The Crew by Marc Wilder is hands down one of the most entertaining memoirs I’ve ever read. From the very first page, I was completely hooked. Marc doesn’t just tell stories, he throws you into the chaos, the laughter, and the madness of life aboard the world’s most luxurious yachts.

His storytelling is raw, brutally honest, and absolutely hilarious. One minute you’re laughing at the absurdity of a drunken billionaire’s request, and the next you’re shaking your head at the sheer insanity of what these crews endure to keep everything looking “perfect.” The behind-the-scenes reality is far from glamorous but it’s fascinating, addictive, and impossible to put down.

Wilder’s voice is sharp, witty, and full of that cheeky British humor that makes every chapter a blast. The anecdotes about celebrity guests, wild parties, and off-the-rails adventures across the Mediterranean and Caribbean are pure gold. It’s like Kitchen Confidential meets Below Deck but with way more danger, heart, and chaos.

If you’ve ever wondered what really happens on those shiny superyachts, this book spills it all uncensored and unapologetic. A total must read for anyone who loves travel memoirs, dark humor, or just a damn good story told by someone who’s truly lived it.
