma Aldwyn. After the New Year's resolution they made last year, she is the only one who hasn't found her potential happily-ever-after guy yet. Time is running out on her but she has one problem the one she wants is Mr. Commitment-Phobic.
Mr. Commitment-Phobic also known as Greg Carmichael loves the ladies and has no problem with having them but only for a short fling. But he has one problem he is lusting after Gemma but she only wants a commitment guy and doesn't go for casual relationships, so he needs to stay away from her but this is not an easy task.
But what happens if she proposes Greg for a short fling, can either of them handle this? And how will his female admirers react on this because not all of them are happy about this and will do all to destroy this.
And like the song of Etta James says has their love come along and are their lonely days over? Or will his admirers destroy this dream?
Such a wonderful end for such an amazing series!!! Well written with an interesting plot, this book is as hot as it is sweet!!! "At last" picks up where the story stopped in the last book but through Gemma's eyes! I loved every minute of it! I was so addicted that i finished it in only a few hours!!! Gemma and Greg's story will make you smile a lot and swoon, you won't want it to end! A wonderful surprise also awaits you in the epilogue, and it makes this book bitter sweet!! You finally realize that it will be the last story of the five friends, and thanks to Miranda P. Charles' s talent you lived it all... Which makes the end feel like a real farewell!! But with a sense of completion! I Loved every book of this series and honestly can't wait for the next one! Gemma, Sarah, Rebecca, Brenna and Amanda you will be missed!!
Finally Gemma gets her story. She is the orchestrator of the pact for the best friends to find their true loves or at least be willing to make the first move by New Year's but she is the only one that doesn't have someone to kiss. The one she really wants to kiss is Jeff but he appears to be the confirmed bachelor so everyone warns her away from him. Then a fun game begins with all the single guys spending the holidays with the group at one of the Carmichael resorts which is really fun for Gemma and puts Jeff in an awkward spot. Does he really want to avoid a commitment? Or is Gemma worth fighting for?? All the fun you expect from Miranda Charles and a great way to wrap up Brenna, Rebecca, Amanda and Sarah's stories.
Most of the time you can prepare yourself for how a romance novel will play out. Especially when you know there is a HEA. While I knew to expect the HEA, I actually found myself reading every page and paragraph because I didn't want to miss the emotions the characters had and the feelings expressed within each paragraph. I smiled, I laughed, I worried and then I honestly felt happy the way the book ended. This truly is a happily every after romance. From the game of who will she kiss to the obstacle course challenge. You will be swept away by this loving tale of what a couple can go through when one is afraid of commitment.
Greg was never going to fall in love and his latest relationships have only lasted a month before he moved on. But lately, he can’t get Gemma out of his mind.
Gemma knew Greg was only looking for a good time. But she thought he felt the connection too. Until he calls off them having fun n while they were both at his Grandmother resort. But when she leaves early to be away from him, Greg finds she’s all he can think about and doesn’t entertain anyone else.
Greg and Gemma get their HEA in this stand-alone book in a series.
For the life of me I couldn't get invested in this book... It WASN'T exciting, steamy, dramatic, have any angst, NOTHING! I felt no emotion to the characters or to the storyline... So why did I finish this book?? I'm the type of person that needs closure, so if I start a book I'm more than likely going to finish it unless it's absolutely terrible...
This was my first book by this author and I wasn't impressed... I'm glad I didn't read the other books in this series...
At freaking LAST!!!! Gemma and Greg. I have been waiting on these two since the cruise. OMG!! Talk about hot and made for each other. And of course there is more than plenty of obstacles in the way, no pun intended, it includes an actual obstacle course. Leave it to Greg to miss an important day and not even have a clue what to do about it. Love love loved it.
Bernna and Greg the last of the great family to marry. Could Greg Be committed for life Bernna not being sure because of his famous comment to stay single. But the smile and great friendship ended in marriage. All brothers committed to best friends all ends well.
Loved every book in this series. Read all five in two nights because I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. If you are looking for a well-written love story, this series is five of the.
