Well, It is official. Caitlyn cannot write a single bad book. hands down another five star, left me speechless, on the edge of my seat begging for book four. Truly, this book was phenomenal. There are so many things I wish I could spill in this review but I really need every single person to stop what they are doing and read it.

Flat Out was absolutely the *moment* for Aurélie to shine! I loved getting to watch her walk through Callum’s healing, her own battles with the FIA safety regulations, continuing to flourish her friendship with Kimi, Marco, and Ivy, and yet still showing up for Callum in every sense of the world. This part of their story really shined on Aurélie and i loved getting to dive deep into her feminism and how secure she truly is as a character. Despite what life has thrown at her, she continues to show up in the best ways and prove that nothing will stop her from making f1 safe for all drivers.

Callum fruckin’ Fraser. the words to find to say about this man. I’m truly not sure where to even start. this love this man shows to Aurélie daily, is so admirable. No matter what she needs, he is there to help with it. But I think some of my very parts of this story, was watching them grow together as a couple even though the hard moments... and watching them EXPLODE with their sexual chemistry.. truly off the charts. The mouth on that man, the BDSM exploration, the peach play, the kinks that these two really lean into... unbelievable.

The way Caitlyn writes a story, makes you feel like you’re truly reading a movie script. This is easily the most mature writing, I have read, while also being extremely filthy. The way she can describe a scene, explain feelings, TALK ABOUT F1 LIKE SHE LIVES IT.. I loved that so much.

She does a really great job of truly including the logistics of F1 throughout this book, and I really loved getting to see not just Cal and Auri’s relationship bloom but also seeing a few races spread out. I loved that Caitlyn really transformed this series from a lot of races and only seeing them solely together during race weeks - to getting to see them together throughout the in-betweens. It was like really getting to see the inside of their relationship fully unfold now. This makes me even more excited for Red Flagged.

This book really starts to dive deep into Auri’s fertility struggles, and her fears for the future. As well as Callum’s. Overall , this story is true longing, yearning, adoration, and admiration! I cannot ever get enough.

and let’s talk about that cliffy.... I’M READY TO BE LIGHTS OUT ON RED FLAGGED.

5🌟, 5 🌶️

Flat Out is full-throttle perfection — a five-star ride that left me breathless and begging for more!

This was Aurélie's moment to shine, and I loved watching her fight for FIA safety reforms, support Callum's healing, and deepen her bonds with Ivy, Kimi, and Marco. She is fierce, grounded, and unstoppable - nothing keeps her from showing up for the people she loves.

And Callum Fraser - this man is pure devotion. His love for Aurélie pours off the page, whether he's caring for her, letting her care for him, or setting the pages on fire with their blistering chemistry. Their growth as a couple felt so real - tender, emotional, and yes, unbelievably hot (the BDSM scenes and penthouse scenes will haunt me forever).

The emotional climax of this book wrecked me — I was furious, heartbroken, and completely hooked. The writing is cinematic, emotional, and perfectly balanced between humor, heartbreak, and hope. The friendships shine as brightly as the romance, and the PCOS/ infertility representation was raw and beautifully done.

Caitlyn has me flat out obsessed, and I won't be slowing down until Red Flagged is in my hands.

As a huge proud romance & smut reader, I can't believe I'm saying this, but the spice level and sex scenes in this book are simply too much for my liking. I'd adored the chemistry and rivalry on the grid between Aurélie and Callum since book one, especially with all the refreshing and eye-opening Formula 1 world and races unraveling. However, what I was most afraid of for this relatively long series had occurred: the DRAG of the entire story. From the moment I learnt that there would be 5 books in this series and how it wouldn't come to an end until the finale, I wasn't so sure if it'd be the only series which would prove me wrong that it'd be possible for long series to stay captivating the whole time. Based on my previous experience, I usually couldn't go on with a series that had more than 4 books as most of the plot simply dragged on and on when it could've been wrapped up nicely within the first 3-4 books. Unfortunately, the same thing existed here and I didn't think I'd be able to continue reading the rest of this series. However, thanks to the amazing promo, at least we'd got consistent tropes and trigger warnings through and through so the readers could have a better understanding about what they'd signed up for prior to diving into the heart-gripping Speed Demons era. That being said, I'd still recommend this series to all the F1 fans or adrenaline junkies out there or someone who just wanted to explore different kinks in detail.

