I thought that the book was really great. It answered all the questions about other books in the series, it was full of action and there was never a dull moment. I feel like the ending of the book was a little interesting but it was still beautiful.
*SPOILERS*
The book continued from the 5th book in a great way. A bunch of the guards teamed up with Princess Maisy to save her kingdom. On their way back they find a village where Isla lives and tell her to come with them to save the kingdom and also so she can see her grandfather again. But, when they get to where they can see Lantern Lane, General Foust finds them and convinces the guards that Princess Maisy is committing treason. They capture every one except for Isla and Letty. Isla decides to sacrifice herself for Letty to save the kingdom. Letty then joins up with Peter and Jocelyn to get proof of the Kings treason. While Letty is grabbing the papers, the King comes in and Letty runs to a door that goes to a balcony. She sees a bunch of people in the yard and finds Peter there. She throws the letters to him before she gets taken by Captain Foust. All of the citizens of Lantern Lane use the evidence to throw the King off of the throne. Princess Maisy takes the throne and is crowned queen of Trielle. She sends the KIng and Captain Foust to the same prison that the mapmaker and his son were in. They live happily ever after and celebrate Queen Maisy's birthday and Letty's success on saving Lantern Lane.

overall this series is good, but I feel that it dragged out a bit too long.

I wanted to run a marathon.
You couldn't do anything to make that ending any better [Except two people getting married, but that's it]
