Ten years ago, I broke her heart. Now she’s wearing my ring and sleeping down the hall. Addie Monroe was my first love. The one I left to protect, but never stopped wanting.
Now I’m back in Marigold Ridge, guardian to my late best friend’s son—and in way over my head. When a social worker starts asking questions, I panic and say we’re engaged.
She agrees—for the kid she swore to protect. But makes it it’s all for show. No hands, no feelings, no past.
Now she’s in my house. In my space. In my head. She wears my shirts. Rearranges my life. Touches my past and stirs up everything I tried to bury.
I tell myself it’s still pretend. Until one kiss turns into an unforgettable night.
She says it’s fake. But I’ve already made up my mind. I’m going to win her back—even if it costs me everything.
To whoever is reading through these reviews wondering: “well hmm - what can I expect?” Without giving any spoilers, I can honestly say I was very very pleasantly surprised. Seeing “Billionare Daddy” in the title, I may not have been sure what to expect - but I definitely didn’t expect to be fighting through post-sobfest-hiccups right now, but here we are…
For some reason, I have never found a “second chance romance” story particularly compelling… until Liam and Addie. The moments of unintentional flashbacks - where either Liam or Addie would find their thoughts taking a steamy stroll down ::spicy:: memory lane… ::chef’s kiss::
I am not usually rocked (to the emotional core) by books, but every so often the random “wild card” reading selection stuns me!
*TW-ish - or, if you’re sensitive to: death (resulting in a young child’s uncertain future), an animal shelter (maybe it’s just me, but animals-needing-adopted are an INSTANT chokehold on my heartstrings).

I fell in love with all these characters, ok not some but you will know who.
When we meet Liam, he may a billionaire but his past still makes him feel he is the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He has never got over the pain that was dished out to him as a kid. Going back to his home town brings all those memories come flooding back and the one is Addie his girlfriend that he just left behind. Now he must all that aside to look after a little boy call Huck after his best friends dies and asked that he becomes guardian of Huck Addie is also a brilliant character who loved Liam with all her being and when he left without a word she was broken. Feeling that she was never an enough. Even though she came from a wealthy family she started and grew her own animal shelter. Let’s say when these two meet again, it is rough for both but because of Huck put their hurt aside. When Addie finds out the real reason why Liam left, she is broken but Liam is there. Oh trust me these two are hot and heavy full of love, regret and stubbornness.
We have misunderstanding, courage, stepping in when you shouldn’t. A wonderful little boy, some nasty people, you will know and full on romance with spice.
LOVED.

OMG this story had me from the very beginning. I loved how Addie and Liam found each other over his best friend’s death and leaving Liam as guardian of Huck. How after 12 years apart they found that they needed each other to save Huck from child services. How they found the legal document that named Liam as the guardian of Huck. I loved how over time they both found their love for each other never died but kept on just as strong as it always one. When Addie found out the real reason Liam left and never contacted her was amazing. Then when Liam helped her parents get a chance to talk to her felt right. Liam was always trying to solve all of Addie’s troubles without asking causing a high price in their relationship. After Liam’s trouble and Addie coming to his aid in court felt like a changing point in their life. Her animal rescue home was her pride and joy and the fact that Liam supported it mentally was great. There was just enough steam in this story. I loved all the suspense and the plot of this story. I loved the happily ever after of this story. I would recommend this story to everyone. I received a free copy of this book but am leaving this review of my own free will.
Liam went back to Montana after 12 years because his friends were died into an accident , days before they died they wrote a custody letter if something happen to them he would take care of their son. When he went to the ranch for the kid the driver tells him that he has a good nanny , when she went out from the door he noticed that he knows her,The woman who twelve years back he ran from. Addie was surprised to see him after years, He left her without a word, She helped him find the custody letter and she gone, the day after while she was at her animal shelter, she received an unknown call at first she didn’t wanted to answer it ,but then changed her mind. Liam wanted some help with the apartment because a social worker was coming to check where he was living.and check if the place is safe for a toddler, she helped him buy some stuff for the kids safety before the woman arrives. That morning he was in the front page of the tabloids because of his bachelor’s life, and when the social worker asked him about his life he said that he’s engaged with Addie and they also are in second chance of their lives.
It’s an amazing book, that I really loved reading Highly recommend this lovely story.
This was a really cute second chance romance. I fully enjoyed it. Liam and Addie are exes that are thrown back together after their childhood best friends pass in a car accident and Liam is left to care for their 2 year old son. They come across a set back and Liam claims they are engaged so that he doesn't lose the baby to CPS. You can really feel the love between them all during the book, even after being apart for 12 years. There were parts that had me crying Sasha really put you in the story with her characters. I definitely would recommend this book.

Faking it with the Billionaire Daddy by Sasha Cross I loved reading Addie and Liam's story. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't stop reading. This was a great second chance, enemies to lovers story. This is the first book I have read from Sasha Cross and I look forward to reading more of her work.

The chemistry between Liam and Addie is undeniably fascinating and hot if you ask me. This is one romance book worth reading due to the drama between the characters and I love reading second chance at love again. This is definitely a hard to put down book by Sasha that I had finished pretty quickly.
This book was such an easy read and page turner. I kept reading faster just to see what would happen next. It gives you the feels. Laughter, sadness, mad, and crying. I highly recommend!
I enjoyed the story until Addie became so stupid. She knows Liam is a billionaire, so why act like he's never supposed 2 use his money? The drama & sex scenes were great & plentiful. Thanks 4 that! 😍 Will b reading more from u Sasha.
This is an entertaining second chance, fake fiancé romance. I enjoyed Liam and Addie‘s compelling story. It’s emotional and very well written. Well worth reading.