ARC review:

Callum and Aurelie are just delicious!! I love them so much! Aurelie continuing to lean into her bad bitch era was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻. Callum was swoon worthy as always 😍. Yaaaaasss to him loving her openly and loudly!!! 🫠 Spice was spicing 🥵. The fast pacing of this series has me in a chokehold and still continues to make me feel like I’m in a race. The need to consume the words fast and urgently was so real. And hell yes to Ivy, she’s the best hype woman. Can’t wait to see what transpires between her and Marco. 😏 Book 4 cannot come fast enough!! 😩

The way I just completely demolished this book in just over a day 🫠
Aurelie and Callum just get better and better and I don’t know how Caitlyn does it, but her writing has me so mesmerized that I just can’t seem to put the book down.
In this one it was more emotional and is starting to touch on heavier topics, but it’s so good! Like I’m having trouble coming up with words for how much I love this book.
This book is also hellllaaa spicy 😈 and when I say hella—I mean I had over 20 highlights on ONE SINGULAR CHAPTER! Hot hot hot 😮‍💨
Callum and his filthy mouth can talk dirty to me any day 🥵
I wish my girl Auri could catch a break with these men 🥴 She’s truly out here fighting the patriarchy and I hope she burns it all to the ground 🤭
Thank you Caitlyn for this ARC! 🫶🏼

I am loving every single book Caitlyn has created so far. This is no exception- in fact this has been my favourite so far.

Don’t get me wrong this was really tough to read and my heart was definitely shattered for majority of this book.
The writing in this book was so poetic and truly heart wrenching.

Ivy- A BADASS BITCH THROUGH AND THROUGH. We love you
Marco and Kimi - I am so obsessed with their friendship with Auri and love the support they show for our gal x

The was Cal and Auri burn for each other is unlike anything and the way he worships her 🥹

PLEASE BE AWARE! The content in this book surrounding infertility, pregnancy loss etc. is rough. It is completely worth it but your mental health matters so please be mindful 💗

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Spice: 4/5🌶️

The Catalog: F/M, rival F1 drivers to lovers, feminine rage, badass FMC, fighting the system, possessive & obsessive MCs, god tier level MMC

* Kink: degradation, power play, impact play (belting)
* TWs/CWs: injury detail, sexism, sexual assault, talk of miscarriage / infertility

*This is book three in the Speed Demons series. Each book is a continuation in the story of the same main characters, and as such, must be read in order

Synopsis: After the harrowing end of book two, Aurélie & Callum must navigate Callum’s injuries, the corruption in the FIA and F1 as a whole, and the people that would see them fall.

Thoughts:
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, I am ride or die with this series. Full throttle, g-force rattling my brain, sitting steady for the ride. I am obsessed with this series.

Callum remains a god-tier MMC for me; I freaking love his obsession, his particular brand of devotion for Aurélie. This book really took their k!nkiness to a whole new level, and the way the author blends physical intimacy with emotional intimacy always leaves me feeling so raw.

As always with this series, this book does end on a cliffhanger that has me frothing for the next book. I am ready for Aurélie to burn her enemies to the ground while Callum and I cheer her on!!

Lastly, this is the first book in this series that I didn’t rate 5⭐️, and the reason for that is it felt unbalanced between smut and plot in a way that I struggled with. I was so anxious to get real information on the greater plot, and the super strong desire for the plot to further, really affected my ability to enjoy the over-gratuitous sex scenes.

(I received an ARC for this book)

This book ends on a cliffhanger!

more trigger warnings are at the bottom of this review, to avoid spoilers
the dangers of racing (including an incident that causes bodily harm); high-pressure competitive environments; relationship trauma; difficult family dynamics (strained parental relationships, pressure, expectations); themes of isolation, anxiety, and feeling unseen; moments of panic, emotional spirals, and self-doubt; emotional and psychological manipulation (not between MCs); infidelity (not between MCs)

We are back IN the emotions from page one! This wasn’t a “tear me apart to put me back together” kind of romance. This book does a beautiful job of the ebb and flow of emotions. Very realistic and relatable emotions at every turn (and chicane). I’m not sure who’s in more awe of Aurélie, me or Callum. I’d arm wrestle him for her, that’s for sure! They’re taking on the world together. They’re figuring out themselves together. They’re healing together. They’re learning together. They’re growing together. Everything, together. Always. They’re raw, beautifully raw and vulnerable. We’re getting into “this hits a little too close to home” territory…But I love them so much, and I appreciate and understand their love so much. I’m glad we’re going through things together. And the unwavering love and support they have in their teammates?! I can’t get enough of that either! I am ALWAYS ready for more of this series!

Some pieces of my reviews from the first two books since they ring true here:
I knew by the fifth chapter of the first book that this series was for true F1 fans. No glitter, no glamour, no crazy over the top exaggerating. Just true words for racing fans. And the cute lists, rules, and location and circuit information was a perfect touch! Made my heart VERY happy to see! As an F1 girlie, this series has become a comfort, a big hug. The references and jokes give me the warm fuzzies. I LOVE when cliffhangers pick right up without a time jump! This one dives right in where we left Aurélie and Callum. Right into their chemistry, and their tension that was set on fire. It was even more apparent that they were all in, and IT. I am emotionally attached (and heavily attracted) to Aurélie! Sorry Callum…you’ll need to share! The way that man thinks about her, talks to her?! It’s the way she DESERVES! And their emotions?! Wow did they love LOUD! And their trust was SO beautiful! What’s the name for “watching my woman kick ass on the track” kink? Because Callum has that!!! And it is so YUM!

My Favorite Quotes:
• “You’re mine. Even bruised and broken and silent and stubborn as hell.” “Still yours.” “Still mine.”
• “I’m never not reaching for you.”
• “I stand with her. I stand by her. I stand for her. I stand because of her.”
• “If you ever doubt that you're mine again, I'll f!cking punish you."
• “You’re mine. My filthy little brat.”
• “Come for me. I want to feel you break. I want to hear how pretty you sound when you fall apart for me.”
• “You just have to stay. Let me love you while you learn."
• “Thank you for not letting me disappear.”
• “Your body isn’t broken. It’s perfect. Exactly how it was always meant to be.”

Flat Out, is the third book in a continuous connected series written by, Caitlyn P Tajon. It follows our beautiful badass Aurélie Dubouis and our Favourite Scottish man Callum Fraser.

This. Goddamm. Series. Holy. Heck. I am so consumed by Aurèlie and Callum . Caitlyn's writing in this series is everything to me. I laughed, I swooned, I was so angry and i cried, i cried so much it wasnt funny. Caitlin really had no right to break my heart like this, but she did, and I loved every second of it.
Oh so badly do i want my babies to get their HEA, the amount they've been though at this point is seriously making me so angry and the sexsism from the entire fia is so disguting, like sorry not sorry my girl aurèlie can out race you and is threating your little bity ego's.

The amount of chemisty these two have, The spice in this book was so darn hot, the penthouse scene, the scene where they go out for sushi had my jaw hanging, it was completely, Filthy, HOT and so Scrumpdillyicious i will forever had the sushi resturant chapter ingrained into my mind just like the gym scene in book two close contact. The way i got so excited at finding out what starsign callum is, it makes so much sense, as a pisces girly i ADORE capricon's. my mum who is a capricorn is my bestfriend and if i wasnt her daughter and someone her age we'd totally be friends, now i understand why i love callum so much.

The way Callum didn’t want Aurèlie to see him injured because he thought he wouldn’t be able to take care of her? had my heart hurting but also swooning at the same time? Their intimacy was written with so much vulnerability and depth, i ate it up so fast. The friendship's throughout the entire series is completely everything to me, the gird gremlins group chat had me laughing so much my family looked at me like i was completely crazy. Aurèlie's bonds with both kimi and marco were so supportive and Ivy? my girl ivy her comforting and being so supportive of Aurèlie was such a beautiful reminder of how precious female friendship is!! PROTECT THEIR FRIENDSHIP AT ALL COST

The small little gestures in this book had me swooning and blushing so hard (gimmie a man like Callum) Buying pale pink peonies, making breakfast and even making sure his FLAT felt like her's whenever she walked through the doors. oh i am such a sucker for when a mc is sick/injured and they get taken care of by either the mmc/fmc and aurèlie taking care, preping meals, flying back and forth from paris to monaco for callum while he was in recovery had my heart completely. Callum's unwavering support was so swoony. We also got to hear more about callum's mum and i hope we get more of her in the last few books!!

What i loved most was the humor was perfectly balanced between the heavier and vunrable moments so perfectly, from auriélie's "frenglish" mix ups to any time marco and kimi made appearances. but then caitlyn hit me with more raw and emotional heartbreak, the FIA team meeting, Marco and kimi defending aurièlie to Ivy and the emotional scene between Aurèlie and Ivy with the PCOS/infertility rep written so perfectly and heartbreakingly real.
And then came olong chapter's 36 and 37, they destroyed me so much, the emotional depth had me tearing up and so angry on aurèlie's behalf. I don’t think I’ll ever recover.

I seriously cant wait for red flagged, i need more of aurèlie and callum, kimi, marco and ivy. need it more than air right now.

"Somehow, loving him had become another thing I didn't know how to do in halves."

Mamma mia... this was one hell of a ride. I am honestly... speechless? Yet have so much to say.

First of all: Aurélie and Callum. I can't put into words how special these two are to me. This story was once again filled with raw love, intense devotion and absolute obsession. You can't tell me these two weren't made for each other. Even during the dark times and hard moments, they support each other so wholeheartedly (even if it sometimes takes them a bit of time).

The support of Kimi, Marco and Ivy had me tearing up at times. These three love Aurélie (and honestly, also Callum) so, so much. They would fight for her, until the end. Ivy is literally her twinflame. And as Aurélie would say "two loyal bitches straightening each other's crowns."

Aurélie is absolutely my role model (and I might be a bit in love with her). Her endurance, strength and will to fight is so admirable. Even if she's cracking under pressure, she still absolutely fights for what is right and what she deserves.

Callum is the embodiment of dream man. His loyalty to Aurélie, his love for her. The way he fights alongside her and lifts her up. He has his own struggles, and is still learning, but I know these two will always find their way.

I am gnawing at my cage once again, for book 4. I need answers. The way Flat Out ended has me on the edge of my seat with excitement and I cannot wait to see what Aurélie pulls off next. I am obsessed; this might be the best Formula 1 story I have ever read (and I used to read AO3 F1 fanfiction). It's filled with excitement, emotion, intensity, fear and so much more.

Ps. Hello, chapter 11????!! IYKYK 👀
Pps. Red Flagged can't arrive soon enough!!!

& we're back with another installment of Speed Demons.

If you're just tuning in.. this is our 3rd book in the Speed Demons series from Caitlyn P Tajon and my my is is a fiery one.

From end to end, there is passion, fighting (but for the right reasons) and off the track found family. The found family bond between these two and their friends goes deeper than the tracks they share weekend and week out.

Have you ever heard of the Japanese kintsugi? If not, this book speaks volumes to what it truly means to be kintsugi. Filling in the gaps with golden lines to make the pottery complete again. That is what Callum is for Auri and what Auri is for Callum.

As we've progressed in this series each book has only gotten better and shown the deep connection between these two. There were panty melting sex scenes, snuggling, taking care of one another when they really didn't want the world to see, and to top it off their love has only grown stronger.

I look forward to the 2 final installments to this series. Caitlyn you have knocked it out of the park each time. I cannot wait to physically have these books in my hands to mark them up with all of the lines that are burned into my brain.

Thank you to the author and Naughty Nook PR for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I'm really enjoying this series but I feel that Flat Out fell short as a story within the larger scope of five books. I want these characters to grow and become more than a 'mood board' of their best selves. I feel this is a fine line for this author and the characters they are passionate about.

I may be alone but I'm finding the spicy scenes overwhelming. I get it, a highly charged environment, passionate lovers and kink exploration but for heavens, when the heck do they have time to do their actual jobs? When we do have race or pit lane scenes, I feel like the research of the sport comes through strongly. That said, the 'deep love' between the couple, Callum and Aurelie, is coming to the fore rather than the 'passionate hook up' vibes from Close Contact.

I'm loving the inclusion of Ivy and the dynamic of another female character to bounce off. I was curious that a female health subplot has been introduced now and I look forward to how that angle is played out in Red Flagged and Finish Line.

Between Ivy, Marco and Kimi the found family are fleshing out and each have a support role to fill. The scenes with these characters are highlights.

I do feel that the plotting of Flat Out has made some long pulls to tie off the first half and set up the next two books, Callum's recovery for example. I can suspend reality to a point but I found this a real eyebrow raiser. Yes, we have another couple of new plot lines to follow into the tail end of the series but take out the doubling down of, for example, "I'm a woman taking a stand but I'm actually very insecure" theme, take out the spice and there wasn't much holding Flat Out together.

I'm confident that Red Flagged and Finish Line will pull the series together and staying to the end will be well worth it.

With many thanks to the author, Caitlyn P Tajon and Luna Literary for a copy of the eARC to read ahead of publication. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Flat Out is out now.

Third book, third ending that crushed me (I can't almost read other books because I need to know how it ends right now).

I loved this book, where it was finally Aurélie's time to fight and assert herself, especially against the misogynistic world and the FIA. I got nervous while reading because of how close it was to reality; in fact, it's practically reality.

I loved Callum, who was ready to fight for both of them and support her. I think they both grew immensely since the first book.

This book may have seemed slow in terms of plot, but the growth of the characters and their relationship is epic. I couldn't put it down; I screamed and cried a lot reading some scenes, and I was so angry. I have nothing to complain about the writing, only praise for how it manages to balance everything and keeps you hooked without even noticing the outside world.

I can't wait to read the penultimate book.

First of all, i will go to WAR for Aurelie and Callum.

And Morel specifically… man… I would never be able to look at the sport again.

Caitlyn has once again outdone the first two books, making you feel every single emotion and moment between these two, and i am here for it.

I am absolutely FERAL for book 4… and beyond thankful that it comes out so soon.

This book is part of an interconnected series that MUST be read in order, that end in cliffhangers.

Infinite stars.

Thank you once again Caitlyn and Luna Lit for giving me the opportunity to get my F1 fix with these two!

All of the books in this series are spicy but I think Flat Out is the spiciest. I am continuing to love Aurelie and Callum’s love story and in this book, they get even closer and make some decisions about their future together. There are some conflicts for them to work through and I loved reading about how even when things were challenging, Aurelie and Callum support each other and now their friends (Marco, Kimi and Ivy) are fighting fiercely for them too. Thank you to author Caitlyn P. Tajon and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read this early!

Book 3 is the nitty gritty. The crashes. The chaos. The unwelcomed touches. The fears said out loud. The body aches and pains.

The pure, unrequited love. The safety. The welcomed touches.

Cal and Auri are back at it taking over the F1 world with more evidence than ever. We continue following along with how they’re presented with even more challenges they could imagine.

But, while their inner demons doubt it, they’re stronger than ever.

We’ve got answers about Auri’s car. We have another person in her corner who is a force to be reckoned with.

These books are cliffhanger after cliffhanger and I’m gobbling it up.

This is the third book in the series and man, are they good! It's the right mix of plot and spice. The MCs are awesome on their own and even better together. Don't be scared off by the racing! You get a crash course in terminology every book and while it is important to the greater story, it isn't overwhelming. I really recommend these books. So much drama at the end of this one. Good thing book 4 is releasing very soon.

OH MY GOD!! CAITLYN DID IT AGAIN!! Flat out is the 3rd book in a continuous series must read Overdrive and Close Contact first!

I loved seeing Aurelie step into her boss babe era and own the FIA ALL WHILE HELPING CALLUM HEAL! Like the woman 👏🏻DOES👏🏻IT👏🏻ALL!!! You see them grow individually and overcome traumas as well as grow as a couple and UGH 😍 they make my heart so happy!! Seeing Aurelie finally (and I mean finally for once in her life) BE LOVED OUT LOUD! Cait had me crying.

Seeing how Cait handled Aurelie's pain and trauma and PCOS/ infertility had me going through the Kleenex because as someone who has experienced misogyny and has PCOS it's so cool to see someone in my book overcome the same issues as me 🩷 Yes, I did want to wrap her up into a hug and never let her go🩷

Also seeing Dom daddy Callum come to life in the pages I. Am. Sat. 🧎🏼‍♀️

I am so ready for Red Flagged to be here to see more of my fave Paddock besties and couple🥹 and Aurelie be a boss babe again 🫶🏻

Officially half way through this incredible series and the books just keep getting better. Each new book becomes my new favorite in the series. Please remember that you have to read each book in the series because they do end in cliffhangers, this one included. I am just thankful that we don’t have to wait long for the next book and that the cliffhangers just leave you wanting.

This picks up immediately following the conclusion of book 2. Callum is trying to heal his body while Auri is trying to help her heart. The journey to have them heal together is an amazing development for them. The struggles that they encounter just bring them closer together and have them living their life out loud.

We did get some answers throughout this installment but we also got more questions. I can’t wait for book 4!

I NEVER WANTED TO BE A WARRIOR. I JUST WANTED TO LOVE AND BE LOVED BY HIM. BUT THEY MADE ME FIGHT, AND NOW I WON'T STOP UNTIL HE'S SAFE-UNTIL WE'RE ALL SAFE -AND THE SILENCE FOR WOMEN IS SHATTERED.

4.25⭐, 3.25 🌶️

“If the world wanted to know what we were? This was it. Broken, stubborn, furious, but un-shakable. Us.”

BOOK THREE of the Speed Demons series (YOU HAVE TO READ BOOKS ONE: Overdrive & BOOK TWO: Close Contact BEFORE THIS. ITS THE RULES)

This series is PUTTING ME THROUGH THE RINGER! If book one caught my interest, and book two I fell in love with A&C together., this book threw a damn bug of emotions all over the equation. We start with the couple dealing with Callum's accident aftermath and the Aurelie decides to light a FIRE under the FIA for ignoring her and her reports of drivers targeting her and Callum. This book is all about Aurelie fighting the patriarchy as well as fighting Callum to take care of himself. And the whole time, our sweet boy is just in awe (as he should be) of Aurelie and everything she is fighting for. A goes through her struggles through this book, and the CHAOS of the Silverstone Qualifying day had my heart in my throat.

“And as for me... I was just grateful this sharp, savage woman was all mine even when she was taunting the world. My filthy little brat, sitting there full of steel and sin, wrecking everyone around her without even trying.”

"So what does that make us, then?"
He didn't miss a beat. "I told you I'm not asking over text."
Then he turned toward me fully, still live, still mic'ed, still holding my hand in front of the entire goddamn world. "Aurélie Dubois, mon cœur... will you be my girlfriend?" His eyes were on me now, captivating me and gluing me to the spot. Fuck. Me.
The crowd erupted. I blinked, stunned. "Now?!"
He grinned, and his single dimple made a rare appearance. Be still, my heart. "Well, I figured after the French tongue and global audi-ence, we were past the 'casually dating' phase."

SO SO excited for Red Flagged to come! The cliffhanger has me PUMPED!

Thank you Smuthood Inc and Luna Literay for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

This world that Caitlyn has built with these characters will forever be a favorite of mine. I can whole heartedly say that and the series isn’t even finished. The emotion felt through Caitlyn’s writing is top tier. The characters are imbedded into my soul and I think about them daily.

Flat Out is deeply emotional. It digs deep into heavy topics, real life topics. I found myself so immersed in this story that I didn’t come up for air until I was finished. Trying to put my feelings into words isn’t easy because I felt the emotions so deeply that I could never explain them properly. Cal and Auri have my heart forever. Next up is Red Flagged and I can’t wait to see what happens with our power couple!

*Possible spoilers for book 1 and 2 read at your own risk!!*

Picking up where we left off at the end of the previous book, I was so excited!! And honestly, it started really well… until it wasn’t anymore.

The reality is: I love this story. I love the relationship between Calum and Aurélie, they are just the cutest ever. So supportive of each other, so in love, the kind of love poetry is written about. But I felt a little bit in the previous book, and a lot in this one, that their story is being dragged out. My main issue with this book was the ratio between smut and actual plot. I’d say 60 to 70% of it was them having sex, and the rest was story. And listen, I’ll be the first to defend the importance of smut in romance books, but when you give me five consecutive chapters of them having sex, then two chapters of plot, and then another five chapters of sex… I’d argue some editing is needed.

In the first two books, it made sense to explore their physical relationship, it was new and exciting. But now they’re together, both in private and public, and adding so many explicit scenes just doesn’t fit as well. Especially now that the plot has started to thicken and so many new revelations have come to light. I was eating those plot twists up, but instead of giving us more of that, we’re left with a lot of build-up for the next book. And there are still two more books to go. I’ll reserve full judgment until I read the next one, but if we get another filler book like this, where we’re bombarded with new information that won’t pay off until later, while 250 out of 400 pages are sex scenes, it honestly doesn’t make me excited for the rest of the series.

So unfortunately, I had to give this book 3⭐️. At some point while reading, I felt such a strong urge to skip the sex scenes just to get to the actual story. It left me unsatisfied, not because it was bad, but because it just wasn’t enough. I’ll definitely continue the series because I love the universe and the characters, but if this trend continues, I’m not sure how I’ll feel about recommending it in the future.

I’m gonna be straight. This book put me in the longest reading slump I’ve maybe ever experienced.

This is the third book in a 5 book series about the same couple and I got overwhelmed with having to read about the same couple for this many pages when they’ve already been together for quite awhile. Yes, life can throw you curveballs, and yes their relationship goes through ups and downs, but I just don’t care anymore. And if I have to read one more page of “this kiss is holy” or “worshipping at your alter” or “you are holy” or any other religious metaphors, I will yeet my kindle right out the window. It’s so overwrought and repetitive, it’s cringey.

I love the characters. I love the premise. You can really tell how much the author loves and understands about F1. This will be the last book in the series I will be reading though.

3.25/5⭐️ 4/5🌶️

Thank you to Luna Literary Management and the author for an ARC copy. All opinions are completely my own.

This book left me dead and horny. Another absolutely mind-blowing and incredible book from the goddess Caitlyn P. Tajon. There is pain, love, devotion, humor, found family, and so much excitement. Hold on to your helmets and commit to your line for the ride of your life.

Flat Out, book 3 of the speed demons series, will have your heart racing and sweat pouring. The tension, heat, chemistry, and drama will have you begging to read the rest of the series. It is addictive from one word to the next, from beginning to end.

Callum and Aurelie have a love that rivals all others. Their chemistry will have you in a puddle on the floor. Their banter will leave you grinning and kicking your feet.

Callum is a dream. I have claimed him for life. Every single part of him was made for Aurelie. He is exactly what she needs. She is the same for him as well. Aurelie is the strongest FMC and you will be fangirling. She is who you want beside you through everything.

This book and these characters will truly take you out and then put you back together in the best way.

Thank you so much Caitlyn P. Tajon for allowing me to beta and be part of this amazing journey.

5 ⭐️ eARC Review
Callum Fraser and Aurélie Dubois are two of the most intense and passionate characters I’ve ever encountered, and I love them! This series is KILLING ME in the best ways imaginable.

The passion on and off the track. The fierce and fiery female lead in a male dominated field leading the way for other females and fighting for her man! And Callum by her side.

Spice: 5

Tropes:
found family
forced proximity
praise kink
touch her and die
mental health rep
Dual POV

Trigger Warnings:
infertility
assault
sexism

I'm obsessed with Aurelie and Callum. I am so glad this series is a continuation of this couple vs interconnected standalones of different F1 drivers. I just can't get enough of them. The way the devour, worship, would kill for the other one is so powerful in this series. I honestly think they may be the F1 couple version of Beth and Rip from Yellowstone (but not as Beth crazy lol). Their connection is that intense and powerful.

Book 2 ended with Aurelie lighting a match under the FIA and I was so excited to see where book 3 would take us on this journey. The woman came out swinging and showed us why you should never cross or underestimate a woman. And while this book gives everything to female empowerment, I also loved watching 3 men stand behind her and support her. No, that doesn't take away from the message, it gives more strength to it that we as women DO NOT have to fight alone. And they didn't fight battles for her... they were her soldiers and she was their commander. She led the charge and she made the calls. Have I said I love Aurelie yet?

The end of this book had me freaking stressed out and pissed... but not because it wasn't good. Because Caitlyn does an amazing job of bringing real life experiences, feelings, and situations into the story. We watched Callum fight severe anxiety after his crash. We watched Aurelie fight with her internal thoughts of "I'm not enough" - which EVERYONE deals with and I personally was able to connect to. We saw a woman fight sexism, sexual assault, infertility, and more........ and the whole time, Caitlyn doesn't just say "oh this happened" she goes into detail with every emotion, thought, and feeling that we as readers have experienced in these situations. There was no sugar coating or glossing over. It's why I love these books and her writing so much.

Now I need book 4 because I swear these books keep ending on cliffhangers. *Also, the SPICE in these books just keep getting steamier! Gah, so freaking hott!

“This wasn’t just the woman I loved. This was the woman the world wasn’t ready for. The one that both lifted me up and brought me to my knees. The one I didn’t deserve but she came running to me anyway.”

**As a reminder this is a rapid release, 5 book series. You must read Overdrive and Close Contact before reading this book. The series ends in a HEA but each individual book ends on a cliffhanger.**

CW/TW: the big one in this book is discussions surrounding fertility, shmexual harrassments on page (not between MC), major discussions surrounding MH including anxiety and suicidal ideations

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ until infinity

Y’all i cant even begin to tell you how much i love this book. i mean im going to. and instagram has that dumb character limit, hence the graphic text this time. BECAUSE NO ONE CAN CAGE ME.
THIS BOOK STARTS WITH FULL ON LIGHTS OUT, BE READY FOR THE WHIRLWIND THAT IS FLAT OUT. I HAVE NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER HAD A BOOK anD IF IM BEING HONEST A SERIES ENGULF ME AS FULLY AS SPEED DEMONS HAS.
Caitlyn is a queen. she is an amazing author and the way that she just somehow manages to completely capture the emotion in every single damn scene that she writes will never fail to amaze me.
This book was auriélie’s through and through. the growth and the vulnerability that she had with callum, and really everyone was amazing. i could not have been more proud of her. reading the way that she faced every single thing that was thrown at her this book, and dominated it with her head high and her shoulders back until she just couldn’t anymore made me beam in pride but also sob in relation. its not often that i feel like a book speaks to me. this one did. it had me sobbing in the first chapter, i went through 4 boxes of tissues with this book i swear to god.
and callum mother fucking james fraser you sir with your filthy little
mouth. never fails to just make my mouth drop and my tummy do
flippy flips. . .

Caitlyn P Tajon, ma’am. First thank you for the ARC read and letting me be apart of the Feral Grid Gremlins ™️. But DAMN MA’AM I have been wrecked, ravaged, glued back together, needing my face fanned from the HEAT between these two, thrown in a tumble drier with some rocks, taken out, folded like a pretzel, ironed out, and then being told to take a nap. How do you manage every. damned. time. to write Callum and Aurélie even better. My therapist thanks you for your contribution to her monthly bills. The way that these two develop in this book not only together but individually was truly an amazing thing to read. There were moments in this book with both Cal and Auri that had me sobbing, beaming with pride, kicking my feet like a little school girl who got a message on tumblr from someone catfishing the lead singer of sleeping with sirens. Callum and his merciless mouth gave me tummy tingles, Auri with the things that she went through in this book had me burning through tissues like a kid eating their candy on halloween night. This book has been the best one so far. The character development is TOP NOTCH. The vulnerability in this book spoke to me on a level that no other series ever has truly, I felt so seen by Auri, I wanted to hug her, myself, and younger me.

I could continue to go on and on. But I wont. If you haven’t read this series yet by Caitlyn do so. Like right now. I mean it. This series will easily be my top read of the year, if not the decade. Caitlyn, keep killing it like always boo 💋
